Hi there, as you all know I am BaldurAnthology. I spent like.. a month and a half to two months working on a character named "Dead Justice" AKA Mathias Cromwell, for a Fallout-style post apocalyptic story, he's a non-sexual character and I thought he'd be great for some laughs, some cool moments etc. However, since I created him, nobody seems interested in him in my other thread, so I've decided to make a thread here specifically to do with him.

I am looking to do a post apocalyptic setting roleplay. I write in third person past tense, and the character I would prefer to use is Mathias/Dead Justice. We can add other elements to it, such as zombies or whatever but the BASE world will be set in the Fallout universe (Based on the game series, specifically Fallout 3, NV and 4) and can take place in any of the areas from those three locations. HOWEVER, my main rule is to NOT use any already established characters from the fanbase you're RPing. So for example no playing Harry Potter or Hermione if you're doing a harry potter RP. No playing Buffy from Buffy the Vampire slayer etc. There's always fights over people using those characters, "You're not voicing them right, they would never do that action" etc. Plus, it feels really lazy to me to play a character that already exists... I mean Dead Justice is a character I made as part of a challenge to take a Scooby DOo villain and make it a lore friendly (For the most part) Fallout character... but at least he's not just... that dude in a rubber mask. He has his own depths, humor, bits and stuff that makes him unique. That sort of thing.

I write multiple paragraphs, usually a minimum of 1-3 and if I'm motivated and interested enough I can write even more than that. I believe that Dead Justice would make for some fun and interesting dynamics, so I'm hoping to get him up and working. I expect my partner to write the same amount as I do, as I feel one liners offer no creative input. There's nothing I can take from one line of writing that lets me expand a story in a significant way.

You can find my character sheet for Dead Justice, as well as my other RT, in my signature. Feel free to DM me if you have ideas or interest in this. Thank you and have a nice day/afternoon/evening/night select whatever applies XD.

OH, something I forgot to add.. I'm alright with making a new character to do an apocalypse that's like.. Zombie related instead of just a fallout stuff. HOWEVER I do not like the Walking Dead... the zombies there are kinda boring. All they can do is slowly horde at you, distract them with a loud noise and briskly powerwalk away. Plus they'd eventually start to rot and just die on their own after a few months of exposure. I'd be more willing to do something like Dying Light or Dead Island style zombies... basically you got your normal zombies, your "Infected" IE the fast running ones, ones that explode, big tall athletic guys become things like thugs which can hit really hard.. chargers... etc. Like there's all sorts of different styles that make zombies an ACTUAL threat in those franchises, plus if you add things like climbing into the mix it makes things more interesting

JUST SO WE'RE CLEAR... I am 100% fine with adapting or making new story ideas etc. After all, a RP is a two or more person story, not just one person writing on their own! Writing in bold so it stands out.

I posted this recently in my sexual/ "Can have smut" thread but I had a few ideas recently that might be fun to do.

IDEA ONE... A horror type deal where I play a ghost or some other sort of evil spectral creature and I have to try and haunt and scare away the other person and they have to defeat me somehow before that happens? IDK. Obviously things will start off slowly, the character will likely dismiss early attempts at scaring as just their imagination etc cause who has like... a jar fall off the counter and thinks immediately "oh my god my house is haunted!" Nobody except a stupid person XD They are more likely to think "I must have put that too close to the edge without realizing it" or "Guess there was some sort of earthquake?" like... they're not going to immediately think of ghosts... especially if they have a cat they'd more likely scold the cat... cause cats are adorable assholes XD

IDEA TWO... Something sci fi... humans find a crashed alien spaceship of some variety, push some wrong buttons it takes off with them inside and now they have to figure out how to feed themselves, explore whatever planets the malfunctioning autopilot takes them to, and find out how to get into the bridge to HOPE to find a way back to Earth. Could have smut or non smut either way it would be a fun adventure, lots of potential for alien races, creatures, alien skies, etc.

IDEA THREE... something ELSE sci-fi but more based around Doctor Who. I never RP with canon characters, so it's easy to create a new timelord (I'd prefer to play the timelord I've done a lot of research into how the console works etc) and have a companion travel with them to see alien skies, witness historical events, go to the future etc. Lots of potential, as I said in my other thread, this could easily have smut in it if you were so inclined.. as what girl (or guy) wouldn't want to say they'd had sex under an alien sky while a lake that sparkled like silver lapped at the shore beside them sort of thing.... but it could just as easily NOT be a sexual RP, have the two not compatible, or have the timelord be in a regeneration where they're not interested in anything sexual, is a bit condescending because they're superior to humans... etc.

I thought of a cool story idea... I've never done steampunk stuff before but for some reason I have this idea to combine steampunk stuff and magic, and when I did so I came up with an idea of a necromancer who instead of raising corpses binds the souls of the dead to mechanical dolls to fight their foes. A body that can be reused and modified as needed. Admittedly the idea came to me after listening to that "dolls of new albion" thing but rather than have them like run for politics or anything like that I figured it would have a more sinister side of things. No misguided good hearted person wanting their friend/lover back but someone who found that formula, found that critical ingredient as it were... and made BETTER dolls that could actually move properly to do something evil. I'm honestly not sure yet, but in my head it seems awesome and creepy and dark... and obviously non sexual cause like who the hell wants to sleep with a necromancer? They're gathering parts of cadavers to bind the souls of the dead etc... like not something that exactly arouses the common person. may fascinate someone who was researching the "forbidden" side of magic etc. Plus that gives options for stuff like guns, magically enhanced firearms, airships... a floating steampunk castle of darkness guarded by the enslaved souls of dead soldiers bound to dolls.... statues...

JamesMartin suggested that, as in his words I am a "good writer" etc that I should include a sample of my writing in my RTS, as it would help give people an idea of how I write. Here it goes. I will be using my character "Malik".
Tossed upon a tormented ocean, a storm raging all around it, was the ship of the not-so-notorious pirate, Ashenbeard. It was said that he was the most CURSED pirate upon the seven seas. No matter what venture he tried to accomplish, no matter what ship he sank, it would inevitably be the ship that contained nothing more than manure and spoiled alcohol, have backup waiting somewhere close by, one time was a disguised navy ship, and so on. As he sought to escape his fate, he anxiously rubbed his hand over an ornate gold ring that encircled his right middle finger. The ring was unusual, resembling two serpents with jeweled eyes wrapped tightly around his finger, and it almost seemed to be alive. Sometimes you could see the eyes blink at you, or a tiny tongue flick from one of the tiny golden mouths. Pushing his soaking wet hair out of his eyes, he forced his ship onward. However, he was unaware this would be the last of his long lifetime of failed escapades. Looking to his right, he glared at a 21st century lawn chair recliner complete with umbrella, which was hovering several feet above the unsteady deck. Upon it lounged a fiery eyed man, sipping some form of iced cocktail as he watched the pirate's efforts in amusement. The being lounging in the chair was an Afrit, the most powerful form of Djinn or Genie. A God of fire, earth and air, a being of immense power, within whom resided the ability to alter reality at the snap of his fingertips. However, just as all other bound members of his kind... he was unable to use this power unless at the behest of foolish mortal whims. He had originally been a human, dying of a dreaded curse. A curse which later would be known as "Cancer". He had broken into the treasury of the ruler of his town and discovered the ring which now resided on Ashenbeard's finger. A deal with the being within turned him into an Afrit, and the being took his place, as he wished only to die and escape the bonds he was tricked into by a bastard named Solomon the Wise. This being of fire, this God of Fire and the Desert Winds was known simply as Malik.

Malik watched in amusement as he sipped his drink, all the while the idiot of a man who was his current owner struggled against the currents. As the waves and the lashing winds slammed against the boats, rain hissed on his skin as he sat there as though lounging on a beach, a foot or two above the heaving deck. He grinned as one of the crew fell overboard to be swept away, or to drown below the waves. This had certainly been a long and arduous period of servitude for him, however with the way things were currently going, he foresaw this being the end at last. All the idiotic Captain Ashenbeard needed to do was make one more wish. With this, Malik would be free! No longer would he be bound to keep the idiot alive or follow harebrained schemes. His glowing eyes stared into the darkness as he noticed a shadow on the horizon. His fiery eyes gazed in delight at a large ship flying the colours of the Royal Navy. As the large vessel bore down upon them, Eugene Smith.. aka "Ashenbeard" flailed to get the fiery man's attention. Malik gladly made his chair and drink vanish, the torrential downpour turning to steam on his abdominal muscles. Having little in the way of modesty, Malik wore little more than jewelry and the bands of servitude that encircled his biceps, the lower half of his body shrouded by an inferno swirling around him like a cyclone or a dust storm. With a somewhat sinister grin, Malik demanded, "What is thy bidding, o master? Speak thy words.. and I shall make it so!" for the final time, as this was Eugene's last wish. Eugene, the ever intelligent moron that he was, uttered his final wish. "I wish that this storm was powerful enough to destroy that navy ship!"

A twisted, evil grin contorted Malik's face as he realised with that wording the moron had spelled out his own doom. The contract between Djinn, Genie, Afrit and whomever it was that held their binding artifact ensured the being was unable to harm that which they served. However, with the final wish uttered, the contract was fulfilled and Malik was free to kill two ships with one storm. "As thy bid, my master, so shall it be done. With thy final wish spoken, I shall return to my slumber. Farewell, idiot." Without even a bow of politeness, as he had no respect for the fat idiot on the helm, Malik waved a hand at the sky. A blast of fire shot from his hand, which illuminated the entire ship. For a moment, the splintering deck glowed with warm light, as though the sun had risen aboard the sodden, rain-lashed planks. The ferocity of the storm increased by a magnitude of ten, going from a tropical storm to a full blown hurricane. As the ship cracked and creaked, the pirate Eugene cursed and tried to get his ship to safety. Malik swirled into a fiery cyclone of his own, the mouths of the serpent ring worn on Eugene's finger both opened and Malik's essence was absorbed into the metal. When the last of the sand, fire and warmth was gone, the ring became icy as it loosened itself from the pirate's fingers and fell through a hole in the deck. Downwards it bounced through broken timbers and now dead crew until it wound up in the meager treasury at the bottom of the vessel. There it landed within a golden box, embossed with warnings in every language to have ever been spoken or written by mankind. "DO NOT OPEN." they declared. "SORROW BEFALLS ALL WHO DARE TO OPEN THIS BOX!" or the even more direct, "DO NOT PUT ON THE RING!". The ring landed on a layer of black silk, the gold gleaming sullenly in the light of the now burning and flooding deck. As the broken ship flooded, the box slammed shut before the waters could reach it. A hiss of hot air, a smell of desert sand... and silence.

Within this box, within the hull of a dead ship, Malik and his ring slipped out of history and memory while it rested at the bottom of the ocean. For a while the ship "sailed" onward, pushed by currents, just buoyant enough to not come to full rest on the ocean floor. Eventually, wood rot and collisions with underwater rocks and sunken mountains broke the aged hull apart, causing the forgotten wreck to settle upon the ocean floor. Towering reefs and anemones flanked each side of the now green wreck as fish and other undersea life made it their home. All the while the skeleton of his last owner could still be seen lashed to the wheel, his skull in his hands from where he wept as his ship sank beneath the ocean waves. A small family of minnows darted in and out of the now hollow eye sockets, sunlight poured down from the surface of the water far above, and for hundreds of years, Malik has slumbered. Alone and at peace, he slumbered the centuries away. No idiotic humans had him at their beck and call.. no wishes for power or money, fame or fortune. For now he was free, but he knew one day he would be found. Oh yes.. the greed of man was well known to Malik. He knew one day he would be fished out of the darkness and made to serve again. However, until then he would enjoy the reprieve from servitude.

For another example of my work, see this channel that didn't actually progress to anything lewd. https://writerssanctum.com/threads/shrouded-flame.24417 where I was working with FeralStryker. Unfortunately, things didn't end up working out due to differences of styles and creative directions, but as you can see they write a lot too so go check them out as well if I'm not what you're after!

For a more recent example of my writing, I've got a RP going with ChaosPixie. Hopefully my writing is good enough to work with. https://writerssanctum.com/threads/the-revelation-chaospixie-baldur.28086/

Do we need to know anything about Fallout to participate? I know just about zilch >.<

I mean the fallout games are pretty easy to find lore Video on but honestly though Dead Justice was built in fallout he could fit any post apocalyptic scenario with cyberpunk or like SciFi tech and radiation as a problem since Ghouls are caused by intense exposure to radiation causing a mutation that causes you to age slowly but kinda look like a zombie..

Right. let's get some dust out of my skull shall we? Currently seeking partners to pair with either Fabian, Malik or Dead Justice (Non sexual for Dead Justice) As found in my character thread. Feel free to DM me if you're interested in either a vampire, an afrit (Basically like Jafar.. the evil/fire version of a genie far more powerful) or a ghoul/sentient zombie gunslinger (IE not feral not gonna bite)
