Hello, Sanctum! I'm King Ditto, and have been off-and-on roleplaying and writing and this site for quite some time now! I'm fairly literate and aim to write about three paragraphs minimum per post (but often tend to match my partner) and can be really active, often able to do multiple posts a day! I have a heavy tolerance for violence and gore and darker themes and moments. I welcome them! I don't need smut and tend to focus on plot.

I am VERY open to plots of yours! Don't be shy to come to me with an idea!

My fandoms (will change soon, can't think of many right now)

My plot ideas/settings (More will be added in the future)

The Astrian race is a race of alien shapeshifters that came to Earth in the 2010s. Attention came to this lowly planet with the advent of the atomic bomb and the successful Apollo missions. See, Astrians believe that they and they alone should be able to colonize the stars. They began their assimilation was peaceful enough, but through the years, they became a lot more violent.

Here are some notes on the Astrian species as a whole!

  • They can shapeshift. They must see a thing at least once in order to take its form. They can alter their form further from the base, but most tend to not do so.
  • The only thing they can taste on earth is salt, no matter their form. This means that a shapeshifter would most likely have a tendency to oversalt anything they eat or seemingly not care if something tastes fowl. They cannot be poisoned. They do not need water.
  • They have a form of telepathy in which they can speak at certain frequencies that only their species can hear and can "Tune in" to these by changing what they can hear momentarily. This also means that they can hear dog whistles. Their technology is based around "Telepathic" language and, as such, is useless to any other species (unless the species also has a similar ability)
  • While in an egg (before the cluster is lain), the fetus absorbs the memories of the mother and, while developing, they take on a form from those memories before hatching, so not even their species knows what the true "Base Form" is.
  • They have a deep sense of loyalty to their siblings, but not to their parents.
  • Though they can change forms at any time, most have a "Favored Form" and tend to default to it.
  • They have fairly short attention spans and are bored easily when it comes to education-based activities (such as math and science) as they feel as though they already know everything.
  • They have dedicated their species to the sciences, maths, and technology. As such, they have essentially forgone culture as we understand it (Arts, stylized architecture, music, even the study of history for the most part).
They do not need Earth. The fear humanity and see it as a bug to be killed quickly before they get out of control. While there are Astrian colonizers, the invasion is mostly made up a military force.

I have two paring ideas for this one, both have roughly the same setup:

Your character is on the run, off the grid, or something of the like. I would be an old childhood friend of yours who, as it would turn out, was an Astrian the whole time. This can go one of two ways. I start out either really sympathetic to your plight and humanity as a whole and attempt to help (no matter how misguided I may be) or I have fallen wholly into the Astrian ways, becoming cruel and uncaring.

Your character had just recently lost a sibling in either a drive-by or drunk-driving incident. Upon doing the very sordid job of cleaning out their apartment, YC finds that their sibling had been developing a truly sentient AI program. The program, simply known as N1mr0d. After being briefed on what happened to the sibling (his creator), N1m vows revenge through any means necessary. In addition to the program, the two had been working on an apparatus that would allow Nim to control the user's body while knocking the wearer out for the duration. After using your body to exact brutal revenge, Nim would begin a period of manipulation, gaslighting, and overall possessiveness as he tries to both cover up the crime, control your life, and maybe take out other threats that he figures are in his way.

I got less for this one. It's one of my first and I would like to kinda see it realized!

Hope you have a great day, everyone
