All Curse of Strahd (D&D)

I am seeking 5 adventurers for a Curse of Strahd game

This will be rated for mature adults, and preferably with experience playing D&d 5e. This is not entirely newcomer friendly, but for the right player I may make an exception.

You will need to be literate, and willing to RP your character's responses. Voices and silliness included.

Strahd involves loss, love, horror, destruction, control, power and manipulation.



Game logistics are as follows.
You will need a D&D Beyond account, you will need Discord as well.
The game will be played as theater of the mind with minimal maps.
If you wish to apply, send me a message with your character's biography. A good, detailed background is best.
I am available to run this game on Mondays at 9pm to 12am EST.
I will go over rules in the next post.

1. Please don't assume, ask me.
2. All site rules apply.
3.Do not rules lawyer me. I will not be nice and you will not like me.
4. All characters must have some sort of motivation or drive to be in search of the Ravenloft. Either as a hunter, a seeker of power, or familial ties.
5. I, as the DM, reserve the right to excuse players from the campaign as I see fit. The purpose is for fun.
6. All welcome regardless of D&D experiences.
7. As all site rules apply, so do all site extracurriculars as well. The plot and story comes first, then the characters can come. (Pun intended)
8. TRIGGER WARNING: Mikki has a habit of torturing, cursing, raping, pillaging, and otherwise being a tyrant. If these are themes that make you uncomfortable, let me know so I can tone it down. Otherwise it's business as usual.
9. I am LGBTQ+ friendly.
10. I do not tolerate bullying between players, racial slurs, shaming, or any other acts of malice against other players. There's a difference if you have a very...close minded character, we can work on the character arc, however being ugly to each other, the players, will not be tolerated. You will be blacklisted from any further games I decide to host. No exceptions.
11. I do require my players to be literate in some way. Make an effort to clean up your spelling and grammar. I am not a nazi, but I do have issues with recurring typos and grammar mistakes. Please make an effort. Responses must be a minimum of 4 sentences (1 paragraph).

I played Curse of Strahd before, it was fun. The DM kinda screwed up and didn't have Strahd do the thing where he went back to his castle after appearing, and my character had a sun blade and scored what was effectively the killing blow. Or was it the amulet from the gazebo? Either way, I killed Strahd.
