About: Usually seen smoking a cigarette and looking a bit tired and overworked. He is an intellectual man, having had many jobs as a scientific researcher in his youth. He currently is working as a biology professor at an university. He finds himself very busy but still likes to take time off to enjoy himself often. He definitely appreciates the effort made into scheduling things out with him. He does usually keep a busy schedule so surprise and spontaneous things just don't seem to suit him. He is an atheist as he bases many of his founding beliefs in science.

About: A man with money, and he makes it obvious. He is a bit too flirtatious for his own good. Due to inheritance and some smart moves on the stock market he has become ever more wealthy than he had expected. He loves living the good life, and has all the money to spend, and he sure loves to spend. He never lets those he is close with struggle financially. Slate gladly shares his wealth with others around him.. He is always busy but hardly ever with work.
