I've been roleplaying on and off for close to fifteen years. I started on a place called Quizazz, which then turned into Quotev, and eventually died out for roleplaying all together.
My forum experience is limited - I moved to one other site and recently found myself here. Unfortunately, I haven't had a whole lot of success searching, so I thought I'd try requesting myself.
Unlike a lot of people, I don't roleplay fantasy or sci-fi, and have little experience with supernatural elements as well. My main genres are slice of life, modern, and dark romances - all in one, sometimes.
For me, it's about a connection between my character and yours - give me the angst, the tension, and the obsession. I will always have smut and other mature themes in my roleplays, but if I had to give it a ratio, I would say on average 50/50 smut/plot. Sometimes, I prefer the plot to come first, but other times our characters will be going at it for hours.
My writing style could be described as advance, multi-paragraph - usually a minimum of 500 words, but can do much more if the time is right. There may be times it's shorter than that, but it truly depends on the scene we are in - always quality over quantity.
I have few limits, and most things are up for discussion. Please review my f-list for more details on this, as it's accurate and up to date.
I do not write fandoms, fantasy, sci-fi, or things in the realm of furries/aliens/monsters. All plots and pairings are original and in a world of their own.
My characters are created on a plot by plot basis - this means I will always have to create a new character for a roleplay, but also means it'll be unique to our plot.
I only use realistic faceclaims, or realistic drawings.

A pet peeve of mine is when I am the only one pushing the story forward - don't just respond to what I said, but rather help create the scene and keep the plot moving. I can't carry the whole thing on my shoulders, and I would like a partner who is willing to collaborate with me. I will have much shorter replies, and likely even lose interest if there's no effort on your end.
I am often on for replies at least every other day, if not daily. That's not to say there won't be times where it takes me a week to get a reply out. I am a very patient, no pressure kind of writer - this is supposed to be fun, and relaxing. Character sheets for me are not necessary, but if you'd prefer to create them we can! I can do something as simple as Name, Age, Faceclaim and run from there.

Plots I have currently typed up:FMC is the maid of honor in her sisters wedding - a destination wedding overseas. This meant over a week to experience a brand new country, with views she'd only dreamt of. MMC is the best man, who'd always been a part of the grooms life. As a part of their roles in the wedding, and despite never having met, the two of them were bound to spend a lot of time near each other. They find themselves enjoying each other's company, but agreed to keep it casual and anything that happened would stay between them. Days before the wedding, FMC finds out that MMC is actually the grooms father.
- FMC would likely be the older sister to the bride - early thirties? The two of them could be super close, so maybe that's how she finds out - telling her sister what's in her father in laws pants? lol.
- I see one or both of them struggling morally, and having to navigate their secret + their feelings they hoped wouldn't develop.
- They could live in either the same city, or two different places. So they could navigate the long distance, or figure out a way to maintain their secret, or maintain their relationship (whichever way the storyline goes!)
MMC thinks FMC is a spoiled brat. FMC is dating his little brother, who loves her just as much as he loves to spend money. It wasn't that his brother didn't have money - the family business kept them all very wealthy. It was that his brother had proposed to FMC twice, and she turned him down both times. Yet, there she was across from the fire on fourth of July, his brothers arm around her waist and a new pair of diamond earrings sparkling. He was starting to think FMC was leading his brother on, and he didn't like it. They find themselves alone together, and MMC confronts her. FMC is in fact a spoiled brat, and she had always sort of liked MMC, so she throws him attitude. He suddenly wanted to wrap his hand around her throat, and she knew it.
- FMC could be in college, and MMC could be late twenties. The brothers could be twins too - ages tbd.
- Family business can be discussed - tech company/exec. vibe? ranch owners for a country vibe? it's up to us.
