Hello to the extra curious!
While I'm relatively new to this site, like many on here, I've been roleplaying for a while, as far back as the late 90s early 2000s and I have just hit 35.
If you came here before my request thread, I like third person, not a ton of smut, genres vary depending on staring plots, and tend to do multi-paragraph posts. I'm just not a 1-2 sentence type of story teller, I post a guaranteed weekly but usually can sneak in multiple a day depending on the schedule.
"What's with the username?" - I played a lot of League of Legends and was always bot lane support with my friends and coming up with new usernames to use online is not a fun thing for me.
"Do you do other stuff?" - I work full time Mon-Friday, and weekends are scattered between a dog, partner, reading, hiking, fishing, ect. I live in the middle of nowhere in a very nature heavy state so while I'm not an extreme outdoor activity person, we do try to get out when it's nice. I'm also a professionally trained photographer just a few years shorter than doing this, I've worked in a lot of different studios, for events, and it's now still a very beloved side gig.
"Books?"- YES. While I've never really taken a book plot and changed it with anyone here's a list of authors/series I've enjoyed over the years:
-Stephen King (If you only know him as the alien/horror guy, I highly recommend the newer title Fairytale, it's a great change up.)
-Bruce Coville (Not as much lately but I ate up that unicorn series when I found it)
-Neil Gaiman
-Dean Koontz
-Sarah J. Maas. (I have ONLY fully read Throne of Glass and it flew to my top favorite series of all time. I know the overall happenings in Court of Thornes and Roses.)
-Rachel Gillig; The Dark Window/Two Twisted Crowns
-Brom (Slewfoot)
-Patrick Rothfuss (The Name of the Wind)
-Holly Black
-M.J Haag
-Laurell K Hamilton (pretty much everything)
-Patricia Briggs (Mercy Thomspon series)
-I've also got a handful of graphic novels, I'm on like 5 different phone apps for them
I suppose since I listed books some of you would like to know movies/series I enjoy:
-Alien. I can't explain it but I've watched them all like 8 times now send help
-Starship Troopers
-The Last Witch Hunter
-Constantine
-Beetlejuice
-Rocky Horror
-Men in Tights
-Kubo and the Two Strings
-Atlantis
-Treasure Planet
-Doom (this movie is popcorn for my brain. I refuse judgement)
-Stardust (yeah, I know it was a book, I also really thought the movie adaption was lovely)
-The Nun
-Anaconda
-Apostle
-The Ritual
-Independence Day
-Conan
-CHAOS
-Bake Off/Great British Baking Show
-Face Off
-Alone
-Shorsey
-There's also an anime/manga list available for anyone interested in basing a story off of one together.
That's all I've got for everyone thanks for stopping by!
