Abilities: As a dhampire, Kaleb has most of the same powers as a vampire, including enhanced strength, agility, speed, cognition, and healing, but he does not have the ability to drain the blood or life force of mortal humans, and does not have many magical powers beyond sensing vampires and causing them physical pain while in their presence. (The latter can be 'turned off' if he wants to.)
Personality: Kaleb is somewhat reserved, and enjoys scholarship and puzzles. On a deeper level, he has a desire to aide those who have been affected by the undead as he has, and to prevent the undead from harming others.
Backstory: Kaleb was born to a human mother and vampire father. Though his mother raised him for the most part, they were both kept prisoner by his father, who sought to subjugate humanity by breeding an army of half-vampires that had vampiric powers without the weaknesses. At a young age, Kaleb recruited his brothers and sisters to help him overthrow their father. After a quick success, the band of dhampire siblings set about hunting other undead and monsters. More recently, Kaleb has decided that vampire hunting is ineffective, and the only way to prevent undead from harming mortals is to help them find another way.
