⸻⠀The Origin Story⠀⸻
Donovan was raised in a small community outside of the typical civilized locales. Having been found capable of connection with something beyond the pale, his mentor raised him with earnest effort, and taught him every last spell scripture the small village could scrounge up. The entire community placed their hopes and longing on Donovan's back as he grew through the years and became capable enough to save lives throughout the area. Several years after reaching adulthood, he found the village struggling in a plight he could not cure. Some unholy menace of a disease latched onto one person after another, and with their final breaths taken one after another within his arms, he set out to find a more potent spell or connection to the god whom granted him his light. His one desire being to help more people and stop others from suffering the grievous fate his village had befall it.
