"Let's Begin, I'm gonna make you wish that I Stayed Gone! Tune on in... When I'm done, your status quo will know it's Race is Run! Oh, this will be FUN.
What's up mother fuckers, it's me again. After a bit of a hiatus from all story-making mischief, I've decided to come back and make an attempt to try and make this somewhat of a regular thing again. But this time around I want to try and make a few changes that will hopefully lead to a less stressful experience on my end, and just enjoy the ride with whoever I'm writing with. What do I mean by this? Well, keep reading and find out for yourself.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rule #1. Right now, I only want to do 1 RP at any certain point. An issue I came across the last time I tried to be a part of stories was that I felt like I was stretching myself a bit too thin with all the RP's I was doing with people plus stuff that was going on at the moment. So for now, to make things a bit easier to manage, I'll only limit myself to 1 RP, and as long as that story is still going on, I want to focus on that 1 RP. This rule might change over time, but for now, that's the limit.
Rule #2. At the risk of sounding boring or being the buzzkill, for now, I don't want any of the themes in the RP's I'm a part of to be too chaotic. There can be fun and unique settings that can be tackled. I don't want to limit myself too much, but any grand stories about toxic love, political turmoil, or dark and depressing themes aren't what I want to focus on in terms of stories. Again, the rule can be changed to an extent if the idea for the story sounds fun enough to do, but for the most part, I want to keep the stories that we make as I get back into the site to be... "Light and Casual with maybe some hints of action and adventure."
Rule #3. I'm going to have to ask anyone who wants to do any RP with me to please be patient. Right now, I have a lot of things that I need to sort out in the real world, and I don't want to feel like everything that goes on here will add to any stress I may have. I certainly won't want to just leave you with nothing; on the contrary in fact, if there is something I'm deeply passionate about, I want to see it through to the end. But stuff like this can take time to do and I want to keep this as more of a fun side activity rather than a full-time job. So please understand that I might not be perched up like a hawk, ready to dive in whenever it's time, but let me assure you that if you want to give 100% to a piece of creative writing, then I want to do the same.
Rule #4. This is just a personal thing for me, but concerning the types of themes and some of the content that may be present in most of the stories on this site, I'd prefer for my partners to be around 21 years of age. I know everyone on this site should be 18 years and older (which is very much a good thing), but for me I feel like I have a bit of a higher standard for whom I find ok to work with if anything in the stories were to get... wild. So just as a heads up, be 21 and older and I'm ok to work with you on any story!
Rule #5. Just try to have fun with it. This isn't anything serious, it's just a bunch of different people writing stories together. Why make life more stressful than it already is?
So, with all of that out of the way, here's what you can expect from me as a writer if you choose to do anything with me!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
I always want to match the bulkiness of each reply with that of the person I'm writing with. I can certainly try to be an overachiever and add more, but for the sake of keeping things compact, I'd say two to three paragraphs each, depending on how much story needs to be told.
As for my writing schedule, please look back up to Rule #3 of the stuff I've written above.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
I'm not against the idea of there being a bit of violence and blood, but as of right now, I don't want to try and turn anything into a horror story. So I'm ok with blood, but not so much blood that it would be enough to paint an entire house with one bucket.
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
Now, this is a bit of a tricky topic for me. I'm not against the idea of sexual content being present in stories, but if they appear in stuff that I help make, I feel like I'd want to be VERY specific with how it's depicted. Obviously, it should not involve any themes with gross fetishes, any weird and probably illegal pairings, and any characters that are under the age of 18. Some particular no no's from me would be any relationship built to demean or belittle any partner involved, no cheating or NTR if you want to use the special three letter word, no characters that look like children but by some logic are actually reaching into 4 digit numbers (that is an excuse that will never work on me), and lastly no fetishes that would be a bit more on the extreme side like BDSM and stuff of that nature. If you have any concerns on if you think I won't be ok with any sort of sexual kink or theme, then please pass it by me, and I'll try my best to answer.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
I'm more than ok with that. Hell, I even tried to do some Pokemon-themed groups RPs in here... with very little success... But I will say that I'm ok with it if the thing is based on is something I'd feel comfortable doing an RP story in. I may have a Hazbin Hotel character as my entire persona on here but that doesn't mean I'm comfortable portraying them doing it. Also, I prefer to have any fandom stories be based around us playing original characters in those worlds and not characters that already existed in them. I just find it to be more fun and leads to more ways we can make our own unique stories with those fandoms.
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
Nothing concrete at the moment, but I am open to many different ideas and possibilities if you have them. Just send me a message with which ones you'd want to do with me, and I'd be more than happy to read them. Also, if I do come up with ideas for certain pairings with specific settings, I'll be sure to add them onto here. Other than that, I can rock with what ever setting or pairing you got planned.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
Nothing detailed at the moment, no...
Do you have any characters you want to write? (Our character forum is here if you want a dedicated thread)
If I do, it will probably be a character we come up with together. As of right now, I don't have any latching ideas for characters I want to use in any RPs
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That should cover most of the important details for now. I apologize if it isn't super deep or detailed but when I get the time to I'll try to explain things a bit more and answer any questions you may have if something here confused you. Other than that, I just hope this return works out well and that we can make some fun stories together! So please, if you think I'd be the right man to help you out with a story, please send me a message and I'll be sure to get back to you at my earliest convineance. I'm excited to see any responses I get!
