Hello, Inner Sanctum! My name is Chris and I'm 22 years old. I've been roleplaying for about 6-7 years, and writing in general for almost 10. Granted, I got better than when I started. Way better, if I look back. Thankfully, there are no works I saved from back then so I'm spared the shame of rereading them. Anyway, I'm coming back to the site after a long period of absence. I would like to firstly apologize to the people I was roleplaying at the time I was last around, I might not have had time to announce all of them that I'll take a break (due to personal reasons best left unmentioned).

Secondly, I should tell somethings about myself. Firstly, I only roleplay in the third person. That's just how I'm used to do it, I tried writing some first person things, didn't work out as well as expected. My paragraph length is usually varied, in accordance to the partner's style and time in the narrative. But you can expect decent length posts from me as I'm very keen on details and describing them carefully. I do prefer the story to be good and captivating, but also have a nice amount of smut. However, it won't be anything absurd, it has to be integrated in the story. The amount of smut itself varries on what story we agree on. As for limits, the only ones I have are underage characters. They can appear in a story as a plot device ( a hero forced to choose between saving a kid or stopping the villain), however I will not roleplay any sexual content involving underage characters. Except that I'm into mostly anything you can think off, from vanilla stuff to the most depraved fetishes. I am also a bisexual and a switch, so I can roleplay doms or subs, depending on the situation.

As for plots, I have some things that I'd like to try out, but I am more than open to suggestions:

- Low/High fantasy. Whether it's a world resembling the Witcher or more like medieval time real world, this has always been a favorite of mine. However, one thing I should mention about this is that regardless of degree of fantasy in the world we build, I want to still follow some rules and have some degree of realism. Therefore, I am big on details such as: the lifestyle of the poor people, the lack of personal hygiene for lower social classes, therefore the smell and body hair would be something most characters would have. The number of details involved in describing that can vary, but I do not want a roleplay set in medieval times in which everyone is clean and smooth after spending a week on the road, since that doesn't happen. Anyhow, the details of the world are not set in stone, although I'd not mind some Witcher or Vikings roleplaying.

- Post apocalyptic. That is something I never got to explore that much. Tried a couple of The 100 roleplays back during the earlier season which actually never reached a climax. Now, however, I'd try one in the newer seasons (post sanctum). The walking dead idea is pretty cool, but I don't like the direction the show took, therefore I'd only use the setting, not the characters from the TV show. Other ideas that I saw both here and on other sited that intrigued me and caught my interest were virus scenarios. Whether one that kills all men except few, or all women except a few, or some sort of virus that makes you sexually depraved and drives you mad which eventually destroyed the world. Basically, I'm also looking to explore creating our own apocalypse and our own survivors.

- Arms of the Ocean. I grew up by the sea and with a strange attraction to it that I can't describe. I also love mythology and legends, so there should be no surprise when I say I'm a sucker for a good mermaid story. But not the H2O kind of mermaids, more like the Siren ones ( which is also a good show that could be used as a ground base for the world). Mostly, I want to roleplay a story between a mermaid learning the way of humans, humans learning of their existance and their own communities. Also, unrelated to this idea, but I'm not opposed to the idea of trying other mythological creatures that are depicted as evil and learning they are not. And I'm not only talking about the obvious vampire and warlock, but lamias, gorgons, shapeshifters and the like. The time can be any from the dawn of time to far future in my book, although something modern would be best.

Last but not least, as previously stated, I'm always open to new ideas. However, as I've also stated, I have few limits and am keen on detailed description. And, while I will respect your limits in order to both enjoy the roleplay, the detail thing is not up for discussion. Therefore, the thing mentioned during the medieval plot idea, is valid in any world we create, as long as there's the case for it. I will describe the way things smell, look and feel and will do so with a certain degree of realism, regardless of when the plot takes place or whatever magical world it is set in. If you are still reading and something caught your eye please let me know in a message. If you could include your age/experience (not that I refuse or accept based on that, but it's easier to set expectations), maybe your name or a nickname, if you don't want to get to personal. Besides that, tell me what you'd like to roleplay about, whether it is one of the things I mentioned or something else entirely, and a list of your hard limits and if you are a dom or a sub. Bear in mind, however, that most of my roleplays are dark, considering the worlds I tend to create are distopic, therefore it will have violence in it.
