Cultists of the Shattered Mind​ gender age sexuality type alignment both any, usually 20s–50s assumed to be chaste humanoid neutral evil​ Why do they believe such nonsense? The Cult of the Shattered Mind has existed in some iteration or another for almost five hundred years. As the leadership of the cult changes, so to do their goals. The most current form of the cult has been mostly passive, and do not seem to engage in the same degree of kidnappings and other atrocities that they have historically engaged in. Some have said that this is because the cult is dying, but others have suggested that this is a far more concerning trend. The cult has a specific purpose now, and whatever machinations they are enacting are in service to the God of the Shattered Mind. Generally speaking, these cultists are more religious zealots without any real experience in combat and are broadly a nuisance more than they are a danger.
