It has been asked many times since Sidon's ascension to the highest spiritual position in The Eternal City. Born to understated and seemingly unimportant circumstances, Sidon's ability to channel divine powers can be traced back to when she was five. Her first recorded blessings were when she was six, and included curing blindness, major restoration, and in one apparent case verified by three separate representatives of churches of the city, a case where a soul was successfully returned to a body. While there are many in the church that are worried that Sidon might alter the status quo, her access to divinity is without question.

Enna Sidon's rise to power seems to have been largely thrust upon her. She has not actively sought out more power, but as with anyone who displays truly unique skills, people will try to position them in ways that can be used. Sidon has been a challenging piece for church elders to move around the board, as she doesn't seem to be interested in worldly gain or power. This has led many to the worrying conclusion that she has come to break apart the status quo of a hundred generations.
