Kudos to Star Wars Vision's Screecher's Reach for inspiring this RP.
I'm looking for somebody interested in a RP within the Star Wars setting that trends towards a more broody, grounded atmosphere with a focus on interpersonal connections and culture over swashbuckling action against depraved fascist wizards. This RP, highly mutable as it is to my GM's own preferences, centers around the life of a woman extremely weak with the Force, barely a blip on the radar, but experiences a great shift in circumstance and ambition when it begins to fully reveal itself to her.
These rather vague notions have increasingly specific ideas that I couldn't fit onto five Discord posts, and I'm happy to explore range of timeline continuities from the Old Republic to the New, but the underline point of it is to explore her relationship to what she refers to as the 'Shine,' the Force, and how it affects her day-to-day (usually extremely negatively) as poverty and lack of support and trust networks fail to provide her the safety net she needs to deal with the nauseating and often soul-crushing attack of the Dark Side as it preys on her insecurities and character flaws. Most of my ideas for a specific storyline include a path of redemption (or our MC becoming much worse) through a woman they're deeply in love with but lack the means to provide a happy life for.
Ideally this RP will see our MC struggle and often fail against institutions that she cannot fix, problems far beyond herself, and either coming to terms with what she will be happy to live with or burn herself out.
