Serenity Blake lives a complicated life. While she is kept sheltered and safe in her family's fancy mansion, her father is the leader of a cult-like gang that serves a far more dangerous syndicate of vampires with the hopes that they would each prove worthy one day of receiving the 'dark gift'.
However… Serenity honestly wants nothing to do with her father's stupid cult gang and plans on jumping ship as soon as she turns twenty one and receives her inheritance from her late maternal grandparents…
If her life was complicated enough, it's about to get worse…
Turns out the leader of the vampire syndicate is looking to get hitched and he's had his eye on his pet human gang leader's daughter since she turned eighteen.
When Serenity is told… or really given orders… by her father, informing her that she is going to receive the 'dark gift' and become their master's bride… in doing so, her parents and immediate family would also be offered the 'dark gift'.
Pretending to be on board, while internally panicking… Serenity waits the few days left until her twenty-first birthday (which her 'fiance' is supposed to be attending)... and as soon as the money hits her bank account, she pulls every damn dollar out of her account and jumps into her car.
What she doesn't know is that the vampires put a tracker on every single one of the family's cars, just in case anyone got cold feet about the arrangement.
So when Serenity stops miles away from home at a bar to grab some coca cola and a plate of nachos… She is stunned when a handsome pale man with black hair with tattoos and piercings sits across from her.
(This dialogue absolutely may be changed, though I'd like the intent to remain the same)
"Here is the deal, Serenity my love… you are going to walk out of this bar with me right now, you are going to get on the back of my motorcycle with me, we are going back to your father's house where we will celebrate your birthday… you and I will then be married and I will turn you into a vampire…"
"And if I say no?" MC would say.
"Then I'll tear everyone in this bar to bloody shreds and then, I'll go back and do the same to your parents…"
