She was born Cassandra Rayne but once she started school she was called "Cassie" by her family and friends. She was number 1 in her class and the school president. Some might call her a nerd or bookworm but one wouldn't dare. For one she was too popular for the titles. And her very best friend (YC) wouldn't let anyone open their mouth to even say the words. If they did they would either end up with missing teeth or some broken bones. (YC) and Cassie had been best friends since they became next door neighbors. They have always been just friends but Cassie hid her feelings from (YC). She's had a crush on (YC) since 5th grade (YC) a little bit older than her. She's in 10th grade and (YC) going to be a senior next year. (YC) have his own activities going on but he always had time for Cassie. But she had no idea how to come out and say anything about her feelings. Cause before she knew it he would be going off to college.
One day after school Cassie and (YC) were walking home from school. Cassie was nervous cause she wanted to confess her feelings. But she couldn't find the courage. Even after her female friends encourage her all day. She still was too scared to tell (YC). What if he laughed at her? Or what if he rejects her and has someone else in mind? She was so scared that she would be turned down in some kind of way. (YC) notices you acting weird and asking what's wrong. But before she answered they looked ahead seeing a light suddenly appear. Before they knew it the light turned into like tear. It slowly opened and they both were pulled in. They both fell for what seemed like forever through some light tunnel. Getting to the end they fell down on the hard floor of a large room. The room wasn't just a room as they both got up slowly rubbing on their butts that they landed on. It looked more like the inside of a cathedral. The ceiling was high with a large crystal in the middle of the room. The floor was all white tiles and the walls were made like stone. They both looked at each wondering where they had ended up. They knew they weren't in their own world anymore.
