ABOUT ME
Hello! I am ill-advised. I am a thriller-chiller junkie, an aspiring author, and a lover of all things woodsy, spooky, crunchy or small-town.
Sometimes I can knock out a reply every other day, other times work demands a slower pace. I ask for patience from my partners and I offer patience in return. I am looking for quality, not speed. I'd prefer you take time to write something you're proud of than to rush out a post to meet a deadline.
ON STYLE
I roleplay because it is fun, but also to sharpen my craft. Writing well doesn’t mean writing a lot: some posts require six or seven paragraphs and other times that number would be stifling. Volume is not a proxy for quality and I'm not here to police your word count.
Don't be afraid to surprise me! I'm not precious about my characters or my settings. Be bold and willing to move the story forward with me—momentum is king.
I am looking for roleplays that will eventually end. I prefer to finish stories at their natural conclusion—when the plot is resolved and the characters have explored each other thoroughly—rather than letting them wither. We can always start a new adventure.
ON EROTICA
Don't let the bloviating about the craft of writing fool you: I can be a smut-hound with the worst of 'em. Spare me no sweat-and-spittle flecked detail. Give me that good toe-curling filth to make the devil blush. I prefer smutty scenes that hit one or two types of sexual content—positions, kinks, whatever—and move on. I find it more rewarding and more impactful than trying to go all-in for a total fuckfest every time. I am drawn to sensuous depictions of realistic (not porno-perfect) bodies.
PLOT IDEAS
If you've read the above and think we'd be a good fit, I've got a grab-bag of random story concepts down below for you to peruse. Some of them are more story-oriented, others are unashamedly steamier. I will add/remove plot outlines periodically as the fickle muses will it. These concepts are flexible: feel free to adjust, or add details of your own.
- The heiress to a vast business empire enlists the aid of an underworld "fixer" to manage her contentious inheritance.
- A world-renowned biologist completes her most daring project in secret: the cloning of a lost lover who died decades earlier.
- The only two survivors of a seemingly-supernatural event reconvene in their hometown on the fifteenth anniversary to compare memories—and investigate.
- A vampiress takes pity on a terminally ill single father, "turning" him to save his life.
- A prison psychiatrist falls for the high-profile inmate she has been tasked with interviewing.
- Two investigators (one state, one federal) investigate a series of murders that seem impossible.
