Hi! I'm Angie (pronouns she/they), I'm a writer and student-- I've been telling stories for about as long as I can talk, and started roleplaying pretty much as soon as I had access to the internet. I don't roleplay as much these years, so I may be a little rusty, but I've been planning on getting back into it.
I'm fine with any pairing types-- I especially love FxF but I also like MxM. I write less FxM, but I'm totally open to it! (Especially if the characters have non-traditional gender roles). I also love to write trans and non-binary characters!
I'd also be happy to create stories without romance. I like to write character-driven stories, and with relationships at the forefront-- but those relationships don't always have to be romantic.
I'm totally fine with suggestive/mature topics, flirting and fade-to-black sex scenes, but I don't personally write smut.
On the other hand, I love gore. It's definitely not necessary, and I'll always abide by my writing partner's boundaries, but if you're interested in a horror-centric roleplay, please let me know. I love exploring darker themes, but it's important that they're done with respect and care. In my experience with horror, sometimes less is more.
My replies tend to be on the longer side! I generally try to match my partner's length, and I like having a good amount of material to work with. I struggle with ADHD and am often very busy, so there may be periods where I'll obsessively respond quickly, and periods where I'll respond very rarely. Please be patient with me.
I don't typically write in fandoms. It's not a hard and fast rule, but I prefer working with original characters and settings. That said, I'm open to roleplaying within the worlds of pre-existing properties-- I just prefer to write my own characters than to roleplay existing characters.
I'm pretty open to anything, genre-wise. I love sci-fi, fantasy, and horror, as well as realistic and slice-of-life. I also love some good historic fiction Feel free to shoot me any ideas you have. That said, I'll throw out a few ideas, though don't feel confined by them.
- I'd love to do a roleplay set in a comics-inspired superhero world. It can be light-hearted and genuine or edgy and satirical (I do love a good edgy superhero takedown, especially when done well.) Specifically, I want to roleplay as the "guy in the van" (not necessarily a guy), the non-powered sidekick who advises the superhero through a headset. aka superhero x unpowered sidekick
- I love a good sci-fi story. It might be fun to do one about two robots who develop sentience and collectively rebel from their oppressive pre-determined roles.
- A fantasy story about a princess and her guard/knight (I'd prefer to play the princess), especially wlw, would be wonderful.
Anways, I'm super open to suggestions. I'm new here, but I'm super excited to start! Don't be a stranger-- feel free to PM me if you're interested.
