Hello everyone!
Please call me Kyero (pronounced the same as the city of Cairo, Egypt despite the spelling implications).
I am a veteran role-player of almost 18 years now, and am primarily a fantasy genre writer/role-player. My favorite time period to role-play in is medieval/late medieval where the crossbow is the pinnacle of weapon's tech and guns aren't part of the picture (save for the cannon). I don't know why I prefer this. I just find it more interesting when nobody has the advantage of a gun which fires a round that's too fast to even see. At least you can see an arrow as it flies into your eye before you die.
... Ahem. My apologies for that gruesome visual.
Anyway!
My favorite things to write and immerse myself in are action, romance, and apprehension. As a now 18 year martial arts veteran and instructor, action is my true forte and nobody will write more realistic (hand-to-hand) combat than I will... Ever. That, I can guarantee. Romance is next, as I'm also a sucker for a good love story. And apprehension and tension are my two favorite things in the world with respect to atmosphere and mood in a role-play.
I do my best to provide entertainment OOC and always do my best to follow all rules and guidelines about the worlds in which I role-play. If I am the creator of the role-play, you will find yourself in a world with many strict rules and regulations which limit your palette and force you to think outside the box to get the most out of the role-play. Don't be too worried about that though as most of my rules, while strictly enforced, are very easy to follow and quickly become just another part of your being true to form and genre in the role-play.
I am brand new to this site, having been disappointed in previous role-playing sites I visited, and am hoping to find at least a few people here who can rekindle my love of role-playing as it was nearly extinguished over the last year or so. If you think that you can put up with me and help me find and enjoy a world which will push my skills and writing potential to their limits, then please do contact me!
Thank you all very much for your time!
Sincerely,
Kyero Di' Nelma
