Ashera often changes into small animals; crow & cat being the most common - to gain entrance or listen in on a target. When going on a tangent or extremely angry, she will curse in 'Elvish'. She often gambles - and cheats, usually getting away with it.
Ashera has soft thick blonde hair that falls just above her waist. All one length, her hair parts to the left. Her hair appears very wild, though well taken care of; her tresses hold an abundance of kinks and gentle waves. Her hair is usually kept in a large single braid or low messy bun when in combat or during the summer when it's particularly hot. In some instances, her hair may be decorated with wildflowers.

Large and almond in shape, Ash's eyes are grey in color, a mixture of blue and flecks of golden brown. In certain lighting, her eyes may interchange between blue, grey, and golden. Her eyes appear very expressive; sparkling with curiosity, wide with shock, or lit with fire. Under thin brown, her eyes are outlined in a thick fringe of black lashes.

Ashera has noticeably pale skin; almost compared to that of tales of the 'Snow White Princess'. As such, she has cool and rosy undertones. She's easily prone to sunburn and thus she recludes to the shade. She's naturally 'cold' to the touch, Her fingertips being described to icicles. Being outdoors, Ash has taken to a particular scent for herself - unlike a more earthy smell, Ash's scent is rather subtle and pleasant; being a mix of lemon and mint.

Due to her diet and regular activity, Ashera has developed a slender hourglass figure. She's very lean and has often been described as 'scrawny' in her small stature. She stands roughly five foot and three inches with a weight that fluctuates between one hundred and twenty to thirty pounds. Her bust (32 B) and hips are wider than her waist. Ashera often appears smaller, due to her usually poor posture.
During the Fifth Blight, Ashera had been cast out of her Clan - one which she doesn't speak of. Her true origins are unknown. The reason for her exaltation goes unknown, though Merril overheard the Keeper of her clan speak of Ash's use of magic and how she went about controlling herself. Where it wasn't blood magic, it didn't sit well with her clan and Ash refused to fall in line as she believed the origination was from their ancestors. History lost to them, which went ignored.
She's captured by slavers who seeking refuge from the Blight. In order to make the payment to flee, they sell Ashera to a noble in Denerim; one by the name of Vaughan Kendells. This is where her extreme distrust and dislike for humans are created.
After escaping Vaughan's castle, Ashera sought a way to escape Denerim. However, there were little options given the current situation with the Blight. Meeting the suspicious character, Slim Couldry, Ashera took on the persona of the 'Dark Wolf' - known for stealing riches from the wealthy. Hoping to gain enough gold to find a means of escape.
Dragon Age : II
During the events of Dragon Age II, Hawke is asked by a local nobleman who posted a help wanted ad - namely to attract mercenaries and other brutes, to go on this quest. The noble is extremely vague in what his intention are and what it is that he does, but claims he owns some land that is being inhabited by traveling Dalish. Disgusted, he tells Hawke that he would gladly pay to rid grounds of the mongrel that seems to be protecting the Dalish camp.
Merrill informs Hawke that she knows of the creature he speaks of; an abnormally large wolf that some of the Dalish have taken to calling 'Fen'harel'. Honestly, they have only seen glimpses of the creature and left it alone as it kept to itself and seemed tame - though apparently not so much to those who had the desire to breach the land and disturb the Dalish.
Venturing to the Summit, the wolf is dormant for a moment. However, the trail of corpses leads Hawke and company to believe otherwise. Shortly after, a fairly large white wolf reveals itself covered in blood. Ready for a fight, Merril is able to stop the beast but only being able to recognize the wolf is shrouded in magic, that of a shapeshifter.
Ashera reveals herself and claims she was merely protecting her people from the 'shem', who despite what was said, was planning harm to the clan against it's knowing. Aside from warning the clan, she felt it best to leave them undisturbed.
Ashera joins Hawke's company.

Retainer to Princess Allura A royal retainer is a person who has been dedicated to service to the royal family - usually under a specific heir to make sure both safety and personal matters are adhered to. Much like Coran, Faye was committed to serve Princess Allura and was made her retainer at a young age, due to her father doing the same for King Alfor. Since they were children, Faye trailed after Allura. Being both an advocate, protector, and friend.
Faye is a small and sensitive soul. Upon first meeting her, she's very quiet - shy even. She keeps herself at a distance. Though she's curious in nature and often forgets the meaning of personal space. It doesn't take her long to make friends. Her delicate and genuine nature is welcoming to those she comes to. She's been described as a nice girl by Coran, almost like the daughter he never had. Princess Allura speaks fondly of their time growing up. Faye was very much a worrywart and was often in a panic. Especially when Allura's wild side would kick in and it would be Faye who got drug along in their shenanigans. Constantly reminding Allura that 'as her retainer, she should inform her'. Still, Faye has been considered to be endearing. She's docile and easily startled. She tries her hardest to get along with everyone as she just wants to see everyone happy. She may become cross in matters that pertain to her keeping those she cares for safe. One of the few moments one would see her upset. Still, given her small stature, it's difficult for anyone to take her 'anger' seriously. This doesn't mean that she allows people to walk over her, however. Faye may avoid conflict, but she's not afraid to speak her mind. She believes in discussion and being able to use one's words. She considers herself to be extremely open-minded and understanding. And only to Allura knowing, is a romantic at heart. She becomes flustered and easily embarrassed around those she likes.

Hair Style: Straight, usually wore down with half of it pulled up in a braid around the back of her head leaving a small floof of hair sticking up. Usually will be put up in a low bun when in combat. However, much like Allura, Faye is able to change her appearance. This results in her being able to change the color of her hair. She's been seen with brown hair after being saved by the Rebels, to make herself look more like her hero - Matt.

Magic/Quintessence Much like Allura, Faye is able to control some magic through the use of Quintessence. However, her's is different. She wouldn't be able to pilot the Castle of Lions. Her magic is used more so for healing. She can heal pretty significant wound, but nothing fatal. Though she will try her hardest. She also can only use her magic on one person at a time.
Shift/Change Appearance Like other Alteans, Faye can change her form. Usually able to change the color of her hair, skin, and eyes to help allude her enemies.

Faye is an excellent swordsman. Close combat suits her more, being close and personal with her opponent. Using her small stature and agility far to her advantage. She's rather quite graceful. However, she feels she's more useful from a distance. She prefers to be there to help those who may be injured. So she will take up arms and fight from the back lines if need be.

Aywin Aywin was the royal retainer to Alfor before Faye. After Faye was born, both she and Allura around the same time, he spoke to Alfor about the possibility of she becoming a Retainer for Allura. Alfor encouraged the idea and their girls were placed with each other in hopes they would get along. And much to their hope, they did. Aywin was a commendable advocate for Alfor and was close friends with Coran - who he had asked to be something of a 'Godfather' for Faye. Aywin doted on Faye. Overly proud and excited about everything she did. Faye shares some of her appearance of her father, namely her hair and eyes. Much like his Altean brethren, he perished at the hands of the Galra.

Taenya Taenya was a renowned healer for Altea. Able to use Quintessence to heal nearly all ailments. She was deemed the Oracle. Taenya was a quiet and dedicated woman. Faye was always seen in toe behind her mother when not with Allura. Faye loved her mother and looked up to her with wide and curious eyes. Faye gains most of her appearance from her mother. Nearly the spitting image of her, minus the silver hair and grey eyes. Faye also has seemed to inherit the magic her mother used. Though not nearly as powerful enough to heal a multitude of people and becomes more prone to fatigue. She too perished at the hand of the Galra. One of the general's took her staff as a trophy.

Much like Princess Allura and Coran, Faye grew up on Altea. Similarly, she shares their past as well. With the rise of the Galra empire, Faye was forced away from her family and separated from both Allura and Coran during the invasion. However, before the storm life had been most pleasant for Faye.
Aywin was a long time friend to Alfor, as such took up the position to be his retainer when the opportunity presented itself. Alfor desired his friend to stay close and Aywin spoke his oath and stayed by the King's side. Aywin was a young and spry warrior. One of the best, as a matter of fact. His abilities were well respected among the Alteans. He was quite the charmer in his younger days as well. He was able to bat his eyes and practically get anything his little heart desired. Except that of which he desired most.
Taenya was a stern and uptight Altean at the time of their meeting. She was well committed to her work and didn't have time to indulge in the life that was 'loving' someone. She didn't have time for such luxuries. She tended to her magical arts and became a healer for the Altean people. It wasn't until the creation of Voltron happened that she gave Aywin the time of day. To which he was ecstatic for.
It was several years later that Faye was born. A couple of years shortly after Allura. Faye was a handful, but Aywin never let her be without the attention she desired. He doted on her constantly. Reminding everyone of who she was. Taenya, who loved their daughter just as well, didn't wish to cause her further embarrassment when she matured. As 'one of them needed to be the parent'. Still, it was Taenya who Faye trailed over. Curious and wide-eyed at the magical wonders her mother created. It was here, Faye first felt the strong desire to help those in need as she watched her mother work.
Aywin offered the idea to Alfor that she become Allura's retainer, as he was his, when she became mature as well. Thus the two sat the two girls down in hopes they would become fast friends. Which they did, though Faye needed to broken of her shyness. Allura had no problems in helping the younger Altean break from her shell.
Growing up, Faye dedicated herself to learning her mother's magic and training with her father. She became very skilled with both. Though her magic wasn't quite as powerful as her mother's Faye helped where she could. As for her father, he was a little too proud that his darling daughter had managed to surpass him at such a young age.
After the Galra attack, Faye was separated from her mother and father. Alfor offering a place to keep her safe with the hopes that she would be there for Allura once they awoke. Faye pledged herself to do so. However, it's unknown how her cryopod was ejected but she had been found by a Galra general later. It won't be until she's auctioned off that she would be released from her pod - completely and utterly unaware of the fate of her people and family.
