You can call me Myst, and while I wear a cat-shaped gargoyle suit most of the time, I am, alas, a human of flesh and blood.
I am an Agender/AFAB individual, Queer as hell, and I've been roleplaying for 25+ years at this point. I've been thrilled to find a place like this to come and post about my silly little characters.
My writing style tends towards the more literary, with my posts averaging around 400-600 words, though I have been known to surpass 1500-2000 when it's called for. I don't consider post length to be synonymous with quality, however, so please don't take this as a hard rule or expectation. I generally can reply daily, sometimes multiple times a day, but am happy to wait for an enthused reply. If a couple weeks go by, I might check in, but please don't feel pressured -- I just want to make sure everything's okay!
Fantasy and Sci-fi are my favourite, though anything Paranormal could certainly be up my alley as well. Fantastic creatures, mythical monsters, traditional fantasy, aliens, androids, demons and angels: they're all great!

Romance and almost all of those tropes when done well. I'm an avid reader and writer of the genre - both queer and straight - so I'm very familiar.
While I do prefer RPing M/M pairings, at this point I've written many different flavours of gender and sexual orientation and it's always most important to me that characters have chemistry, that they vibe together, and that my partner and I have styles that mesh well and that we want the same things out of the RP.
Story is very important to me, and while I always love a meaty plot, I also like smaller, more self-contained and character-driven RPs as well, with just enough plot to get us started and grow from there. I am an active participant in planning and worldbuilding and love when both people have input on the plot. I do prefer our characters to be OCs, though I could be interested in the right canon/fandom setting with the right person. I also very much like having an OOC giggle when our characters are doing something ridiculous. I'm friendly, and happy to engage you in OOC chat as well.
I have very few limits in terms of physical violence - I don't like extended torture scenes.
Pain is okay, gratuitous violence, blood & gore, but if someone is being actively tortured, I think it's reasonable to either gloss things over at some point or fade to black and deal with the aftermath.
I do, however, RP smut enthusiastically and as a vital part of any romantic RP I get into. I love all kinds of relationship dynamics, am happy to engage with a number of different kinks, but I would prefer to discuss that privately.
My hard no's aren't terribly surprising: Scat/vomit, inflation, macro/micro (like giants and the like), daddy/little and vore just aren't for me. I don't plan my roleplays around the kind of sex they're going to have, either.
I think that's all I have to say for now - I'll update this thread as needed with potential plots, characters or other things as I think of them, but if you think we sound like we would fit well together, please do send me a PM!
