HISTORY
Christy was born and raised in Laurel, MS. Being the oldest of three, she had taken it upon herself to be the good older sister to her younger siblings, one brother and one sister, twins. More so, giving they had been born sickly. The, not so silent, protector, she saw herself whenever children in the neighborhood tried picking on them. However, when she turned thirteen, the twins being seven, her younger brother disappeared. For weeks her parents searched. Neighbors, police helped with the search. And, eventually, it tore her family apart. Her parents blaming each other for her little brother's disappearance. Had she not had permission to visit a friend that day, she might have been blamed as well. The arguments leading her parents into divorcing a year later and her mother gaining sole custody of her and her sister.
They soon moved to Louisiana, to Baton Rogue, where she completed high school. Due to both her brother missing years before and her sister being of poor health, it only made her protective. Not just of her sister, but of any who were picked on, bullied, or just needed help. "Mama Bear Christy" she was called in school. A title she took very seriously. And, being the perfectionist she was, she was often hard on herself as well, just to achieve the levels, the goals, she had put upon herself.
When she finally graduated high school, although she did not make valedictorian, she was still happy for the one who had. Someone she had helped all through high school had managed to out do her in academic standings. She and this other girl, who became her best friend, agreed to attend college in New Orleans. They both were accepted and they made arrangements to share a dorm room together. The first two years were filled with regular college life, but on the third year, Christy's friend vanished. Although not before mentioning something about a motorcycle gang she had been spending time with. For the last few months, Christy has been trying to figure out what happened to her friend. She lost her brother so many years ago. His body never found, recalling what it did to her family. She could not go through this again.
