Hello! I'm FourStellar.
If you just want to get to the story idea(s), go to the bottom.
I've been role-playing for many years. What I enjoy most about role-play is developing richly nuanced characters with a writing partner, characters who evoke emotion as the plot unfolds. If it matters to you, I'm (usually) located in the central time zone in the USA.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better. Unsolicited private messages are always a pleasant surprise, so please don't hesitate!
What kind of role-player am I?
Maintaining a role-play through to its satisfying conclusion is my goal. Therefore, out-of-character communication is particularly important to me. Role-play is only rewarding if I know that my writing partner is enjoying the experience. If you're unhappy, I definitely want to know that, too. If I do something you don't like or fail to do something you need, please tell me and I will do my best to set things right. I will provide feedback in the same way. As for chit-chat and banter outside of story discussion, it is very much welcomed but not required. One request: please no in-line OOC; PMs only.
It's particularly important to me that a writing partner participates in moving the plot along. If you do your share to drive plot within the story, I will be happy. If you're among those writers who want their partner to take the lead, I'm happy to do that, too, so long as you consistently contribute solid ideas out of character. If I find myself doing all the planning, creating the environment, controlling the NPCs, and you're only writing reaction-type posts that leave off in the same spot I did, my interest will not survive.
My own posting rate varies from multiple posts per day to once per week, depending on life outside of role-play, the story's pace, the effort needed, etc. I won't let any story go for an unusual amount of time without a word. I ask for the same courtesy from my partners.
As for gender and orientation, my main character will rarely be anything other than a straight man because I have the best insight into that kind of character. I would consider writing a reluctant, bi-curious, or heteroflexible main character for the right threesome story. (If you have an idea, please ask. Even if I'm not interested, my response will be kind.) I don't mind that people write a gender other than what they are; I've tried it myself. But for one-on-one FxM stories, I do appreciate and prefer the perspective of a co-writer who is a woman.
Well-written stories have a starting point followed by rising tension that builds to a climax and a satisfying release, and that's apart from anything erotic that happens in them. They also feature rich detail and characters with subtlety and nuance, who have complex, evolving motivations and emotions. I'm not going to give you a smut/story percentage because every story and every co-writer is different. Nevertheless, the erotic scenes must flow naturally from the story and be a well-integrated part of the story. In other words, I always want to include smut, but it has to serve the story.
I get the most out of role-play when I write main characters who are complex and realistically human. We are writing fantasies and I get that, but if you want every aspect of my character to represent some idealized notion of masculinity or exhibit over-the-top virility, I may not be your guy. My character's refractory period won't be ridiculously short for his age. He'll have trouble holding off an orgasm if he hasn't had sex in a while. He'll have insecurities to overcome. And I certainly hope the story has enough potential drama to bring him to tears. My character's behavior is always subject to my co-writer's ons & offs and the plot as discussed.
We all make mistakes—I certainly do—but please do try your best and allow yourself the time you need. I'd rather enjoy it later than scratch my head trying to parse bewildering text. There are easily forgivable errors from typing too fast, cut-and-paste editing, and autocorrect. But if you, as a native speaker of English, frequently and indiscriminately misuse language, you will drive me crazy. On the other hand, I'm not sure how well I could role-play in my second language, despite being fluent, so if English is not your first language, you will have my respect and patience.
Left to my own devices, I will write in 3rd person and past tense. However, if you have a strong preference for another tense or point of view, I am happy to accommodate it. I do ask for consistency, though. Switching back and forth from present to past tense rips me out of the story.
I enjoy role-plays most when they are set in the real world. I'm fairly well-traveled, so the country or locality is not something that intimidates me. I can cope with words and phrases in several European languages and I like to include British English spelling and usage if it's appropriate to the story. I am happy to do my homework to make a role-play realistic. I may be willing to try some fantasy or sci-fi settings, but my interest would be heavily dependent on the story's premise. Comic book or anime worlds are out of the question, however. Otherwise, just ask.
Role-play can run on pure imagination for me. I don't need pictures of characters, but if you do, I'm quite happy to have them at the very beginning. (Once I compose my own mental image, an ex post facto face claim will ruin it for me.) I've had a writing partner balk at my face claim, so if you want to provide the image for my character or allow me to choose from images you provide, I am thrilled and relieved to handle it that way. I'm happy to reciprocate or, since I love surprises and find a broad variety of women's faces and body types attractive, I can roll with whatever face claim you choose for your character. Long sections of exposition on looks are boring to me. A whole paragraph on hair color? A detailed description of every scar and tattoo? Snoozefest. Penis size? Bust size? Let's assume "just right" and leave the measuring tape in the junk drawer where it belongs.
While I'm on the subject of size, I think post length should vary. I like long, detailed posts as much as the next person, but when there is dialog or sex, a post may need to be considerably shorter to facilitate the other character's reactions. Otherwise, too many assumptions build up and it just gets messy. (Not in a good way.)
What story elements do I like and dislike?
I love romantic stories with lots of tension standing in the way of the main characters. (The two main characters can be in love at the start of the story, but, in this case, they must be tested severely.) The tensions can be social/family pressures, personal hangups, obligations, financial or health concerns, etc. To overcome them, they must trust one another, grapple with their own insecurities, and grow from the experience. Rest assured, I'm not interested in any simple I-love-you/you-love-me/isn't-this-wonderful kind of story.
In general, I love for my co-writer's character to be bright and/or talented, emotionally broken or traumatized, guarded, and to have a dark sense of humor.
I enjoy writing sex scenes, but they have to be integrated in a way that contributes to the plot. Of course, getting there is half the fun, so furtive looks, flirtatious banter, teasing, kissing, touching, and outercourse—all the lead-up—is very much in-bounds. I'm happy to play a character (or opposite a character) from anywhere on the D/s spectrum, including switches. I'm also happy to write stories that do not include BDSM.
I'm not easily grossed out and I can enjoy writing all sorts of nastiness, but there is no such thing as a "must-have" kink for me. It's all about the appropriateness to the story and observing my co-writer's limits. If you need a list of potentially in-bound kinks and sex acts,
It's actually easier and more important to explain what I would rather exclude.
So, first off, I'm not too keen on main characters who are rapists. Dubious consent, reluctance, pressure, pushing a bit beyond a character's (not the writing partner's) limits… I'm fine with writing any of that. If rape is part of the story's premise and it happens once and the story is about my character trying to find redemption… OK. If it's rape that turns into consensual sex, OK. (It doesn't seem very realistic, but I realize we're writing fantasies here.) I'm also fine writing secondary characters who perpetrate rape. The main point is this: I have a strong desire to like my main character, and being an unrepentant rapist won't endear him to me at all.
I'm not interested in writing a main character who is a cuckold. If your character cheats on mine and it's part of the story's premise, that's fine. Swinging, polyamory, threesomes, orgies, FLR, femdom… all fine. However, I'm simply not interested in a story where my character being cuckolded is a main feature of the story itself.
Incest between blood-related parents and children doesn't interest me. Everything else is a maybe. For example, a story about a sister and brother who don't know they're related… that could be a potentially interesting story. Siblings who fuck because they're siblings… no thank you. While a DDLG type of dynamic could definitely work, I don't ever want my character to be called "daddy".
Sorry, but I'm just not interested in unrealistic kinks. Extraordinary volumes of cum per ejaculation? Absurd proportions? Vaginas with teeth? Barbed penises? Tentacles? Male pregnancy? Penetrating through the cervix or into the intestines? Shape shifters, furries, and lycanthropes? Nope.
Other kinks I don't want to write include infantilism, sissification, bimbofication, bestiality, the undead (though vampires might be OK), necrophilia, sounding, vomiting, snuff, and vore. Also, comic book themes, cartoons, anime, and superheros are not my thing.

Where applicable, any of these can be done by or to my character: Oral sex (cunnilingus, fellatio, irrumatio, rimming, face-sitting, 69… all good), light to very heavy bondage, dominance and submission, anal play, anal sex, pegging, impact play, choking, sexual humiliation, dirty talk, hot wax, overstimulation and forced orgasms, anything to do with breasts, tease and denial, forced chastity, mutual masturbation, using toys and gags, exhibitionism, fisting, spitting, squirting, pregnancy, period sex, fucklicking, and watersports. As far as anal penetration goes, no preparation or minimal preparation should result in pain.
It's actually easier and more important to explain what I would rather exclude.

Story Ideas
Your character entered the porn industry at age 18. Her motivation can be anything you like. With a young-looking face, hot body, and an enthusiastic on-camera persona, her popularity rose quickly. As the years went by, she did ever more degrading scenes to make the same money as when her popularity peaked. By her mid/late twenties, there was nothing—even sexual stunts of the most extreme nature—that she hadn't filmed time and again. The industry had chewed her up and now she was tired, unhappy, unfulfilled, and not altogether sad that it was ready to spit her out. A move, a change of appearance, abstinence from the drugs and alcohol that pervaded her day-to-day existence, soul searching, an extended period of celibacy, going no-contact with everyone she once knew, attending community college, and working a mundane but strangely rewarding job went a long way toward giving her the illusion that she might be able to blend into society and live an absolutely normal life. So far, no one had recognized her. She trusts no one with information about her past.
My character is a new hire where she works. She is supposed to train him. That is where the story begins. He is a shy guy who is saving it for marriage (or perhaps he's had one girlfriend). He treats your character respectfully. They can be about the same age. He's bright, and working his way through college to a master's degree in a STEM field. He is completely smitten with her.
She knows he's got it bad but does nothing to encourage him. He's kind and decent looking, but she is conflicted. Mistaking his naïveté, kindness, and shyness for weak character, she doesn't get the vibe that he would be the right kind of man for her. At the same time, maybe she doesn't feel worthy of him.
An incident (which can be negotiated) occurs where he is able to demonstrate the qualities she's looking for. She falls hard for him. They get together and have been blissfully happy for a short time when her past catches up to her in a humiliating way. (The manner can also be negotiated.)
He has a debilitating fit of jealousy and is unable to cope with what he learns about her. He goes through a period of obsessively watching her videography. Having grown up in a prudish and conservative home, he is shocked. Moreover, and given what he sees, he doesn't understand why she had wanted to take things so slowly with him—it makes him feel unwanted—and he lashes out at her apparent hypocrisy.
He doesn't understand that none of her on-screen partners were special. She only remembers a handful of their names… And with a few of them, she never even saw their faces. Despite all her experiences, she has been perfectly satisfied that he would be the last guy she would ever be with. So his attitude makes her feel more worthless than she ever had, and she is sorely disappointed in his lack of perspective.
We will figure out if and how they can resolve everything or anything. Can he get over it? Will she believe him if he does? Or, by that point, will she even care whether he does? The desire to recapture the brief glimmer of a seemingly perfect relationship drives both of them, even as they both undergo deep despair.

All the main characters are 18 year old high school seniors. Your character is an ambitious and a talented singer and lyricist. Her family doesn't have money and her social standing is low. She's in with the band kids, however, enough to have found a keyboard player, drummer, and bassist to accompany her. None of them are popular.
She overhears the school's star athlete and most popular guy complaining to his friends that his girlfriend (of course, the prettiest and most popular girl) won't put out. He can't break up with her, however, because her parents are sports management executives who can help get him a deal with a college team and launch his professional career.
Your character approaches the jock with a deal. In exchange for helping to make her and her band popular, she'll have sex with him and keep their affair quiet. The jock delivers his end of the bargain, but at a great cost. He considers her beneath him and has no respect for her. Every encounter is traumatic. He's rough and delights in humiliating her. He makes backing out extremely unpalatable and demands ever more degrading acts from her.
Meanwhile, the keyboard player has had a huge crush on your character since grade school. He's kind and talented. She understands only the basics of music theory, so he writes the music to her lyrics and works tirelessly to make her a success. Because of their tight working relationship and his insight into her psyche from all the scraps of lyrics he has seen, they are very close and fall in love. She holds back, however, not wanting to enter a relationship when she's stuck in her agreement.
The keyboard player somehow learns of her secret and is devastated. Drama ensues. I have lots of ideas but want to hear yours; they might be even better.
I plan to write both the jock and keyboard player, though I see the keyboard player as more the main character. It would be super cool if you had actual song lyrics of your own (or poetry that lent itself to being song lyrics) that you wanted to showcase through this story. Of course, that isn't a requirement.
