What I'm like as a partner

I'm a woman over 21. I've been roleplaying for as long as I can remember, and have been part of the Sanctum for about six years.

I'm naturally very direct and that translates into my writing. I'm trying to increase my word count without feeling like I'm writing filler, but currently average around 600 words. Of course, my responses vary depending on where the plot is (ex: dialogue-heavy posts will be shorter/story setups will be longer).

I'm a big planner. As much as I wish I could just go with the flow, I loooove getting invested in the details and creating a (flexible) storyline.

What I'm looking for in a partner

I'm comfortable writing with other 21+ women.

I'm hoping to have fun and improve my writing, so I'd love to write with people around my level/a bit better than me. Feel free to stalk my page for writing examples.

I'm not picky on your post length so long you give me something to work with.

Life is crazy. I totally understand if you can't post for extended periods, but I'd appreciate a heads-up. I also tend to get very excited about my active stories, so if you decide you're no longer interested please let me know so I can stop scheming about them hahaha. I promise I won't be offended!

My memory is terrible, so if you're willing to do a basic character sheet that's always helpful.

What I'm looking for in a story

ROMANCE. <3 All my stories center around it and I love being as dramatic as possible within the context of the story.

I prefer MxF pairings and usually write from the male perspective, but I can happily do either.

I'm not very good at writing smut so I tend to keep it minimal. I'm very story driven but will use smut when it makes sense.

Before we jump in, I like to have a general plot outline and basic character sheets. That's not to say I'm not flexible -- I love to discuss subplot ideas/details along the way -- but I like to have an idea of where the story will go and something to reference for basic information.

In the tabs below, I've included plot ideas as well as my favorite settings, tropes, and pairings. All ideas are just a starting point; I'm happy to modify any of them to reach an idea we're both happy with!

I'm also always interested in building a story from scratch or taking a look at your plot ideas.​

• Anything action/danger based -- political, military, mafia, dystopian/fantasy, superhero world, etc

Pairings

• Power Imbalance -- celebrity x normie, rich x poor, royalty x commoner, small age gap, etc
• Opposites -- good girl x bad boy, grumpy x sunshine, etc
• "Forbidden" Pairings -- kidnapper x kidnapped, criminal x law enforcement, brother x sister's best friend, Romeo x Juliet, etc — lots of range with this one!

Plot: Hunting the Hunter

MC hadn't seen FC in years and he hoped he never would again, but he's forced to retrieve her when the King receives word that FC has been captured in the outskirts of their country. After all, MC is one of the best officers of the country FC betrayed. He'd been on duty when the only woman he'd ever let his guard down for shot the Queen, and then disappeared without a word.

FC has been on the run since the day she killed the Queen. In her defense, she'd been aiming for the King. It wasn't her fault his wife stepped in the way. Had her shot landed, this fight to survive would be worth it. When that fight ends in a prison cell, she knows what fate awaits her. What she didn't expect was for FC to be leading the team sent to escort her, looking very different from the man she'd known before.

The journey back to the capitol is as long as it is dangerous. FC is forced to rely upon MC for protection from his fellow officers, despite him being the only one with a personal vendetta against her. He doesn't know why he bothers keeping their hands and weapons off of her, but he tells himself it's because she's his to hurt.

Like all my plots, details can be figured out between us and I have no problem with adjusting. Happy to add fantasy elements and/or go dark with this one.

Plot: For One Night Only (craving this one!)

MC can track the amount of time he's been infatuated with FC down to the day. While that sounds impressive, it would actually be more difficult for him to forget, considering it's FC’s “friend anniversary” with his brother — who’s hopelessly in love with her.

FC has had the same best friend since high school. She's disliked his older brother, MC, for just as long. He's moody, disarming, and just rude enough for it to pass. Oh, and now that he’s in a famous band everyone else adores him.

FC and MC don’t see each other outside of the rare family events he shows up for, and both of them are perfectly content with that. That is, until FC's best friend suffers an identity crisis that results in her reluctantly agreeing to travel with him on MC’s tour.

To her horror, FC finds herself growing increasingly attracted to MC, despite her disdain his attitude and the stereotypical rocker lifestyle he appears to live.

The one night they spend together is a mistake and they both know it, but that doesn't make it any easier to make it through the remainder of the tour without making the same mistake or letting their secret slip to his brother. Especially when FC's reasons for hating MC begin to slowly disappear as she discovers he isn’t what she thought.

Content warning: MC will have spent his life struggling with mental illness and suicidal ideation, and his bad habits are secretly his way of coping.

Like all my plots, details can be figured out between us and I have no problem with adjusting.
