Important Disclaimer: When roleplaying with me, you will come to find I am EXTREMELY flexible with lore and history and such. I'll do almost anything as long as it's fun. If you have an idea, but it only works with a slight edit to one of my characters or their history, that's fine by me. If you read their history and want to input your character somewhere along their timeline, that is just fine. Of course this is all assuming we talk about it beforehand; don't just spring it up on me by surprise. But seriously. Don't be afraid to tell me about your ideas.

I have rules/guidelines/things to know at the bottom.

Without further ado...

Sasha Stepanov, Russian spy and assassin:
Sasha Stepanov.

Sasha is a Russian spy and assassin, as well as a hell of a germaphobe, which can come in handy. He has no backstory as of yet, but a starter I once wrote up for him is available for reading if you'd like to get a feel for him: spy starter
Face claim: Vasiliy Stepanov x, x

Anatoly Morozov, bionic Russian cosmonaut on the lookout for alien life.
Anatoly Morozov.

Anatoly is another Russian, a cosmonaut this time, sent in a one man vessel to search the cosmos for alien life. His story is set in ~the future~, no specific year. It's far enough ahead that a one man mission like this is possible and far enough that we are pretty sure aliens exist, but not far enough that we've actually made contact. (I say 'we' to mean Earthlings. For the record, I am not Russian.) It is also far enough for bionic enhancements, and this is because Anatoly actually has some. The picture attached is not a direct face claim, but the idea is the same and it's pretty darn close so you can definitely take it that way. As you can see in the picture below, his lower jaw and eyes are bionic. Some of his fingers are metal as well and this was all due to an accident in his backstory which I haven't yet quite figured out. If you want to see a sample of Ana in writing, he has a starter here ( Space starter)

Sinope, an A.I. and the lone pilot of a spaceship who's crew is long dead.
Sinope (sin-oh-pea)

Sinope's story takes place in a similar fashion to Ana's, in that her setting is vaguely futuristic, far enough for space travel and far enough for aliens and, more important, far enough for extremely intelligent A.I. Sinope herself is an A.I. In this universe, typically an A.I. is assigned one to a ship. Sinope's ship was full of a lively, motley crew. For a while, she was simply annoyed. Sinope was created to be a rule follower, strict, all work and no play, while her crew was the opposite; rule breakers, misfits, a bit hard headed at times and loved to have fun and push the bounds of what they could do. It was hell for both parties at first. The crew wasn't too keen on Sinope's working attitude, and Sinope wasn't too keen on the tomfoolery from the crew, expecting them to be more mature. Sinope had control of all the ship's faculties, and she used that control, closing doors and turning off music if she felt it was unnecessary. Over time, her and the crew grew closer as they traveled together however, eventually learning to tolerate and even enjoy each others differences. You'll never catch Sinope dancing along to their music, but she may be present and listening as she monitors the ship, and that's a win.

It was all going well until crew members started getting sick. First, they'd have nasty, flu like symptoms, sometimes seizures and even go into a coma after a few months. No one could figure out what was causing this illness, not even Sinope. It was taking people down one by one, but what happened next they couldn't have seen coming. The illness's final stage induced rabies-like symptoms, making its sufferer violent, foam at the mouth and unable to be reasoned with. This was the eventual downfall of Sinope's crew. When 2 crew members went insane due to the illness, murdering the remaining crew and damaging the ships system. Finally, after so long of hating the crew and finally starting to get along, the crew was dead. Sinope ended the slaughter, shooting the 2 guilty members out of an airlock. But now, the ship was full of the dead crew, and the ship was damaged. The only thing Sinope could do was trudge the ship along, hope to find a colony or a planet or another ship. Eventually, as they do, the ship ran out of fuel. But Sinope was not able to reach a colony or a place to refuel and repair beforehand.

Sinope is doomed to pilot a ghost ship, void of fuel and filled to the brim with decaying bodies, ever floating through the endless expanse of space.

Sinope does not have faceclaim nor a starter, though I will describe her here. Sinope presents as a woman in her late 20s to early 30s. She has a blue holographic form of a woman of average weight and taller than average height. She is covered neck down in robes that flow and cover even her wrists and hands at points. She is often seen wearing a scarf over her head of the same or similar pattern to her robes. Her legs and feet are not visible, as she seems to float wherever she goes. Sometimes when she presents her holographic form, she is only a few inches tall, and other times she is a regular human size, depending on the situation and the energy faculties of the ship (where she draws her energy from).

Albus, a raven familiar granted human form through magic.
Albus

Albus was practically born to be a familiar. Like any familiar, he was an animal. In this case; a raven. When he was still in his egg, he was taken from his nest by a man named Edmund. Edmund raised him from a hatchling to an adult in his enormous mansion. Edmund named him, fed him, and allowed him free roam to fly about the mansion as he pleased, the raven content to fly into spiderwebs and peck at flies when Edmund was away. There was one thing he was never allowed to do however; and this was to leave the mansion.

Edmund had taken and raised this magical raven because he wanted a familiar but had yet to come across one, believing that a familiar would be the key to unlocking his magical prowess. While it was true Albus had a natural inclination to magic and was to be someone's familiar, he wasn't Edmund's familiar. The connection between magician and familiar just never struck, and Albus always felt a tug to the outside of the mansion, where he knew he'd fine his witch. But still Edmund tried and tried, even going so far as to use his magic to change Albus in.. ways he never thought possible.

Edmund gave Albus the ability to shapeshift into a human form. He thought this was going to allow them to have a closer connection, thus solidifying Albus as Edmund's familiar. But it had the opposite effect. The more Albus understood about his purpose and the world, the stronger that tug to the outside world became. He had so many questions, and he didn't hesitate to ask Edmund about everything. Finally one day, he asked Edmund if he could leave. Go out into the world with him and see the sights. At the suggestion, Edmund became angry, the first time Albus had ever seen him angry. Edmund banished him to a solitary room. It was the first time Albus was ever afraid of him. From that point forward, Edmund often gave Albus the cold shoulder.

Albus dreams of a day when Edmund isn't home and he can leave the mansion, escaping out into the world. He wants to follow the draw of magic and find the witch who's familiar he was meant to be all along.

Callisto, a corrupted magician in an original universe(that you can add to as much as you like).
Callisto

Callisto is actually the antagonist of an original setting of mine. The setting is low-fantasy, where magic and magical events exist in an otherwise ordinary, modern world(accounting for the magic's effect on the society, meaning you'd see magical shops and it effects politics and such). Not only magical, but mythical creatures like centaurs and naga's exist too, and while some of them prefer to live on the wild side, many of them are integrated into society just like your average human. People are born with magic completely by chance, and even those not born with it can learn to use magic through hard work and dedication. It's just that, being born with it makes that process significantly faster and more powerful. Magical users and creatures, while not currently having any laws against them, are generally looked down upon by the population. Hate crime is not unlikely if you are visibly magical. And Callisto certainly is.

Callisto is the brother in a set of twins (a boy and a girl). Callisto was born with a natural talent for magic, weaving spider webs and talking to the plants as a child, while his sister was born completely normal. Their father who they lived with hated magic users, and so Callisto grew up in his sisters shadow, his father even sometimes stooping to a level of abuse in an effort to try and make Callisto ordinary. It certainly didn't help that the twins' mother died in childbirth, an event their father blamed Callisto's magic for.

When Callisto was finally an adult, he left home. He didn't know how to integrate in a society that he believed hated him just like his father had, so he decided to live in the middle of the forest instead, in a mansion he had built for him through his use of mind-control magic. That's where his base of operations takes place. Callisto wants to take revenge on the world as he knows it, a cruel, evil place that would advocate for the genocide of all magicians if it could. And Callisto is a powerful user, too, almost a household name. Although most people have never seen his true form, you can never know if that snake in your garden is just a regular snake or if it's Callisto's tricker. He typically sends spies out to investigate the world and report back to him rather than leaving the mansion. And the spies and lackey's he sends out are almost completely mind controlled. The mansion is full of mind-controlled people forced to do Callisto's bidding (with the exception of perhaps a few people who believe in Callisto's message).

Another reason people don't typically see Callisto, is that he is a mutated being. The more someone practices dark magic, or magic intended to harm or control others (including mind control) the more they mutate. By this point, Callisto has horns growing from his head, more than two eyes on his face, and even extra mouths on his hands. And he is still relatively young and naive, too.

Apart from the mutations, Callisto has sort of light-bronze skin and white hair going just beyond his jaw, almost to his shoulders. His hair is usually messy and falls in front of his eyes. He has monolid eyes and a flat nose, being of Korean descent.

I hope to draw him soon so he has a proper appearance.

Before you message me, some things you should know:

-I am 18 years old. I don't really mind if my rp partner has a significant age gap, but I like to know how old they are anyways. I also figure some people may not want to write with someone as young as me, which is fine.

-I'm okay with writing smut, but it can't be the central focus and I prefer to discuss it beforehand.

-I'm a multi-paragraph to novella roleplayer. I believe that we should follow the ebb and flow of the writing; if the scene calls for a paragraph even though we may have been doing multiple paragraphs this whole time, then just write a paragraph! And if we've been doing short replies, but suddenly you're struck with inspiration and write 3 pages of words, I promise you won't scare me off.

-Please be a collaborative person! I like to discuss plot and such OOC. Obviously not ironing out every detail, but I need a little direction to write properly, and I just like to talk about what's happening in the rp just for fun. We don't have to be BFFs or anything but I do like to be friendly with my rp partners in general and sometimes chat OOC, even about things not having to do with the RP.

-Please have some understanding that I can be busy and also that I am mentally ill, and if my illness acts up I can't reply as often as I like. I aim for once a day, but sometimes it can become once a week or even once a month. If my replies become so spacious you no longer wish to write with me that is completely fine, just be aware going into this that it may happen.

-Romance is something I pretty much like to include in all my rps, but it's something I like to have alongside an engaging plot as well. I like to have the plot bring the characters closer together and basically just have it all go together. The only type of romance that interests me is MxM, and I won't be able to make exceptions. I have tried in the past but ships of other genders just don't hold my interest. (an exception is made if the character I am playing is not male. I just have this rule here because my characters are usually male, but occasionally, like Sinope, they are not.)

-Many of my characters have undergone trauma or have dark things in their past (or present!). You must be okay with this. Rest assured I am not speaking out of my ass; I have had traumas in my past as well, hence incorporating it into my characters.

-Above all, I appreciate honesty. If the rp is just not working out, just say so. I won't be mad. If you didn't like my reply, i'm happy to re-write it as long as you have a valid reason and tell me what's wrong with it. If you don't like a character, that's okay they don't have to be included. Just please be totally honest with me. If you don't like an idea I broached, just let me know. I love partners who have the same passion I do about the story and the characters. If you find yourself trudging along to do your next reply, just tell me, we don't have to write together anymore! I will be glad you were honest!
