6839466340_509594c280_z.jpg

Misc
Sexual Orientation:
Sexual
Occupation: She has held many occupations over the course of her long life, but currently works as a kindred famous fashion designer. Does most of her designing from home, dressing the members of vampiric society for events such as the Rose Gardens and modern mortal events any kindred may attend

Personality
To the outside world, she is a commanding presence. She has lived long enough to know what she wants, and to know that when she makes a command, she wants it now. She is not afraid to lie, cheat, and manipulate to get what she wants, but those are only tools to use at her disposal. What she would rather do is charm her way into getting what she wants. One of the perks of being a vampire with as strong of a generational bloodline as hers is that she generally can just look at a mortal and they are putty in her hands. Behind closed doors, she is often colder, more annoyed than patient, and dismissive of others' needs. She'd much rather keep to herself– the only person she has ever truly trusted.

History
Rowan ó Ceallaigh was born in 1714 in what was then the Kingdom of Ireland. She was born to poor farming parents, who passed away long before her turning. 1740 saw the beginnings of the Great Famine, and within a year, she had lost her husband and two children to famine. She could not be sure how she survived, but she did. Fearing death, she began to flee to England.

It had been so long ago, she no longer can remember the details, but it was along the beginnings of her journey she met a man named Alasdair Keiran, who saved her from never fearing death for as long as she could outrun it. Alisdair was an 8th generation kindred and maintained a vast, detailed history on vampiric society dating back all the way to Cain himself. They spent a century together, with Alasdair never letting her far from his reach. He taught her the ways and rules of vampiric society and how to live her new immortal life, as well as the rich history of vampiric lore. In 1866, Alisdair was killed by burning when he was captured by a troop of vampire hunters in lower Ireland. Fearing she was next, Rowan fled Ireland to start a new life in the fabled Americas.

Her lifetime of mending, sewing, and lacework made her a stunning candidate as a seamstress, which she used to supplement her travels through the states despite the great injustices the Irish faced at that time. As society changed, and vampires became more infrequent due to hunting, she chose to remain among the society that stationed themselves in New York. She has undergone many name changes since Alisdair's death to avoid detection, though she retained great renown in vampiric society as a designer and detailed vampiric historian. She even carried Alisdair's namesake for many years, recently modernizing it "Blacke". Lucille keeps her old name hidden, and only those who have lived in society as long as she even remembers it. The only things that tether her to a life lived long ago is a crude drawing done by her daughters, and a large portrait of Alisdair in her gallery, taken a few years before his death.

Skills, Interests, and Hobbies:
Beyond her sewing abilities, Lucille is proficient at several instruments, such as the piano and harp, and can often be heard in her alone time playing music. She also speaks several languages through her travels. She is also an avid reader, maintaining a rather large library of both modern and vampiric literature.

Various Ghouls
Name:
Regis Williams
Age: Mid-40s
Role:
Bodyguard/Driver (as Lucille is unable to be licensed, and therefore has not learned to drive)
Personality/History with Lucille: The silent-but-deadly type, Regis has been ghoul for Lucille for over a decade. They met in an unconventional manner, as he was working for a gang in Chicago when he had caught her feeding on a mate of his. Regis had taken a vow of silence years before his meeting with Lucille after the death of his younger sister--not that Lucille had ever bothered to ask. Their relationship is strange for a kindred/ghoul relationship. He loves her, and she loves him, but only as a means of keeping him compliant. Regis holds an almost sexual interest in violence and bloodshed. The current Prince of New York will not allow her to sire Regis, as despite Lucille's generation, he is afraid of the current rise in thin-blood population.

Name: Elenor Johansen
Age: Upper 60s
Role: Keeper of the Manor/Daytime Assistant
Personality/History with Lucille: Not much is known about Elenor other than that she is a grandmother. Lucille has never bothered to find much else about her history beyond that. However, Elenor very much acts like a maternal figure to Lucille, often making sure her torpor is uneventful and that if she is asleep for a long period of time, that the Manor is well-kept in her absence. Elenor is typically in charge of most of the daytime activities should Lucille need, such as shopping for supplies for her work, keeping curious guests at bay, and fielding phone calls in the day. Elenor is a former nurse, a skill that comes in clutch when either Lucille or Regis are reckless. Elenor often serves as Lucille's voice of mortal reasoning, as Lucille is often careless when it comes to humans and their needs.

FORGIVE ME, FATHER

A story of religion, corruption, and love

Basic Info
Full Name: Dahlia Quinn
Age: 31
Gender: Female
Species: Human

Appearance
8474423054_136e35344d_c.jpg
Height: 5'9
Build: Thin
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Misc
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Occupation: Florist

Personality
Dahlia is a passionate creature. Everything she does, she does it at 100% or bust. She is also deeply religious due to her background.

History
Everyone thought Dahlia fell when her mother died, but the truth was, she had always been broken. She was born to a woman full of hidden secrets. Her mother's mental health always appeared fine at Sunday mass, but behind their closed doors, she was nothing short of a monster. She was convinced her child had been born from a relationship with the Devil. But when Dahlia finally met her father at the age of 15, he seemed to be a person just like everyone else. As she uncovered more of her parent's relationship through her blossoming relationship with her father, it came to light that her mother was a prostitute turned "Good, Catholic woman" when she fell pregnant. Devil child she maybe was not, but that did not stop her mother from convincing her with her words in actions that Dahlia was born with a demon inside her. When she was 16, Dahlia's mother died of a "mysterious illness", though, the truth of the matter was that she had drunk herself to death. Her mother was gone, but the abuse she suffered at her hands never seemed to go away and the demon inside her thirsted for Dahlia's demise. First it was alcohol, then it was weed, and then after a particularly strange night in a club at the young age of 18, Dahlia found heroin and the pleasures of sex. Her life only seemed to barrel faster towards her own end. In a particularly rough night, Dahlia found herself at rock bottom. She was sleep-deprived, she was overworked, she was high--and her current good-for-nothing boyfriend Jonas Long did nothing to make her day any easier. It was an accident, but maybe she had tried to kill Jonas that night as he overdosed on their favorite drug. It took almost two years to wrap the case, a year of which Dahlia had spent in rehab on her father's dime. The court had ruled it accidental and that she was not guilty, but how could she not be? She was, after all, the one who gave him the extra dose. Out of rehab and free of charges (but not guilt!) , Dahlia decided to move away from New York City to a quiet town in Pennsylvania. Here, she would follow her long-time passion of flower arranging and open shop. The conditions of her release required her to attend mass each week to seek her salvation, but when Dahlia meets Father Paul of St. Andrews and finds herself smitten, would she be able to continue keeping the demon at bay?

Basic Info
Full Name: Jackson Buckley
Nickname(s): Jack, Buckley
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Occupation: Surgeon
Skills, Interests, Hobbies: Sketching/Painting, Reading books on anatomy and biology, and murder

Appearance

Personality and History
Wicked smart and coy, Jack is a man of pure pleasure. He rose from the ashes of his father's failing lordship, received his education at Oxford, and now lives a life of luxury provided to him by his skills. He lives how he wants, does as he wants, and acts how he wants with very limited regard for others. Though he yearns for something more to come of his life. It's not that he does not enjoy the life a surgeon's work provides him, but his day job fuels his love for art in strange ways. His true passion is creating forensic art--an unfamiliar niche in the art world of the time. He is egotistical, thinking that he is always the smartest person in the room even when he is not. OAKTON
╚══════════════╝

A Regency-era Romance
Basic Info
Full Name: Adelaide Pricebury
Nickname(s): Addy
Age: 24
Gender: Female

Appearance
1K5A4332WEB.jpg

History
Her and Brendon's father is Lord of Brennwich in Northeastern England who has gone to fight against Napoleon and the French. Her mother, a former marchioness of Oakton, passed away when they were children. She was taught almost everything about society from her governorness and her brother's wife, Marion. She has come to Oakton to make her THIRD entrance into society after "failing" twice in Brennwich (much by her own choice). Their father returning to the warfront has provided him with a good excuse to hopefully get his daughter married off.

Personality
Other than being absurdly stubborn, Adelaide is quite playful and kind. She tends to be friends with almost everyone she meets, but she has a particular grudge against those who view the societal hierarchy as something to be taken seriously. As a result, she tends to be quite unpopular among the men who want to marry a high-class lady, and that's the way she likes it. She'd much rather be in a book, playing her harp, or out running the streets than sitting in the drawing room waiting on suitors.
She loves to read and write. She plays the harp lute as well as the pedal harp. As a girl of "society", she often finds herself getting in trouble for doing things like shopping without a chaperone or giving money/food to the lower-class citizens of the 'ton. She also has been known to have quite the mouth, often needing to be reminded that women of society do not use improper or rude language.

VICTORY
◝┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈◜

Basic Info
Full Name: Victory (Tieflings typically only identify by one name that reflects their goals)
Nickname(s): Vic
Appearance Age: 29
Gender: Male
Species: Tiefling

Appearance
Height: 6'2
Build: Rather thin, but can be strong
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: All black
Identifying traits: Peachy skin that is more red than human colored.
A large scar on his right cheek, presumably from a fight (but actually from a training accident).
Large, black horns as most Tieflings have with jewels adorned at the tips
Fashion: Basic leather armor dyed black, draped under a large black cloak to conceal his weaponry strapped to his chest
Tattoos: The mark of Siddel's faction-- a black snake wrapped around a dagger

Misc
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Occupation: Mercenary
Equipment: A rapier made for him by Siddel, a smooth silver grip with a black jewel pommel
Various sized daggers tipped with poison
Healing salves and potions
A pouch of Alchemist Fire

Personality
Chaotic Neutral
Charismatic and easy to trust, finds it hard to trust in return. Victory is very poor at discretion, and would rather boisterously speak of his accomplishments and feats than keep them to himself. He is quite the showman. He also is very ego-centric and very arrogant at times, but can be very nurturing for those who he cares about. Is more in seek of comfort and power than retribution

History
In the days before the unification of the 7 Kingdoms of Drakoth, a servant girl from the Kingdom of Alohac became pregnant by the youngest prince of the kingdom, Albus. The child was born in secret, and as the parents gazed upon their child, their faces turned to pure horror. A Tiefling child, born to two humans. Both the child and the servant girl were tossed from the kingdom and forced to roam the forests that divided the 7 Kingdoms until they arrived in the Kingdom of Talieve. With no home or money, the young Tiefling and his mother resorted to petty theft and deception in order to live properly. In order to help hide their misdeeds, Vic became a bard at a young age in order for him to obtain more money for him and his mother.
The Tiefling was soon sought out after the faction of Siddel, after almost successfully robbing his men during a tavern fight around the age of 11. Siddel saw potential in the Tiefling and took him along to train him to be a skilled mercenary, and renamed him Victory, in true Tiefling naming fashion. After 10 years, Vic had never actually received a contract, and nor had he actually killed anyone. During a run to an uncharted land across a mountain range, Siddel was killed by barbarians.
Without the guidance of their leader, the faction broke up across the lands. Victory was all alone, never formally finishing his training. He took on some of the wards in Siddel's little "mercenary training" orphanage, returning to thievery to keep the orphanage afloat. In order to find clients, he began to tell of his "glory days" with Siddel, while never actually accomplishing anything worthy of being called Siddel's apprentice.

THE 7 KINGDOMS OF DRAKOTH
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
Under Construction

There once lived a series of Kingdoms engulfed in a ring of mountains that opened to the seas. For many centuries, the Kingdoms would battle amongst themselves, pushing for territory within the mountain range in attempts to grow their kingdoms stronger. However, after a great series of battles in an era known as "The Great Divide", the seven kingdoms decided to come together to form as one, unified nation. Each kingdom has their own rulers, with each ruler coming together to form a great council that oversees peace among all the nations. It is guided by one man, the High Priest of the nations' faithful goddess, Ena. Each kingdom is divided into their own land, with the space between them being ruled as neutral territory, bound by no rules other than the ones of Ena.

The council gathers in a strip of land near the base of the mountain range called "The Great Unifier".

━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━

THE KINGDOMS
ALOHAC
At the base of the mountain, past The Great Unifier, sits the Kingdom of Alohac. It is overseen by the King Albus. The neutral land that divides them from the two kingdoms {UNNAMED KINGDOM 1} and {UNNAMED KINGDOM 2} is known as "the canyon of sorrow". It is a large valley full of cascading rockslides and rapid waters. Those who wish to traverse it must speak to a group of merchants known as "The Riverneers"

TALIEVE
One of the two small kingdoms that boarders the sea, Talieve is a city of rich wealth. Former pirates chose to make Talieve their home after the Great Divide. The neautral land between it and {UNNAMED KINGDOM 3} is known as "the Graves of Taerth", a rolling, rumbling hillscape that look lively during the daytime, but after dark, becomes a nightmare of ghostly figures seeking retribution from their time lost in the wars that once ravaged the lands. Where land is easy to traverse in a day, there is a safe haven from the raging spirits in the form of an Inn run by a former wizard apprentice named Vyn and his wife Lysabel.
