Alright so here is this (hopefully) final request thread.
I tend to make a new one each time I have a specific idea, but I realize that makes things weird and complex. So here is where I will continually edit and add all my requests.
I tend to make a new one each time I have a specific idea, but I realize that makes things weird and complex. So here is where I will continually edit and add all my requests.
First, a few rules!
- All site rules apply, I will not break any of them.
- I don't do one liners. I am trying to become a published author and as such I like to practice 'my craft' =^.^= Not to say that all my posting and replies with be extremely long, I just like more meaty replies.
- I will only do MxM. It just feels more fun to write for me for rps. Character relationships can become more complex and balanced, somehow. MxF just feels boring to me, sorry XD
- Roles. I know many people like to assign their characters specific roles [Top, Bottom, Dom, Sub, ect.] And although I am totally okay with that, I feel like people are more complicated than their labels. That being said I can do either roles rather well, but I will request to play a role if I have been constantly asked to play the other and am getting a little overloaded.
- Rate of Reply. I have a very busy day-time schedule, so I can not always be on, and if I have a lot of rps I may not always get to everyone in the same day. {which is why I will only be taking a few partners on for right now} However, you can expect that I'll be on a couple times a week, and if those nights are good for me I'll be replying multiple times a night. SO in short at the very least you will get a couple replies within a week.
- OOC Chat. I like to discuss with my partners some basic details, more chat depends on what sort of world were creating. World building is one of my favorite things to do, so you can expect I may want to chat a bit before we get started. But I do also enjoy a bit of character mystery at the same time.
I love all genres and most pairing but there are a few I'm seeking and a few I would really rather not do because of how often I see them done. I'll try to keep it simple, but please bare with me.
Some of the Genres I like:
Medieval settings - I know a bunch of random information about medieval times so I can get pretty serious
Fantasy - anything goes
Magic[ - from fairies to shooting fire balls
Sci-Fi - Though I'm not that practiced in writing it
Supernatural - from angels to vampires
Plots
The Characters in this color Are the roles I'd like to play
And the Character in this color Would be my partner.
But this is not set in stone. So if you want roles flipped, just ask.
A/B/O Plots
~Yes, Yes, I know. "But RUBY~ this has been done and done and done again! ITS too cliched, why?" hahah well, I'll tell you why. Because I was inspired by something I read and it was utter perfection and I would love to recreate it in my own light, and actually continue it onwards! XD hahaha I am needy writer >.>~
The base idea I want to work with is this; An alpha and Omega are bounded through non-conventional means. {I mean the alpha is all but forced to give a bonding mark to the omega} But almost right after they are separated for a long length of time. A few months, a year, maybe a few years. I don't care how long. The longer the better.
As time passes this bond between the alpha and omega should have died, no attention it would fade away. But this particular Alpha is obsessive to say the least, he will not let the bond die, even if they can't be in the same room.
Which is where the particular element that I loved comes into play. A bond this strong the two bonded mates can feel every emotion their mate is feeling. Wakeness, fear, joy, anxiety, hunger. Everything. They're bond almost lets them speak telepathically but its not so much words as it is this overwhelming emotion. All consuming really.
There are so many places this could go so I have a few ideas ready
1. The Alpha is a criminal of some sort, maybe a hardcore stalker, maybe a serial killer, or what ever. Either way he targets young female omegas. (of course keeping it all 18 and up) So lets say normally an Omega presents around 18, and that male omega's are the rare of the rarest. Character A has gotten away with his crimes for a little while so far, but when he begins to target a few of the females around Character B-the male omega- Character B starts to catch on.
This could go on as a game of tag almost, Character B thwarting Character A for every move and making sure his friends stay safe. Only to be targeted by A himself, perhaps in a crazed confrontation A decides to kill B and cover it up by making it look like a frenzied killing. In the heat of things he bites B on the neck (where the bonding marks are made) and things do a 180.
From there A could either be caught and go to prison or A could manage to run away and tries to stay away so not to get put away.
Either of these options could be a wonderful cluster fuck, with the unintended bonding and now the distance between them. It could be wonderfully dark and delicious XD
2. A male omega in an Omega house (somewhere meant to raise and nurture young omega's for richer Alpha's who become their mates.) who hasn't presented yet feels a strange pull towards to the newest seeking Alpha. In a tangled mess of many laying factors they aren't meant to twine together, however neither can stay away. When things go bad the house tries to sell character B-the omega- to another very rich very horrible Alpha. Character A -the alpha- tries to stop it, and perhaps to save him he gives Character B a bonding mark to protect him.
This is an old plot of mine that I have wanted to play with for a loooooong time, so I have a lot more details on this one and would love to find a partner for.
Medieval/Fantasy
1. I had this idea of a youngish prince who is married off to a foreign king (a customs that in this world is not odd). However the plot does not center around the prince and king, instead it focuses on character A and Character B. A is a retainer to the young prince, a tutor and brother if you will, he takes care of the prince and has practically raised him. So naturally he goes along with the Prince when he is married off. Character B can be anyone of the Kings closest men, which ever roles have power but also trust. The plot will be played like its in the side lines, and we can also write a bit of the prince and king, but they are the true side characters. Character A and Character B are also older, have to be older than 25-27. I'd like a small age gap between A and B as well.
2. Character A is the son a farmer. In a country where crops are their main export there are many farmers who supply the crops needed to quantify the desirable amount. However, even still there are many farmers who fight over land, and 'war' with each other. During the dry seasons crops are low and money with all the royal families are tight as well, the feuding between farmers is always greatest during this time. Two families in particular have never really got along well as they hold the largest farms below the mountains. Things in the last few years have been particularly bad.
Until that dry season when Character A's mother comes up with a plan, a truce of sorts, seeing as things aren't looking too good for all the citizens. However when details are discussed the best both families can come up with is a marriage between the families.
{Alright, some people would say: "well, in 'real medieval times' a marriage between two males isn't something that they do." This is where I say I like to bend rules}
Either we can say that the only two eligible options were character Aand Character B the oldest son's of both families. Or we can say that gay marriage is fine in this made up world.
3. Character A is the only child of a loving, but elderly couple. Perhaps a little more 'upper class', but not quite nobles. His Father - maybe not really his parents - is dying, and desperately wants to make sure his son is looked after. Some way or how this turns into gifting his hand in marriage to an older bachelor Character B. Who for his own reasons has the need for a fake bride. So to him it does not matter that Character A is a male.
Smuttier Plots 50%-50%
1. Character A is a younger male (between 20-25) who is forced into less than appealing circumstances. Meaning, he is roped into selling his body as the only means to keep himself and his family alive. He is wildly inexperienced and very exocitcally beautiful, so it makes him very popular very quickly. Character B never meant to take such a liking to the newest addition to the male selection. (whether he be someone who owns the building in which these -interactions- take place, or whether he is a high paying customer himself).
At first Character A and Character B do not get the chance to be together. Meaning the first couple times Character A is taken to a bed by a paying customer, it will not be with Character B. To create the drama and tension between them. And maybe even Character B has to watch Character A get 'taken' by some of these other men. It is only when their feelings and attraction to one another are far too strong to be denied that they actually act on any of their feelings. But by this time Character A is basically owned by the people who run this 'whore house' so he can't simply leave.
Sex and Drama. That is the theme.
However, it could be placed anywhere; medieval/fantasy, modern/slice-of-life/Even something with more beast like characters. Maybe Character A isn't completely human which makes him even more desired by others.
Inspirational things
I have some images that inspire plots and ideas, so I'll share them in case anyone gets inspired too
I also have a list of Characters that some of them need partners and lots of love
