Basically, the RP takes place 9500 years before the airbender genocide, during the era of the very 4th ever Avatar. The world of Avatar is very different at this time, and even though three Avatars had come before, still not everyone knows what the Avatar is. The RP is basically a "team avatar" type group coming together to search for the new Avatar deep in the Earth Dynasties, an 8 year old child, before a warlord or worse discovers them.
This "team avatar" will likely become the child's bending teachers and masters. As of right now, the avatar is a NPC, and has no role to play in the RP.
The roles of air-bender, water-bender, earth-bender & fire-bender have been filled thus far, but we have room for one more player... the non-bender of the group.
