Premise of the RP: We will all be playing a small Colonial Company for the human space empire that in charge of protecting and helping developing colonies. Each person will play a combat role in the group which will involve a lot of cooperation when RPing as you will all depend on each other in the missions. The characters can choose a race from the lore or discuss with me and help add to the lore of the game. Not only that but exploring other worlds and helping other colonies on a multitude of planets is a likely thing if we get far enough.
The class that your character chooses will impact your role in the team and what position they should land.
Class:
Assault: Equipped with heavy power armor or medium armor. The Assault's responsibility is to be the front line, taking the directive of a battle. Aggressive or defense, the Assault would be flexible enough to take on many roles in battle, using a variety of weapons heavy and light or piloting vehicles (not as good as pilots) as the main fighting force. While they are not fighting, these guys are to do maintenance on their weapon or stand guard which doesn't take as long as the others.
Engineer: Technician/Pilot: -Technicians repair all sorts of vehicles or armor. Usually in supporting vehicles or operating much more complex systems than what other non-engineering classes can do. However when they are in combat, they are usually hacking and repairing.
-Pilots are specialized in one type of fighting vehicle. Usually a mechanical suit or tanks. They mostly rely on their machines and knows how to fix it but when it comes to others, or close quarters combat, they are generally not as good. They repair their own machine while out of battle with the help of technicians who would help sometimes as they maintain their systems.
Support: Supports mainly offer ammo and fire support for other classes. Whether it is delivering food to everyone, running through gun fire to resupply ammo and medicine for the front lines, or taking up weapons and returning fire, they are the glue that helps every stick together. When the team is not in combat, they are in charge of maintain supplies to the team.
Medic: Found in the front lines with a quick medi-kit or in the rear with surgery tools. A medic's job is to keep their team alive, through repairing armor mid battle , regenerating their shields or wrapping them up in bandages. However out of combat, they are responsible for the team's mental and physical health.
Scout: Armed with Snipers or light weaponry, these lightly armored combatants are in charge of skirmishes and spotting enemy positions and weak points. Usually engaging the enemy before the firefight, scouts usually stayed back or on the flanks to help and find the enemy.
Sub Class:
Teketonic: Some people have the natural ability for telekinesis, they could have unlocked it during stressful situations or something else. However new alien technology was discovered to tame the near uncontrollable telekinetic power and to amplify it. Using an element called Teketon to produce a device that can fit on to any part of the body or armor called Elphria. Teketon users can covert their raw abilities in to physical manifestations of energy like energy storms or waves. Though very high skill levels may be needed. These users are extremely rare and humans are not as powerful compared to other species.
The background story: Almost 438 years after humanity was united under the Imperial Union, space exploration flourished after a large devastating rebellion. Encountering small civilizations along the way, never really dominating them but due to the over reaching power of the Imperial Union system and ambitions, their influence and colonization outstretched the few minor civilizations. However it was was at 438th year when the Imperial Union first met its match. The first patrol ships of the Imperial Union encountered the fleet of the United Planets of Gilta. The United Planets of Gilta was a representative republic and upon encountering the Imperial Union, the zealous Giltan fleet reported back to their congress of the seemingly weak fleets. So in the end of the year, war was declared and a large fleet was sent to invade the Imperial Union. The fleet of 170,000 Giltan warships was met with defeat against the smaller force of 100,000 fleet a year later in to the war. The emergence of much more organized fleet battle and the much more veteran crews of the Imperial Star Navy changed the way large scale battles were fought and pushed the war in to a stalemate costing billions of lives only to return to the status quote with tremendous lost in life on both sides. The war resulted in a changed political landscape with the Imperial Union absorbing much of the neighboring countries who joined in the war with the Giltan. This emergence in new power forced the two sides to enter a colonial race to gather power until the new conflict.
