About me:
Hi there. I'm Mads, but my screen name is gayoticDOOM and I go by they/them pronouns. I'm 25 and have been roleplaying on and off for a little over a decade now. Time zone is EST. I'm looking to find a few more roleplay partners. I am more of a literate/novella writer and can write around 400-1000+ words or several paragraphs depending on how in depth the plot is. I prefer to do FxF or any form of sapphic pairing. However, I am also open to do MxM or MxF if I have a good enough plot to make a male character for. I'll mark any plot I'm willing to do for MxM. I would love to have some new stories going.
I try to be as active as I can, depending on my energy levels. I have chronic health issues and pain that cause fatigue so please note this may factor into reply times. I will be sure to give you a heads up. I just ask that my partner to be willing to match literacy the best they can and obviously be open to collaborate! I'm not a fan of one liners or shorter responses, it's really hard to move a story along. OOC is allowed, I don't mind chatting about where to take the roleplay next or just getting to know each other. I'm open to new friends :D 20+ only please.
Some genres I enjoy are:
supernatural, romance (always), fantasy, historical, post-apocalyptic, any form of mythology (Norse, Greek, etc)

I'm all for having smut in the roleplay. However, I do not want it to be the sole focus of our roleplay. Smut is much better when the characters have time to connect and for sexual tension to grow. I would prefer a 70/30 or 60/40 at the most but an actual storyline aside from it is preferred. I don't particularly have any kinks to list here, that is something we can chat about when the time comes.
this is a reply from a roleplay based on the Last of Us.
*context: Nyx is the immune and has been captured by a group of bandits by the name Rising Dawn but manage to escape. Rising Dawn is hoping to get a hold of Nyx in order to sell the cure within their body once a vaccine has been developed and humanity was saved. Nyx is also being hunted by other bandits for a chance to be at the top of the new world. Penny (my rp partner) is in the opposing group of bandits, both are caught in an ambush between the two groups. Penny and Nyx used to know each other from a group who took them in after Outbreak Day. Nyx took the bite of an infected so Penny could get away a decade before *
Nyx's hands clenched around the fallen bandit in front of her, bracing as dozens bullets wizzed inches from her head, her leg. The sound was deafening as the fight ensued and was more excruciating than a firework show on the 4th of July. She would never get used to the deafening sounds of a gun fight, no matter how long it was after the outbreak day. She could feel the impact of each bullet as it hit the body in front of her, her teeth gritted as each one hit. How was she going to get out of this? She leaned up to attempt to scope out the situation, there were more than she could see in just a few seconds.
The bandits behind her were too busy getting taken out and covering from the gunfire to notice her and the bandits at the front were giving heavy and precise fire. But leaving her head up too long caused a bullet to graze her cheek, sending her head immediately down as blood dripped down from her cheek. "Fuck." She hissed, wincing as her fingers pressed against the wound. All she could hope to do was wait for the bandits to take each other out. And soon enough, the gunfire died down and when she lifted her head, a formidable looking blonde was deep in a fight with the head of the group responsible for transporting her. Where to, she had no clue.
The only information she had manage to gather was that some doctors from the old world were looking for exactly what she was. Immune. She would be the sacrifice they were willing to make for a slim chance that they could come up with a cure. She didn't get a say in the matter, and that's what scared her the most. She was expected to sit back and let them take her. Her father had been a virologist in the old world and he took his work very seriously. Even with people becoming more and more violent in recent times, whenever she asked if they knew what was going on, he simply would remain silent on the matter and tell her that it was classified. He had been abroad during the outbreak, over in South America. Whether he was alive or not, she had no idea. She had no way to find him either, he refused to enclose where specifically he was going to be. So it had been best to just assume he had died before or on Outbreak Day and that the virus's patient zero had been somewhere in South America.
While the remaining bandits fought, she took advantage of the distraction to attempt to find bullets. A different gun would be fine even, she was unarmed after they had taken her supplies. The spiked bat she had spent so long making included. Her shaking hands fumbled through the fallen bandit's pockets, putting the few she found into the chamber and clicked them into place. Hearing the blonde's orders, she quickly scoot back to attempt to put some distance between them. She lifted the handgun she had stolen, her aim firmly at her head. She wasn't going down without a fight, no one else would experiment on her or beat answers out of her. She didn't know how she had gotten this way and it turned out trusting someone with her secret was going to be her demise. Her threat to shoot caused a sharp, cold laugh to escape her lips. How ironic it was to always be in this situation. However this bandit didn't seem to know she wasn't a member of Rising Dawn. She couldn't risk it regardless.
Her eyebrows furrow as the other woman hesitated, her own gun lowering as she realized that Nyx wasn't the enemy. She disarmed it and stuffed it into the pocket inside her jacket, but remained wary of the threat that the stranger held. Her golden brown eyes remained narrowed on her for a moment before slowly getting to her feet and brushing herself off. If the bandit was planning on killing her, she would have done so by now. Clearly her mission wasn't to kill anyone aside from rivaling bandits. That much was clear from the 8 Dawn soldiers who lie dead around her. Their insignia of a phoenix rising from the ashes with open wings, its wings stained red from the blood of those lost on Outbreak Day. And because of that, they've been known to be incredibly violent. They always wore their insignia proudly.
It was clear that Nyx wasn't one of them, their battered black denim trucker jacket with jeans and boots. Not to mention they looked pretty beat up, where as the other bandits were perfectly clean and free of injuries. The Rising Dawn had all the luxuries anyone could want, which was why they had been dominating everyone in their path and had plenty of men to follow. But it seemed they had some competition. Seeing the woman studying her closely, her gaze found the tear in her shirt followed by a hole in her jacket from a bullet grazing her shoulder. She hadn't even realized it, one of the Rising Dawn must have hit her since blood dripped from the area. Not only that, but her shirt was ripped enough where her skin had been exposed, the jagged scar tissue where her skin was torn apart showing just enough around her wound.
Her hand quickly covered her shoulder and wound, but it was too late. But the bandit didn't seem to move, wasn't scrambling to restrain her. Surprisingly, she didn't see her as a prize to be won once she saw her scar. And if that hadn't shocked her enough, she spoke as if she had known her. Her gaze quickly found hers, her eyes searching for any sign of ill intention and much to her surprise, she found none. Instead, there was familiarity and recognition and vast disbelief. It was as if she had already known her secret and witnessed the power of immunity first hand. Her eyebrows furrowed as she searched the face that was so familiar until the memories hit her like a punch to the face. Buried memories of what had occurred the night she was bit.
Nyx had only been around 18 at the time and in the time since Outbreak Day, she had been struggling to stay alive. The first few years since that day were chaos with Infected stumbling around at every corner with different mutations developing each year. When the kind people who had taken her in found her, she looked like a walking corpse herself. She barely knew how to hunt, and going into any town for food was suicide without help. There were only about 15 of them, 8 adults and 7 teenagers and kids who had lost their parents on that day. Nyx was on the shyer side, the pain of losing someone again making it harder for her to open up.
But after several months, even if she wasn't as close to everyone like others, they felt like family.
They had finally found a temporary place to stay which had been an abandoned gated community suburb with a good amount of houses, some of which had gardening space. It was perfect for them to consider making a permanent home. That changed when bandits caught wind of survivors on their territory. Nyx had been sleeping peacefully for the first time in years on an actual bed, with clean sheets and blankets. A luxury they never imagined they would have again. A gunshot startled her awake, followed by the sound of a body falling down and sliding off of the roof. The area where the people on watch had been sitting. By the time she woke everyone out and went outside, almost all of the adults were already dead aside from 4 of them, who told them to run. Grabbing what they could, they escaped through the hole in the fence that had been covered and went into the darkness of the forest. And bandits weren't going to be their only concern.
In the darkness, she grabbed someone's hand to ensure they didn't get separated. And in the end, they found themselves alone and the other kids in their group had somehow gone in a different direction. The hand she had been holding was ripped away from her and screams of the girl she was with followed. Infected. The light of the moon broke through the trees and in the clearing she had gone through, an infected with fungus bigger than any she had ever seen clicked at her as she crawled away hyperventilating. She didn't have a weapon, and her legs didn't seem to want to get up to run.
She was the younger sister of the spunky blonde girl who looked like she had been through just as much hell as Nyx had. She never had the nerve to talk to her in those days, but she had always found her incredibly beautiful and admired her from afar. In the dead of night, she heard them whispering the fates of their parents and crying. They had each other, something she wished she had. She could hear the screams of her older sister in the distance, as well as Mia who had been with her. The clicker screeched at its pray before breaking into a sprint and attacking her. Charlotte was holding it away from her face as it violently threw its head forward with its mouth wide to bite. Her cries of struggle could be heard through the woods.
Before Nyx could stop herself, she tackles the clicker to the ground, struggling with the undead creature just as Penny arrived. She had never met such strength in a clicker, screaming as it somehow buried its teeth into her shoulder and ripped the skin off over and over. Her screams of agony continued until her hand found the knife she had dropped in the tussle, burying it into its head over and over again until it stopped moving. Breathing heavily, they coughed up blood, the liquid dripping down her chin. Her eyes found Charlotte, who was trembling in her sisters arms, and then at Penny who couldn't seem to speak. But she knew from the gaze in her eyes and from the way she sobbed as she held her sister that she had done the right thing.
She held Penny's gaze, giving her a weak nod and smile before she got to her feet. It didn't take long before the bandits were fought off and they were brought back, and she was locked in the basement of one of the homes. She could hear the talk of shooting her before she changed as she sat down there, her wound leaving a puddle of blood on the floor. If she stayed, she would die. She wasn't going to let them see her turn, or get shot. So she escaped out the small window that she had broken and didn't look back.
She didn't expect to see any of them again. But here in front of her was Penny, the one whose sister she saved. One of the only ones who had witnessed her get bit. Before she could open her mouth, more gunshots followed. They would have to catch up later. "This way, we need to get away from the city. They have more soldiers than you can deal with right now." She grabs more bullets from the fallen bandits and another gun before she grabs her hand and pulls her away towards an assortment of train tracks and tunnels. Climbing onto the train car, she pulls herself up and reaches down to pull the other girl up as well, shutting the door. Putting a finger to her lips, she hoped Penny would understand to keep quiet, then gestures to the sound of pounding footsteps and shouting.
"Where'd they go? Scatter! They can't have gone far. Don't let them get away."

MxM idea: soldiers falling in love during war. We could into more detail but I'm itching for some historical fiction/romance. ***
Muse A and Muse B have always been friends, even throughout childhood. Special memories had been shared between them from sleepovers where they slept holding each other, their closeness brushed off as typical children friendships. Through their teenage years, they both had their own boyfriends. The jealousy had been clear amongst the two of them, forcing them to confront their feelings. Sparks flew as their suppressed love blossomed. The summers spent kissing in the woods, feeling each other under the stars. Their relationship lasted several years before Muse A and Muse B separated on heated terms. (We can talk in depth about what we'd like to happen between them). Muse A moves away from their hometown, heartbroken. As time went on, they were never able to find someone they loved as much as Muse B. Upon the sudden death of Muse A's mother, they are forced to come home to tie up loose ends with the will and household. After 10 years of being away, Muse A stands in front of their childhood home, one that had so many memories of Muse B. Of their family. And standing on the front step was the one who they had left behind a decade ago, the one who had plagued their dreams even after all that time, Muse B. After all this time, Muse A had to face them.
Deep in the forest of a small town, a ruthless Vampire Queen (can also be an alpha werewolf) responsible for thousands of vampire and human deaths alike. But she hadn't always been this way, her coven had been her family and despite all odds, she fell in love with a human. It was rare for a vampire to mate with a human, dangerous at that. She knew the Council who ruled over all of the covens would never approve. Every head ruled their own share of territory and are responsible for the vampires that resided inside it. Humans were seen as inferior, as pets to feed on. There was no love with a human for they should never know vampires existed. Peace between the vampire covens was delicate and solely relied on their secrecy from humans and a promise to stay out of each other's territory. Civil war erupted between 2 of the most powerful covens as a result of her love for a human, and their mate was brutally taken from her. From then on, the Vampire Queen became ruthless and detached. But when a human gets attacked on her territory, a scent she hadn't recognized in almost a thousand years has her protecting a human like she had done so long ago. Not only were there now rogue vampires preparing for revenge but there was a human with the same scent and looks as her former lover.
Growing up on a farm was always hard work, but there was not a thing in the world that they would change. Abandoning the city and buying a plot of land in the farming states of the United States had been the change they were looking for. With a fixed up house, a thriving farm and a fiancée, they truly had it all. Until that fateful day that everything changed when the sheriff showed up and placed him under arrest for a crime he didn't commit. Despite trying to run, they were caught and thrown in jail. While spending a few years in prison, they manage to figure out a means of escape. As a result, they become a wanted outlaw on the run with a bounty high enough to make any bounty hunter set for life. One of the best joins the hunt after their reputation is put on the line by a rival and dire circumstances made the money necessary. The outlaw has spent their time on the run developing a community of what the civilized would call bandits and undesirables. Men, women and children with no home followed them, relied on them for survival. No where was ever safe long. When the bounty hunter finds the outlaw settling down in the woods near their home, they decide to work their way into the group to find the perfect chance to strike. Will they have the heart to take their leader away from the women and children that relies on them after spending time with them? Especially when they were falsely accused?
That's all folks, I hope to hear from some of you soon. Please DM me if anyone has interest. I also have discord if anyone prefers other methods. <3333
