Hi all i'm CarolineJones. I'm a 20 year old women that had a weird dream about a zombie type of story and now of course i have worked it out into a actual idea that seems really fun to try in a roleplay story. Welcome.

The fear of nuclear war once gripped the world, driving a clandestine military faction to engineer a bioweapon one designed to silently neutralize threats and impose control. The virus did not comply. Instead, it mutated, warping its hosts into mindless predators, faster, stronger, and insatiable. Nations crumbled in weeks. In desperation, governments turned to nuclear fire, sacrificing entire regions in a futile attempt to cleanse the infection.

Survivors fled underground, seeking salvation in the Arcadia Project (A.P.) shelters vast subterranean sanctuaries meant to outlast the horrors above. Generations have since lived and died beneath the earth, their world reduced to corridors of steel and artificial skies. What remains beyond the sealed doors is unknown. No voices return from the surface. No eyes have seen what the world has become. Arcadia is all that is left.

And it is enough. Clean water, stable air, soft beds. Entertainment, commerce, routine. A controlled, structured existence. To rebuild above would be madness, to exchange certainty for ruin. The old world is dead.

Yet peace is a fragile illusion. Beneath the surface, within the shelters themselves, desperation festers. The search for a cure to the rage virus has led to unsanctioned experiments, reckless ambition, and quiet disappearances. Arcadia was meant to be humanity's last hope.

Now, it may be its final mistake.

Spoiler: Roleplay idea

Our story begins within A.P. Mount Gloria a fortress within and underneath the earth. Here, everyone has a role. Everyone contributes. Because in Arcadia, "You work to earn, you earn to live, and to live we survive."

For years, life has persisted under this doctrine. Our OCs have carved out their place within the system and it's a good life. Shop whenever you want and fo out to eat when you please. Not bad indeed. But stability is a fragile thing. When the outbreak begins, A.P. Gloria crumbles in secret.

Where did it come from? Not from the wastelands above, as some will claim. Not from the ruins of the old world.

It was born here, in the heart of Arcadia Gloria itself.

If you thought the world ended on September 26, 2025, you were wrong. The true collapse began in March 19, 2198 driven as always by humanity's own insatiable greed. And now, those who saw, those who witnessed the fall, must make an impossible choice. To survive, they must do what no one has dared since that day in September over a decade ago.

They must go outside.

Writing style and reply time.
⪧⋆⪦The story will be written in 3rd pov and replies will be literate. I write between 4,695 characters (around 800 words) and 6,996 characters (around 1,250 words) This depends on scene, character and all that' happens ofc. Im looking for a partner who can write like this too and is not to picky if the reply is around the 4000 characters once a while.
⪧⋆⪦ I'll reply 1-3 times a week. More if i have free days. This can also be less, but always try to keep it in a week!

⪧⋆⪦ No need to continue write blood and violence. I'm no fan of 'kills because they can and are mentally ill' type of characters.

This is simply because i also need to come out of my shell. And people that like to talk, people that like to put in effort mostly tend to read my thread better than those who don't. It's sets the tone if you get what i mean.

So, if you don't think i'm a nutjob that has to many demands reach out! I promise i'm not all that scary when we actual begin to talk i just thought of trying to make my thread a bit different see if it gets attention.
