HEY THERE, I'm Gallus. I'd recommend reading the information in the Request Thread Template dropdown, since it has more stuff about me and my roleplaying style.
All plots mentioned may be played with romance or played without romance. The plot details may also be edited to suit your preferences.
Without further ado, these are my plot bunnies:
Witch Hunters and Bounties: In a world where magical creatures and humans are common, but magical abilities (casting spells) are rare, Rogue Mages run rampant. As such, Witch Hunters arose to meet demands, wielding their own magic to chase down Rogue Mages- for a price. Some are freelance hunters, others are signed with private firms and companies. Person A and Person B are both Witch Hunters chasing down the same dangerous target.
Setting is modern urban fantasy, most likely a fictional city setting with skyscrapers, fancy fun nightlife, and probably a shitty subway system. Magic system is still in development, but I'm thinking that it'll be like a gimmick type beat, with people who specialize in 1 or 2 different fields such a scrying, blasting, alchemy, conjuration, teleportation, elemental magic, etc.
I have no preference for which role I play.
Coroner's Report: A small town, a string of grisly murders, and an overworked mortician. Doubling as the coroner, Person A has had to examine and prepare each and very body that finds their way to their funeral home. One day, a total Jean Doe turns up. No townsperson can identify the victim, no thanks to the extensive damage to the body. That night, Person A gets a ghostly visitor. Amnesiac, disoriented, and freshly dead, Person B's ghost must help Person A solve the mystery- before it's too late.
Setting is modern day, small fictional town, most likely set vaguely in the USA and can be Southern, Southwest, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, where ever so long as it's the middle of no where. (Willing to work with different geographical location, if you so wish.)
I have a preference for the coroner role, but don't mind playing the ghost if you would prefer the coroner for yourself.
Starships Were Meant To Fly: Here for a good time, not a long time. I have little to no plot idea for this, I just really wanted to play a space cowboy character. Maybe Person A and Person B are racing starships, someone crashes, then it becomes a "and they were roommates" situation for a bit until they get help? Or maybe it's space lawman pursuing space phantom thief. I'm mostly seeing this play out as a romance plot, but it doesn't have to have romance/can just be an adventure story.
Setting is Cowboy Bebop, Trigun Stampede, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Penumbra Podcast, Wolf 359 -esque, containing elements of scifi and cyberpunk. I should also warn that I'm not super well versed in scifi or cyberpunk media, so the world building, minutiae, and particulars regarding space craft, weaponry, etc. may be wishy washy and hand-waved. Happy to do deeper research, if insisted/necessary.
Again, I just want to play a space cowboy with a reckless personality, ahorse starship and AI system that they love dearly, and a crack shot aim. Space cowboy highway man? Space cowboy sheriff? Space cowboy NASCAR racer? The details doesn't matter, I'm happy to play any role. Your character doesn't need to be Western themed, feel free to go crazy with conflicting genres or play into the yeehaw fantasy, your choice.
Cyberpunk, Private Eye: The future is here! Memocards are a revolutionary and popular technology involving a cybernetic implant that connects straight to the brain, collecting thoughts, feelings, information, dreams. The Memocard Storage System may be incredibly expensive and admittedly just a teensy weensy bit faulty at times, but hey, pretty sick, amirite? A little invasive, but not too wild, considering the range of cybernetic enhancements one can pay for these days. In addition to Memocards, everybody (who can afford one) is rushing to purchase a lovely, loveable, AiDroid! Colloquially known as Companion Bots, Love Bots, and other more derogatory names, AiDroids have been developed, released, recalled, and released once again thanks to the wondrous efforts of popular demand. Now on it's 16th edition, AiDroids have been made to be more customizable, able to produce more realistic imitations of physical and emotional responses, and have finally finally cleared the shadows of the uncanny valley!
Person A is a private eye with an unsolved mystery of their own. Many years ago, their spouse/partner disappeared, and all investigations had led to the same dead end. Then one day, Person B, an AiDroid, shows up at their office with no name, no owner, and no memories except for the contents of a single card. A Memocard Storage System, belonging to Person A's spouse/partner. The memory files are corrupted and difficult to access, but one particular recollection stands out above all else: Person A's spouse, looking into a mirror and asking for help.
Setting is a cyberpunk city, similar to Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Spider-Man 2099 comics, Penumbra Podcast, with an overabundance of neon lights, constant ambient theme of the haves and have-nots, incredibly tall city infrastructure, flying vehicles, robots, the works. Sleek in the nice parts of town, gritty in the bad parts. I should also warn that I'm not super well versed in cyberpunk media, so the world building, minutiae, and particulars regarding technology, robotics, etc. may be wishy washy and hand-waved. Happy to do deeper research, if insisted/necessary. I am also aware that cyberpunk is a genre that often has a heavy emphasis on the ills of society and government, often with a message and a call to action accompanying the dystopian feels. I, however, am just writing cyberpunk for the Vibes, Flavor, and Aesthetic, and am not looking to get too deep. If that is something you want, a deep story with a message, I am open to discussion. Otherwise, it's just for android funsies!
I have a strong preference for playing the AiDroid. We can discuss if you would like the AiDroid role for yourself, however.
Who are you, how long have you been writing and what kind of things do you like to write?
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
Do you have any characters you want to write? (Our character forum is here if you want a dedicated thread)
Any additional notes you want to add?
- I'm Gallus, 20 year old college student, he/they/she.
- I started writing when I was 12, but stopped writing regularly when I hit 14. Ever since then, I've had an on-off relationship with roleplaying.
- I tend to enjoy writing action, drama, and slow burn. I especially love when it's just a whole lot of pining and denial.
How long do your replies tend to be and what is your writing schedule like?
- My replies depend largely on how many characters I'm writing for, how much I'm into the roleplay, and how long my partner's replies are. On average, I write 2-3 paragraphs.
- My writing schedule is abysmal. I struggle a lot with ADHD, time management, and forgetfulness. Often times, I may have time to write, but lack the energy to write. Or I may have the energy to write, but simply no time. I wish to be transparent about my scheduling issues so that there are no false expectations on either end.
- Responses tend to come once every few days (fast) or may take 2-3 weeks (slow). Response times may vary, but rarely do I ever respond the day of.
What is your tolerance level for gore? Violence?
- Love gore. Love violence. The more detailed and gratuitous, the better. Doesn't need to be realistic, just needs to be properly dramatic and graphic. Of course, it isn't strictly necessary. I have done plenty of non-gore/low-violence roleplays, it's more of a special little treat than a need. I'm happy to work with your level of gore/violence tolerance!
- Cannibalism is fun! It's my favorite thing ever, but I haven't found too many contexts to work it into, haha. I enjoy it in a nonsexual sense most of the time, like metaphors (power, love, etc.) or just for extra gore funsies.
- Also, I'm not too well-versed on the topic, but I think vore and cannibalism is different? With cannibalism involving a more "bite and chew" aspect, and vore involving swallowing something/one whole?
- In which case, just to clarify, I dislike vore and love cannibalism.
Do you write sexual content? If so, what are your kinks? Limits?
- I've never written smut before. Consider me a virgin in all aspects, really. I find smut a little awkward? Mostly because I'm not confident in my ability to write it. It's definitely not my main focus for roleplaying, but if that's something you really want to facilitate, then I'm open to discussion.
- I always prefer plots that prioritze plot over sex and romance. If I had to choose a porn to plot ratio, it would be 20:80 or even 10:90.
- Porn without plot / plot as set dressing for porn is not my style.
- Once again, I am open to discussion. It's not a hard limit, but I definitely prefer for sex to "happen if it happens" and come about naturally in a situation/dynamic/etc.
- Sexual tension and repressed pining is great fun to me! But I'm not experienced with explicit writing involving the anatomy. Again, I'm willing to try though.
- I'm generally more willing to engage with romance over sex. Still not 100% sure about having it be the focus of a roleplay. Romance to plot ratio is more 40:60 or 30:70.
- My list is NOT extensive. All sexual content (kinks and limits) needs to be discussed beforehand.
- RED LIGHTS: Bathroom play. Pedophilia. Incest. Age play. Hard non-con. Race fetishes. Vore. Pregnancy. Furries.
- YELLOW LIGHTS: Dub-con. Omega-verse. Voyeurism. Exhibitionism.
- GREEN LIGHTS: Pain play.
Do you write any fandoms? (Please bear in mind that any characters under 18 and any high school settings must be aged up)
- All the nostalgic fandoms I enjoy involve teen adventures (Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Mahou Shojos, etc). Not sure if that's going to work on this site.
- I've played a tiny bit of Baldur's Gate 3? I have a very limited knowledge of Faerun and the plot, I'm afraid.
- Also loved Genshin Impact, but stopped playing around the end of Inazuma's arc, so....
Do you have any pairing or setting ideas?
- I don't know why, but I'm not a huge fan of female pairings. I prefer MxM, MxNB, or NBxNB. Not opposed to female pairings, if that's what you want.
- I prefer opposites attract pairings, like Optimist x Pessimist, Professional x Rascal, Sun x Moon, etc etc. I'm honestly flexible though, so long as the dynamic has room for conflict.
- I love fictional settings! I'm not well versed in a good chunk of them (some less than others), but I'd love to explore high/low fantasy, cyberpunk, steampunk, urban fantasy, fairy tales, scifi of the Cowboy Bebop variety, and superhero settings.
- I'm not a huge fan of slice of life type plots and settings though.
Do you have any detailed plots prepared?
- Not really? I have some ideas bouncing around but nothing is fully formed.
- In terms of settings, I tend not to do very hard-core world building, as it's not my strong suit, and play with general concepts/settings like Off-brand Magic School, Generic Urban Fantasy, Dollar Store Medieval-ish Kingdoms, etc.
- I do light research for my writing, usually just checking up on Wikipedia every once in a while, and prefer to defer to the rule of cool. Of course, I can work with more detail and research heavy roleplays, but do expect a slower post turn around / more time spent plotting.
- Mostly looking for short term plots/plots with an end goal! Plot with no end goal tend to derail or get boring, unfortunately.
Do you have any characters you want to write? (Our character forum is here if you want a dedicated thread)
- I tend to play grumpy male characters, smiley jokester male characters, or naive male characters. I also play NB characters of the same types. I do not often play female characters.
- I don't do canon characters, sorry! Not a huge fan of Canon x Canon, nor OC x Canon.
Any additional notes you want to add?
- Ghosting and hiatus friendly. You don't even have to give me a heads up. I am low maintenance and very chill, promise. If there are any issues, I'll be sure to communicate.
- I'm like a vampire when it comes to social interactions- I sometimes need to be expressly prompted/invited into OOC conversation, or else I'll remain largely quiet and out of the way. It's the neurodivergence doing its thing.
All plots mentioned may be played with romance or played without romance. The plot details may also be edited to suit your preferences.

- Rivals, corporate variant: Our characters are the top two Hunters in either the same firm OR two rival firms. Can be a forced partnership or a competition or both.
- Rivals, corportate versus freelance variant: As it says on the tin. Can be a forced partnership or a competition or both.
- Partners, rookie and pro variant: As it says on the tin. Can be a forced or a willing mentorship or both.
- Partners, rookies variant: Two rookies with no skin in the game, a mad magical murderer on the loose, what can go wrong? Mostly comedy, but if you want a nightmare scenario, be my guest.
- Partners, pros variant: Two badasses, one big bad. Piece of cake. (Or is it??????) Overlaps with rivals scenarios, but can be played as an amicable partnership.
- Cat and mouse variant: One character is a Witch Hunter. The other character is the Rogue Mage. Let the chase begin.
