Hi there!
It's been awhile since I posted one of these, so forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. Here goes nothing…
About me
What I'm looking for
Now, onto the plot
I like to think this is a Hades + Persephone meets ACOTAR kind of theme. The God of Life has either found, or created, a woman. Bound to him, this woman is destined to remain a trophy at his side, bearing him heirs and creating life beside the very god of it.
However, one day the Kingdom of Life is attacked and the woman is mortally hurt. The God of Death, who could be Life's arch nemesis, half-brother, former friend, etc. steps in and saves the woman. As a token for doing so, the God of Death requests only one thing — that the woman spend one week a month with him in the underworld.
At first it's just a ploy to destroy Life, to take away the only thing he's ever really had for himself. But the more time he spends with the surprisingly feisty woman, the more Death gravitates towards her. It is only when he is leaving her back with Life for the first time, tattoos branded up her arms serving testament to their bargain, that he realizes their deal may be far more than he bargained for…
Because this woman, created by Life and in his image, in Death's fated mate. He feels the bond tug the first time they say goodbye.
Eventually learning how poorly she is treated in her world, he vows to show her that the underworld is not as frightening and evil as she was made to believe — and that maybe it's where she belonged all this time.

About me

- 31 year old female living in Canada. I work full time + I am an artist, but I tend to reply 2-3x weekly, sometimes more if I have the time!
- Most active 8pm-midnight Tuesday-Friday and sporadically on Saturday-Monday.
- I love romance, angst, adventure, pining, and fantasy! I do write sexual content but only as part of a larger story — and usually a slow burn. I would say about a 20/80 mix, with the emphasis on plot.
- My posts tend to range from 600-700 words on average. Literate and detailed, but I do make mistakes at times (usually autocorrect errors or missing a word here and there). I've been trying to proofread my posts more!
- I write female main characters but I love having a whole side cast of all genders, ages, personalities, etc.
- I love collaborating, chatting, plotting for long-term story ideas, and gushing (or laughing/fuming) over our story.
- If you want to get an idea of my writing style, please see my post history!
What I'm looking for

- I don't care about your real life gender, sexual orientation, etc. I do tend to write better with those 25+, it's just a personal preference and no offence meant!
- Generally has the same posting frequency as me (few times a week) and similar length (500+ words). Anything less than once a week posting and I tend to lose interest.
- Respectful, collaborative, understanding, creative. Let's create a story we both love!
- Willing to play the God of Death in the story below, as well as side characters as needed.
- Doesn't use a lot of fonts or colours in their posts. I find them very distracting and prefer minimal deviation from the default unless it's a header/title, bold/italic/etc. While I admire those that can code beautifully, it just distracts me a lot when I'm constantly reading it!

More details

- Obviously the details of this plot are loose, and that's for a reason — I want to make the story ours!
- I love angst, enemies to lovers, banter, and forced proximity.
- We can take the plot anywhere: from a major war, to battling between Life and Death, to trying to overtake the world for Death itself!
- The woman and the God of Death are end game. Romance, sex, banter, love. I want it all!
- No's: Non-con, water sports, incestuous or quasi-incest (ie. step siblings), abuse. Probably others I'm missing but you get the idea!
