Warm greetings, I am Aqua and I seek to discover and explore a world with another to drown myself in willingly. I don't have a set gender though I must say I am capable of interchanging between male and female dependent on the contents of our adventure. In particular I am craving a dark romance and before you make any assumptions, I certainly know what I am desiring from it and would love a chat or two before divulging how dark this romance can and would be. Though there isn't to say that I won't drop a few pearls of advice on the topic of where I want this to go or where it could go with certain plots. I don't want something so short that one could blink and miss the fun, nor do I want it tediously long that natural tensions and intrigues fade like one's footprints on the sands. I want it as balanced as my partner and I can make it while also noting we aren't living in a vacuum and events shall arise to add that flavor to prolong a worthwhile story.
I have been writing since I was in high school as a freshman on various other sites that exposed me to the thrill of a good story that I could invite one or more along to traverse a world of our dreams or nightmares. I started out solo before eventually coming to write with groups in a large setting though I will note, the worlds and charas were fantastical but never lasted long enough for such investment so I prefer one on one to limit the pitfalls of those situations. Generally I favor stories with a medieval, feudal era or asian inspired backdrop & rules with fantasy, magical/mythical/supernatural and sometimes Wuxia theme and every so often modern with a twist if interesting enough.
My replies range between 500-1200 I would say dependent on the scene itself as well as any dialogue that may be occurring. I am a descriptive where I feel it matters most in a post and not just because I can describe the multiple colors on a single tree and its bark composition. I love detail as far as setting a tone, scene or even giving hints or ideas to bounce off of as the narrative is building for my partner to latch onto or note for their own response. Sort of like when children learned to respond back by repositioning the question into their response to demonstrate comprehension. I want my post to elicit not just one feeling or a mere response, I want it to be a tango of emotions, thoughts and individuality expressed so that both parties are into what's happening. Ah, as far as matching or trying to meet my quota, that's not necessary, I write the way I do because it's comfortable and I expect the same from you. All I ask is that you keep the narrative running though single lines or minimal effort will not give me anything to work with. I can respond at the minimal 2x a week with multiple posts in that time range. I don't mind waiting, RL comes first and things happen, but please shoot me a quick PM if things proceed to stretch the wait.
I have a high tolerance for violence and just as high for gore. It is part of nature after all though I can easily make it mild to nonexistent but it would be a bit boring if there was no violence within the story. Though it doesn't have to be between the characters, there could be depictions of certain violence as part of a traumatic past (within reason), witnessing said violence to another or etc. There's ways around violence if one doesn't want to experience it or be the perpetrator. It could merely play its own part within the narrative like if there's a war, then that fits.
I do write sexual content and I can be descriptive within reason about the encounter to fade to black though I would like certain scenes of import to be acted out as it should represent more than the act itself but the alterations in mindset, interest, dynamic change and a specific shift in story. It would satisfy more than the base pleasure of two or more entities joining as repeated, same actions serve little to no purpose within the story. I am not interested in smut-centric as the story rarely evolves or lasts and the investment is low. Even if there is a potential long-standing story with interesting charas and themes, experience shows me that some would rather play in the sand all day. My kinks revolve mostly around bondage and masochism for the contents of the story. Further details can be discussed within PMs to assess each other's interest first. As far as limits, no bathroom shenanigans.
I've never been interested in fandoms to alter their stories or insert myself, so I don't write of them. I don't mind inspirations but to be in their world specifically or anything like that? Just doesn't interest me when I have a lot of ideas.

Some stories require more and will take it out of the individual and that's fine but I don't want to feel left out when you're stretching yourelf thin, no fair to either of us. I like to keep my conversations contained only within the confines of our story-making but I am not against other conversation, as long as it doesn't deviate too much. I will not leave here to RP elsewhere since I did make a forum after all. One more thing, please be honest with yourself most importantly. Social convention is nice but know what you want and speak your mind. You not agreeing with everything I say or wanting to make alterations is not a negative thing, express yourself sincerely and understand that if I am not your type/fit vibe-wise, just say so. Sometimes a story sounds great but I may not be what you're aching for and that's perfectly fine. I really wish everyone to hear me when I say this, it is not that serious. For a century or perhaps more, the Elven-Human Conflict bubbled to the surface and threatened to tear the continent asunder with the violence and bigotry between the species. The humans were greedy and defiled the lands they lived on until they continued to demand more as their population continued to grow unbound and uncontrollably while the Elves kept to their own lands for the most part. The Sun Elves were a median between the races as a whole but soon it couldn't be contained as humans went unaccounted for when they trespassed into the Moon Elves territory and the vitriol exploded. Elves and humans lost much and many in their skirmishes but it was obvious that even with their longevity, skills and tactics, the Elves were dying at a faster rate than they could replenish while humans seemed to be everywhere. Then war between the elves and humans evolved where not all elves were being targeted by the short lives anymore, the Sun Elves turned to the short lives and even presented one of their royal daughters as a bargaining chip to the main human kingdom to begin their alliance and prevent their own extinction. It seemingly came out of nowhere as it appeared the Sun Elves had been conquered but no, they supplicated to the might and ferocity of the short lives to be considered secondary citizens and even potentially interbreed with them. Now the Moon Elves alone held the war and hatred of the short lives now coupled with their once allies giving away secrets to eradicate them or perhaps have them conquered by the new, dominant power and species of the continent.
Things hadn't always been easy or nice but at least one wouldn't be fooled by what was occurring in nature. Everything for the most part was a learning lesson in surviving to thriving when it came to the harsh climate and wild beasts of the tundra, but that was what made living so thrilling. You had your clan and they had you, but there was something not quite right in the sparse woodlands as of the past week. The wildlands were eerily quiet, the wind carried an unfamiliar smell and the tension began to build within the humble village as no one wanted to speak a curse upon their lives. It was undeniable and unmistakeable as a conflict would arise, though what form it would take or how it would forever alter one's existence couldn't even be foreseen for the seers had sequestered themselves to best guide the village and advise if it was time to prepare for combat or leave. Unfortunately, they would be too late to dispense their sage words and all would be lost or fractured once the invaders came and did their damnedest to destroy, conquer or despoil all they have ever known or will ever know again.

Perhaps a tyrant (YC) has usurped the throne in an unscrupulous but "legal" manner and seeks to establish their lineage quickly and wrest control from the unfortunate remaining heiress (MC) of said kingdom before ensuring they would have no other to follow their footsteps as well as the dominance to secure their position regardless of the Royal Council and their outdated, slow methods.

Now reminded that she is indeed female and somehow vulnerable despite the affection, power and popularity she wields and how her courtiers look to her respectfully. Now she (MC) must contend with a rival empire that is intent on invading her whether she wants them to or not, no matter the manner they will attempt to do so. The choice is not so simple even if she wishes to send her people into war against a sizeable and similar empire such as her own. Their (YC) terms are either align with them via marriage and become the superpower of the continent to dissuade invaders from other lands and take their people into a golden age unlike their historians have seen or be plunged into war and conquered and reduced to below them as a second state controlled by them completely. Rendering their empress little more than a puppet and slave to the victor's whims, no matter how heinous or unbecoming. Such a term wouldn't be so ghastly if the rival emperor wasn't known to be cruel, power-hungry or even simply unpleasant as their short but impactful meetings always left her with a sour taste in her mouth those years ago when they both became of age to rule their empires.

Though she keeps her meetings short, there is one suitor (YC) who unnerves her the most as he would most certainly cause a scandal and then double down as he seeks the Queen for his own devices. It is hard to know if he would be any better than the barbarian king and his kin in the mountains to take over her kingdom

The humans and Fae have a tenuous and uncomfortable treaty with one another with the Fae only requesting respect and due diligence when it comes to passing through their lands, but the humans always seeming to want to alter the treaty every few years or so. Even with this, both sides have stuck to non hostility and more or less to themselves with the Fae everwatching and the humans doing as they please to not get caught doing something worse. Something would change that as one day, a trophy hunter didn't wish to be bound to such arbitrary rules and did as they wished until they trespassed against something or someone that even the Fae respected or at the very least showed a bit of reverence to. This hunter, against the warnings of a helpful but annoyed Fae, went further than they should've and caught themselves a rare golden stag, dragging it back to their domicile in town to much revelry and awe from their kin but this was their own undoing. The hag of that forbidden forest observed the human out of mild curiosity before seeing their crime and set to curse them for their trespass and hubris, finding it best to curse them to an eternal bloodlust. Leading to said individual transforming out of their control into a wild beast driven by their instincts and perhaps seeking the aid of the Fae that had bothered to warn them, though that is easier said than done as the Fae avoids humans.

Many decades have come and gone since the Noble house of Ashenvale took dominance over the current politics and behavior of the nest of vampires within their lands. Governing with an iron fist and fear to keep their thralls and lesser houses under their control for lest one would surely be consumed by them in a violent swarm. Ashenvale pioneered and tweaked the system of guards and pets that were much more durable and controllable than thralls who were just humans pets chomping at the bit to become one of them with little to show for their efforts to be rewarded. No, instead they used their very own mortal enemies to guard and defend them from hunters, other weres and bloodthirsty lesser houses that didn't know their place. Intentionally kidnapping orphans, making orphans, destroying outlier towns and siccing a strong but silver collared werewolf to turn their newly collected specimens into dependable and worthwhile beasts of burden to serve them. Even ensuring that the best of their group would be bred to reduce the amount of times they would need to raid as it tended to bring more trouble quicker than later. Carefully separating the males and females and tending to them so that loyalty was assured and little to no risk of an uprising occurred, and if it did, they would make a show of such a quelling by making it entertainment for themselves and their supporters. She (MC) watches with a bit of displeasure at these barbaric displays but it is necessary when the workforce is reduced so much and they lose time to raid and retrain more werewolves. Though she has no time to question this tradition since it will be her turn like her sisters before her, to attempt to produce a cambion to strengthen their lineage and perhaps push them past the current branch of vampire to nosferatu or greater. Greater things are at foot as Ashenvale has devious ambitions for the mortal realm and their offspring shall lead the way with an army of loyal weres to defend. Unless (YC) can get close to the heiress (MC) and spoil Ashenvale's ambitions by either removing her from the equation or claiming her himself to secure his freedom and destroy the dynasty and its sordid rule.
