Hello!
I have been searching for a community of writers to RP with, so I can jump back into creative writing. When I was younger, RPing was pretty much my favorite past time, whether it was through games with chat rooms like WolfQuest, forum-based websites, or just with friends. Since then, I have always missed it and found it hard to creatively write in the traditional sense. I had a lot more fun building characters and stories collaboratively and being able to interact with other people's characters and building the world together. I stumbled across Inner Sanctum a few days ago and it got me pretty excited at the prospect of jumping back into RPing. I may be a little rusty, but I think I've always maintained my knack for storytelling, even if it hasn't been practiced through written word lately.
When I was consistently writing a few years ago, my stories were often set in historical and fantastical worlds. The last few years, I've gained an even deeper appreciation and love for fantasy, so I have a feeling that will still be one of my favorite genres, but I'm also willing to try some other stuff of course! Character and world-building are some of my favorite aspects of writing, so whatever the genre or setting may be, I will most likely be going all in on those fronts.
A little bit about me outside of being a writer: I work as a Graphic Designer and I am trying to work on my character art and illustration outside of work, so I can (hopefully) pivot to a more creative line of work someday. I love sitting in cozy coffee shops, trying new foods, playing video games, and spending time with my dog, Ollie!
I'm super excited to meet some people here and build some great stories together!
