Hello! I am new gere but not to roleplaying, I've been doing it on and off for a couple years and am a writer outside of this site. My favourite genres are going to be fantasy, romance, and some fandoms. Fandoms I am interested in are Harry Potter and ACOTAR but if you have other bookish fandoms I could be convinced. I tend to write 3-6 paragraphs for most scenes and 1-3 for actions scenes when things need to move faster. I am not opposed to writing more and I will do my best to get out at least one reply per day. I prefer to keep the gore and violence on the lower end, so basically only when the plot calls for it and if it calls for it should it come up but I am not scared to describe a rotting corpse or two if needed. In terms of smut, as long as it reasonably would happen in the plot I am happy with it. I generally end up with a 70/30 plot/smut ratio, but if our characters are enemies, I don't want to shoehorn in smut too fast.

Voledmort won the war. Harry Potter is dead, the order is in shambles, and Hermione Granger is one of it's last remaining members. She has been traveling around the United Kingdoms for the past few years, smuggling out muggleborn children to France, when Severus Snape (who survived), a loyal order member, contacts her about a new mission. She is to use polyjuice to sneak into the Death eaters ranks as Astoria Greengrass, Draco Malfoy's wife. Apparently, Astoria was captured only a few days prior and, by sending her in, they can gain valuable information. There is no time to decide and so Hermione accepts. Little did she know that Malfoy hardly knows Astoria, they were married only the week prior and it was an arranged wedding, so now, meeting Hermione pretending to be Astoria, he falls in love with this version of her.
Little does she also know that, only a few days prior, Ron Weasley was also captured. The Death Eaters took him and have replaced him with one Draco Malfoy, using polyjuice potion to pretend to be him. Now, both our characters are spending a their time with each other, but one is always pretending to be someone else. This is a plot I think we could have a lot of fun with but could also get serious as the war plays on and when our character finally find out who they're actually falling in love with, I think that will be a dream.

Our characters were, at once point, childhood friends. Your character was a noble boy, a prince, and my character was a servant girl, one of the cooks daughters. But they were friends and they would play and play, joking and laughing and hiding sly crushes on one another. That was until the girl's older sister got a marriage offer from a visiting nobleman and they were suddenly swept away to a new kingdom, without even time to say goodbye.
In the years that have passed, those kingdoms have gone from allies to enemies and are now on the cusp of war. You, the King, request an alliance of marriage, to ensure that no such war should break out, and who do they send but my character. She does not realize immediately that the boy who she used to play with is the man she is the man she is to meet on the altar. All she knows is that this King has scorned her country, the one she's grown up in, one she intends to diffend. She intends to do all she can to destroy their kingdom from the inside out, but how will her feelings change as she realizes who she is marrying?
This is one I would love to build out more and especially explore your character and his ambitions and goals and how we can weave a plot out of that!
