I'm officially off of my hiatus and I'm trying to get back into the groove of writing longer stories. I've typed up several drafts of this request and none seemed to stick, so I'm finally throwing caution to the wind and posting. Hopefully, the flow is cohesive and whatnot. But if you have any questions, PMs are always open ! I'll add a little bit about me. I go by Amor, I'm genderfluid AFAB and my pronouns are he / she / they. I'm generally a sucker for good romance stories. Moreso, if the settings are historical ( ie. England / France in the 1800's β doesn't have to be 100% historically accurate cause this is fiction ). I also find steampunk settings enjoyable. I'm not a fan of ultra modern or sci-fi settings, so I'll likely avoid those, unless the story is especially compelling. I have a couple of stories taking place in a modern / current timeline and I'm not looking for any more of those in the moment.
I'm looking to write something long-term, likely taking place in Europe during the 1800's or in a steampunk setting ( picture Alice : Madness Returns ). Romance must be included, because platonic stuff tend to bore me very quickly. I'd also like some darker elements within the story to keep me on my toes, but it's not mandatory if you prefer something more fluffy and light-hearted. I personally have a high tolerance for themes like violence, gore, murder, etc. But if you're not into that, something lighter can be discussed so we can both be comfortable during the story. I primarily want to work with fandomless OC's right now, but I'll include a couple of fandoms that have my interest right now. OC's are highly preferred though ! I write anywhere from 350 words, up to 1000 words. It all depends on the scene we're writing and how inspired I am while typing a reply. I won't go less than 350 words though because I like some detail in my stories. My reply schedule is once a week per post, but I will occasionally respond within the same day as your last reply. I don't do rapid fire posting because it burns me out, so bear with me if I'm not responding on the spot. Lastly, I highly prefer drawn / animated faceclaims, but I will consider live action ones, if that's mandatory for you. I'm just a lot more picky with those. Please, don't use AI generated faceclaims for these roleplays. I'm personally not a fan of AI, sorry about that. I'd like clear communication to be present. If you lose interest, or if something I'm asking for is beyond your comfort limits, please let me know in advance.
All the stories I include below are MxF and I will only write the female counterpart. They can be adjusted to be MxM, since I have experience in such dynamics, but it's not a need right now. I'm also happy to discuss each story in a FxF setting, but I have very little experience in writing sapphic dynamics. In FxF, I'll be writing the submissive counterpart. I do enjoy smut, but I prefer if it happens organically, even if it's very frequent. I'd say my ratio is 60/40 plot to smut, without it being a binding contract. Main characters will be 18+ ( 25+ preferred ), as per site rules.
I don't do doubling. My ADHD brain can't handle it.
PLOT #1
Very loosely inspired by Cinderella's tale, MC is a maid for a very wealthy household, who has always dreamed of attending one of the extravagant balls her Master and his family attend frequently. A friend of the Master's wife takes notice of MC and her beauty and gifts her a beautiful outfit, so she can secretly attend the ball as well. She meets YC, who can either be a Prince, or a wealthy man in general. YC takes interest in MC, the curious but beautiful woman who has never attended any other ball before. What I want for this story is writing out the potential angst, due to YC and MC's differences in social status, as well as the scandal that is created because a man of status has chosen to go after a woman who has nothing for herself.

This is one of the few fandom-based plots I really want to write. It's basically an alternative ending to the Phantom of the Opera, where Christine ( MC ) falls in love with Erik / the Phantom ( YC ). It has a lot of angst potential and it's something I've been wanting to write out properly since I first discovered roleplay. It's not mandatory to have read the book, because I'll go based on the film.

On the outside, MC appears as a sweet, dedicated daughter who makes her wealthy parents proud every day. Behind the scenes, she's a bitter psychopath who ends the lives of women she considers rivals in her own, self-made love story. Kinda Yandere vibes, but not at 100%. She can also be a Vampire without anyone knowing, if that's something you're interested in. She meets YC during a family member's wedding and immediately decides YC is her other half. She will stop at nothing to make him hers.

I'm adding this here as well. A Harry Potter based love story between a female student ( MC ) and a Professor ( YC ). If you can write Severus Snape, even better. But you can also write an OC and I'm fine with that. Settings will be tweaked to abide by site rules ! In other words, MC will be a University student and she will be 18+ at all times of the roleplay.
