Hello travellers!

Thank you for taking the time to stumble into my thread, and reading through the fantasy-rich content. All from writing tales of dragons and adventurers involving all manner of beasts, monsters, and ladies' noble or rags. With the most important piece romance and action are plenty in all my stories. Epic battle scenes of warring nations to the simpler things, when one disagreement turns into a tavern brawl!

A summary of myself as a writer, I've been around multiple sites roleplaying since I was 18, and I've always had a focus on medieval fantasy whether it is low or high. Recently I've gotten into DnD, mostly due to the game Baldurs Gate 3, and would love to create diverse worlds with storylines influenced by the very decisions of the main characters. I'm something of a world-builder, and lore fiend when given the chance.

I do enjoy discussing plots and important events throughout the story, however, I am also someone who goes with the flow for every post and sees where each interaction takes me.

As for replies typically 1-2 times a week, sometimes more depending on the workload that week so I might get busy to post beyond once a week when that happens.

I am also open to playing either FxM or FxF pairings, for FxM I'm more than happy to RP either the male or female role!

And now, the bard in me wishes to crack on with the plots and list of characters without a world to call their own.

Elements in RP that get the creative juices flowing, and those that do not.
RP Favorites
  • Fantasy in all shapes and sizes!
  • Medieval settings (The more action, and adventure the better)
  • Prophecy tropes
  • Water themes things like Atlantis and fighting sea beasts
  • Supernatural elements anything from witches and vampires working together, or a werewolf-based RP focused on pack dynamics.
  • Romance is at the top of all things but my most enjoyable trope is enemies to lovers, I love a good bit of pining and angst
  • The action I'm not one to shy away from combat scenarios or roaring trains with pistols flying over the heads of passengers. It's the glue to any good adventure
  • A guilty pleasure relic hunting

RP Dislikes
  • Smut - I like a solid ratio of 30/70 in terms of erotica/story
  • Any post less than 2 paragraphs posts, I'm a novel writer by heart but at minimum 2 paragraphs are a good balance (Word count 300+)
  • God-modding
  • Meta-gaming
  • Anime pictures I tend to prefer more realistic or models/celebrity face claims
  • Standard kink dislikes anything that belongs in the toilet, for everything else just ask!

Basic character concepts in need of a new home, they have no real plot assigned to them apart from their backstory. A handy starting point, which could be used as the foundation of a story or one to explore someone else's world/plot ideas. Pretty flexible gal's in more ways than one.

Midira's Grove: Last of the Druids (Craving)

Midira's Grove the very last sanctuary of the druids the old way of elvish kind's companionship with nature. Now, harbors what remains of history after the war between humans and Ork devastated their precious havens. Only a few hundred remain inside the vast woodlands holding the secrets of the druids. A peaceful place kept secret and hidden. Outside the walls, a different tale is woven as humans and Orks continue to battle fighting over land and the survival of their people. But mankind is losing the battle. With the shaman's magic weighing against them, Ork's proved too great to battle with simple human mages, limited by their connection to the planes of magic. Humans relied heavily on techno-magic, combining steel and the arcane, and a rare few hoped to rival the Ork's power. Yet Ork's were gifted with powers of the elements and wisdom of the ancestors. With the human world on the brink of destruction unknown to the Druids inside the Grove, a battle raged outside their woodland when a lone human was given entry. The grove opened for the survivor of the battle, wounded and in need of great care when a young druid found the human, intent on treating the human's wounds without the knowledge of the elders.

Themes: War, Medieval, Technomagic, Non-human races (Elves, Ork, and Fae) Viking Inspired, Pagan, Mage Battles, Enemies to lovers
Characters: For this, I'd be playing the druid, the human preferably would be noble born or royalty a prince or princess, but a common soldier might work too

Dark Chronicles

In the year 1850, in London, Britain the Church lost much of its power against the supernatural and grasp black magic. Now forced into hiding after the chronicles of Baldur and many powerful artifacts were stolen from within the ancient catacombs. The church had become a shell of its former power, becoming a secret society governed by the Church of England that spans its weakened influence across the globe. With new threats looming on the horizon, those still loyal continued the work of creating Dark Knights. Individuals touched by the abyss, half-human, half-demon a blessing and a curse as they alone can slay the demons risen from the seven circles of hell. They answer only to the church and no one else as they have full reign to eliminate the enemies of the church. In the dark scourges of undeath and demonkind lurk waiting for a gateway into the mortal realm. Each Knight is not solely alone standing beside them are Apostles, firstly known as acolytes until they go through the rite of Orman a fully-fledged cleric. With the sudden rise in demon activity, many Apostles lost their lives, forcing acolytes to take up their mantle in a state of emergency as an artifact long stolen resurfaced threatening to open one circle of hell on earth.

Themes: Action, Victorian, Dark Fantasy, Demons, Non-human races (elves, dwarfs, Orks, fae, custom races etc) Religion, Dimensions, Dante's Inferno Inspired
Characters: Dark Knight and a newly appointed acolyte. I'd like to play either role, the acolyte is more of a cleric type with minor sorcery elements.

Visions of Medea

A barmaid, a woman of simple means and future began having vivid dreams. Some were nightmarish others featured a disgraced spell slinger, drunk and always in the same tavern wasting away years behind ale. It all started when the mark appeared on her hand and the vision of a woman spoke to her with a task to find the mage who would aid in the removal of the mark. As the two would find themselves cursed with a short life, now faced with the clock ticking the woman and knight had to discover the hidden meaning behind the visions. In exchange, the curse granted them gifts a boon to help complete their task as they are connected to the witch's powers. The witch was not simply watching over their quest she would appear in the woman's dreams, and speak to her in a room full of strangers yet no one else saw the witch. Perhaps as a guide or to simply enjoy mocking the chosen pair on their path to completing the task at hand. The witch knew the journey would take the pair across the land and deep into the belly of a caged beast.

Themes: Adventure, Comedy, Action, Medieval

Characters: I'd be happy to play either role. (The spell slinger can be anything)

Path to Erebor

The creation of the Black Tower of Erebor so named by the first gifted founding father of sorcery. A haven for those who were born with the ability to wield the elements and command magic at will. But it was also created to guard those within as any gifted child or wielder of magic drew the attention of the Djin, seekers of magic. A type of shade that feeds on the essence of magic, forever drawing to its allure. The origins of the Djin remain a mystery only the Grand Master of Erebor understands the threat they pose. And any child that turns adult and displays powers is tracked down by the Magi or dream walkers as some call them, searching for those newly awakened. One such individual displayed powers and quickly the gifted found their world had changed forever. Yet hope remained as a Ranger found the gifted in the most unlikely place beginning their harrowing path to Erebor.

Themes: Adventure, Action, Medieval, High-Fantasy, Demons

Characters: I'd prefer the role of the ranger but I don't mind playing as the mage.

The Codex: Babylon's Reach (Craving)

A young woman, a freshman at University had spotted an old antique shop on her way to pick up books for her lectures. Drawn by the charm of the place and a fervent curiosity the young woman ventured inside. The owner greeted her like any other yet she found herself in the backroom scrying over the dusty novels and journals nestled in the bookshelf. One book titled Babylon's Reach is a tale of dragons and warriors riding the beasts defending the land against the brood mother of dragonkind awakened by the breach. Without thought, the novel was purchased and the first chapter was read before she fell asleep with the pages in hand. Only to find herself awakened in a meadow instead of her dormitory room, confused and frightened only to be shadowed by the body of a dragon. The young academic had only just realized she was no longer in London but running for her life as a clash of fire and scales raged above the treetops. The book she once held was long forgotten when it would become the only way for her to return home. And find herself entwined in a journey of love, bloodshed, and magic.

Themes: Dragon Riding, Bonded Dragon and Rider, Action, Medieval, High Fantasy, War, Politics, Magical Beasts
Characters: I don't have a preference between the Dragon Rider or the woman trying to get home.

The Apprentice and the Hourglass

Emperor Hul'Yong of the Four Winds had requested a new sword to celebrate his hundred-year reign as the immortal emperor. The famous weaponsmith Yamamura was appointed this task and his apprentice set to find all the ingredients to create the most impressive and godlike blade ever forged. As a weaponsmith, he held many secrets not all known to his apprentice until he showed his protege the hourglass. Gifted to him by a beautiful water spirit to travel between times so that they may meet whenever he so pleased. But he discovered it could be used to gather lost ingredients, some were of extinct creatures others simply impossible ingredients documented only once by alchemists. The hourglass was passed onto his apprentice so that he may find four ingredients to finish the blade. A Dragon's tooth, Breath of an Ice Troll, A ruby infused with the Grand Master's soul from a long-dead mage's guild. And, rare plants to empower the precious metals. To find some of these ingredients the apprentice travelled back 200 hundred years when the four realms were at war. The time of the Emperor's rise to power and tyrannical reign soon would come to pass. During this time ancient scrolls and scholars spoke of different clans of assassins that rebelled against the Emperor serving the people instead of their Country's royalty. History told they were destroyed but at this time they were very much alive. And the apprentice was soon to be at the tip of a poisoned blade.

Themes: Clans, Assassins, Soul Magic, War, Rebellion, Dragons
Characters: The assassin role is the one I'd prefer, but the apprentice would be fun also!

Gaslamp

A new and upcoming sheriff is assigned to the small town of New Haven, Texas. Out of the normal life of the folks in Haven, the Magi had resurrected an old coven in the red hills. Approved after Article 15, Orman Bill had passed allowing witches and warlocks to convince in the old ways. Any child born of magic would be taken in by a coven trained in the mystical arts to better serve mankind. It also gave them the freedom to be known to the public after a long battle to be considered citizens. Many folks of Texas disliked their presence. But New Haven saw no trouble caused since they did not meddle in non-magic affairs, but one evening, not a day after the sheriff arrived. A handful of Magi entered the town seeking the assistance of the sheriff. A sister had gone missing, potentially kidnapped by those anti-magic as a small portion of radicals were known to be violent against their kind. Their resurgence came after the Breach of 1825, magic flooded the world and brought steam inventions to a whole new level of industry and with it any child born after 1825 potentially developed powers of the divine or in some eyes the devil. The rise in magic brought with it a new crime as ordinary folk could use magic combined with devices. Making any sheriff's job a new kind of difficult. And with a missing sister witch, potential radicals in town life became more lively than ever.

Themes: Radicals, Religion, Action, Wild West, Guns, Steampunk, Magic, Crystals, Mysticism, Covens, Crime
Characters: I'd play as either the witch seeking her missing sister or the sheriff.

Eldor: Riders of Morkilon

The young Princess of Eldor had turned 18 years old with a full life of luxury and marriage ahead of her when the visions turned to nightmares depicting the Riders of Morkilon, Dragon Riders of the West. Her visions foretold that her journey was fated to find the last remnants of the Riders and join their ranks. When she told her father he refused to listen as she was to marry the Prince from across the dune sands, the riders were a fantasy that no longer existed after the great war. They had vanished from the land returning to their home of Corinth, when the evil of il'lok the devourer had sealed away it took armies to take him down, a beast so large his body shadowed kingdoms and caused Dragons to turn frenzied fighting one another. He infected the realms with the madness that still scarred the lands. Even her father ignored the signs, dark omens of diseased woodlands and disappearing villagers only to return with a sickness of the mind. The princess never spoke of it again even as the nightmares of horrific scenes from the past haunted her daily. Until a small hope entered the Capital of Eldor, a mercenary that brought great bounties to be collected. As a last hope, the princess dressed as a commoner and gave the guards a sleeping draft she used at night, slipping out into the lower city, in hopes to buy the mercenary's services as an escort to Morkilon. A treacherous path as her father would surely hunt her down and any enemies of the crown.

Themes: Dragon Riding, Prophecy, Romance, Warlords
Characters: I'd be happy to play either role

Send a DM if any plot or character is of interest, I'd also love to hear any of your stories and pairings of a specific genre/idea

Isles of Marrow

In the solitary Isles of Marrow, where no man dares venture a young woman is seen wandering the shores. No ships can approach as many meet an unsavory fate and no mortal has set foot on the white sands of Marrow. Until a sailor (or noble daughter/son) cast overboard came upon the celestial shores when the Vardon was attacked by pirates. A broad, tall ship of black sails and the devil's hook for a banner capturing souls and stealing plunder. The sailor exhausted and seeking food, shelter, and much-needed water to survive happens upon a temple, where a table of stocked fruits and meats is laid bare. The woman seen on the isle stops the stranger as the table is cursed, any who eat the food are forced to remain on the isle as a servant to a powerful enchantress who slumbers below. With the help of the stranger the woman might discover how to escape the isle of Marrow, and in doing so help the stranger home.

Themes: Forbidden Isle, Magic, Spirits, Possible Deities, Romance, Sea Combat, Pirates, Treasure
Characters: I'd prefer to play the Imprisoned Woman of the Isle, but will play the other role happily!

Dark Watchers

In the City of Argon Lords and Ladys ruled within the walls, protecting the citizens from both within the walls and outside invaders. A unique guard called the Dark Watchers was created from the devastation 50 years ago when a mage of blood magic attempted to destroy the ruling class of Argon, and with it the city itself until a group of adventurers stopped his plans from coming to fruition. The men and women of the group formed the first Watchers, fighting within the walls of corruption and all manners of magical influence. As within Argon the permission of Magic is limited to permits gained from the Academy of Polus.

Now 50 years on a sudden influx of illegal magic has entered the streets, creating a fear connected to the recreation of past events. Within the streets new Watchers sweep the streets, finding new and strange creatures of magic beginning to appear and a substance called Red Sand that turns those who take it into men of temporary rage. Many suspected the Watchers were not entirely human themselves, a rumor started by those in the slums.

And, there in the belly of Argon a Watcher of only a few weeks found undercover work inside a smuggling gang of relics trying to find the source of the city's problems...

Themes: City Setting with Potential to move into other areas of the world, High Fantasy, Action, Romance, Relic Hunting, Banned Magic and Supernatural
Characters: A Dark Watcher (Male or Female), a rogue of the gang, or a mage typically within the group or associated enough to be trusted. I'd be happy to play either.
