Greetings fellow writers! It's been a while since I've been around these parts, but I'm back and ready for some writing! Anyway, I'm Gracehustle (Feel free to refer to me as Grace or Hustle if needed). I've been writing with others for the better part of a decade, but I've written solo stories since I was a wee little angsty middle-schooler. Besides writing, I'm also an extremely active person, avid reader, and half-decent plant mother. Currently a full-time college student with two jobs, a terrifying amount of things to do everyday, and still too much free time.

Now that that's taken care of, onto the real stuff:

Writing Stuff
  • I write in third person, past tense. I'm open to trying first person, but I still heavily prefer past tense.
  • My responses are usually 500+ words long? This really varies based on the story and skill level of my partner, but I do not tolerate single sentence responses. My personal max is around 900 words a post.
  • As for response time, I tend to respond at very least every three days. (This is really influenced by school and work). If I know I'm going to be gone for longer than about two weeks, I'll try to give a heads up. I know it's a longer break than most but my workload varies dramatically and I would hate to lie to a partner that I will be able to respond more than possible.
  • I absolutely LOVE ooc chat and meeting people, please please reach out at any time. If we are currently writing a story; send pics, songs, random ideas, anything you think goes with the story!
  • I'm not a huge stickler for grammar and punctuation, but please try your best. (If I really can't decipher a response I'll let you know)
  • Also, follow all site rules, that's a big one for me
  • I also do any pairing and will play just about any character: Male, Female, Non-binary, Non-human, etc
(I'm sure I'll add to this, but this should be it for now)

Gore/Violence
I have no issues with any of this. I think it can make a scene more gut-wrenching to have a description, but everything has its place. Essentially, when it makes sense in the plot, no holds barred, any other time, think it over.

Also, I really enjoy stories where human MCs aren't impenetrable. Let them get injuries just like side characters, ones that'll affect their lives long term.

Sexual Content
Truthfully, smut isn't my favorite. I will outright refuse to do any writing just based on smut. That being said, a good mix of like 80/20 or 70/30 is right up my alley (plot/smut). I need a good storyline to keep me interested, and smut is just the cherry on top if it works in the story.

That being said, if smut isn't your thing, there is a very good chance I will be more than down to not even bring it up in the story.

Most of my characters tend to be switches, so I can usually work with more dominant or submissive.

Anything including scat/urine any of that is immediately off the table. I also won't do anything with incest or rape. Age play is a no go, and I won't do anything against site rules either. I may add more here if I think of it, but I will let you know immediately if I am uncomfortable with anything.
Most things past what I listed are on the table for thought. If it follows site rules, I'll think about it. I don't have any experience with anything BDSM-related, but I would be open to trying. Rope-play/bondage, kinkier things, vanilla and anything in between is alright with me! Also a good forbidden fuck is always right up my alley (As long as it's consentual)

Fandoms
It might sway someone's decision to rp with me, but I rarely do fandom rps. Something about using some else's work for a story just....doesn't sit right with me, especially if I don't know the fandom well. I will refuse using characters directly in stories, but I'm fine with using a already made world with new characters (Mentioning irl fandom characters is fine for character talk but I don't like them in the plot as a main plot device)

That being said, if you're into Arcane or know anything about the world from League of Legends and want to writing in that universe: reach out. Please. I'm feral for Arcane. I'll never shut up about it.

Plots, ideas, and other stuff
I have a large variety of half thought out and fully fleshed out plots and ideas, most of which can just fall under some of the basic pairings listed below. If you're interested in one just let me know, otherwise, I'm more than happy to work out a new plot and story with a partner.

(Brackets [ ] will indicate my preferred role, but I'm always down for any of them)

  • [Fae Royalty] + human
  • Vampire + human
(As a subtopic to this, here's some more specific ones: Vampire that's been hidden for centuries and a human who happened to stumble across their home, the vampire coping with having a new roommate and a slow burn romance. Humans being terrorized by vampire rule and a human rebellion working to overthrow the undead)
  • Post-apocalyptic survivors
  • Angel + Demon
  • Space explorers
  • Icharus + [Winged Being] (This one is a very specific plot that I've been dying to do)
  • Exiled Prince + commoner
  • Powerful being + human
  • Thief + Guard
  • Monster hunter + Monster or apprentice
  • [Wasteland wanderer] + Wasteland city leader
  • god/godess + [mortal]
  • stolen identity + [the lover that doesn't know it's someone new]
  • royal + their fighting champion
  • magic as a weapon + magic as a shield

Then these are just small snippets of things to do that sounded fun? Not pairings per se, but maybe mini-plots
  • Two warriors with a forbidden love
  • Characters with a forgotten/painful past
  • Multiverse/world jumping
  • exploring a new planet in any sense

Characters
For the general rp, I can usually handle playing two characters full time, and one or two more if they're only around for a few posts or if they're small side characters. I'm not picky about how many characters you would like to play or cover, as long as they aren't over the top overpowered!

Additional
If anyone is interested, I would prefer getting in touch through a PM, but just replying on here will work just as well!

Also, if you have a plot on mind that isn't listed or doesn't fit any of the ones I put out, feel free to still reach out! I love meeting new people and working through new ideas that I haven't considered before!

Continuation of the main thread:

Hey y'all I'm back again, this time with some specific plots or explanations of my previous plots. Most of these are things I'm craving immensely to do and while they have a pretty set structure I'm willing to flex ideas slightly if anyone is interested in them. Anyway, here they are:

Idea One:
(Backstory, just got into d&d super recently, and this is my character. I have her backstory worked out, but I need to do some personality work)
Lady Reshma Elster is the firstborn of the Elster line, the heir to the family business, and an all-around perfect example of a woman. But one night at a rowdy family party, celebrating a trade deal with the Elves that will boost the family business immensely, Reshma makes a fatal mistake. While drunk, she meets an extremely fine elf and they hit it off. Neither of them being in their right mind…they hook up.

Both of them realize their mistake, but a fiery relationship between them blooms anyway -one she hides from her family with her life. All too soon though, the elf has to return to their own land. And a few weeks later…her family finds out about her relationship. The Elster family is outraged, and almost immediately she's disowned. (A relationship outside of someone specifically picked is enough to warrant anger...sleeping with someone who's not even courting Reshma is grounds for banishment).

Reshma has nowhere else to turn but to try to find her former lover and to plead with them to marry her so she can go back home and inherit the Elster business. But will she find them? Will they even remember her? And most importantly, will they step up and help her, or ignore her and go on with their life?

^ Ok, so a little rocky, but this could have multiple starting points, and it could lead to some interesting moments. I'm willing to work with possible ideas for specifics (again, this is mostly for personality creation). You would play the elf (if not obvious) and there are almost zero limits on character creation.

___________

Idea Two:

Everyone knows the story of Icarus. How he flew with his amazing wax wings and soared for freedom, only to fly too high and melt his wings. Many assume he died when he fell. Including his father.

But that was not the case. Instead, the god of the sea took pity on Icarus, and washed the boy ashore, onto an island of mythical winged beings created by the god Apollo. Icarus is given a chance to live again, though he's still not completely free while being trapped on the island. Is the new relative freedom enough for the inventor boy, or will he try to leave again?

^ This idea is one I've done a slight play-through before with, and I fell in love with the idea. I would play one of the winged beings from the island, and Icarus would be your character. The partner I did this with before and I never got to figure out an ending, but there are multiple ways it can play out.

______
Idea Three:

In the apocalypse, there aren't many people who make it out on their own. Most organize themselves into cities, run by gangs or self-ordained kings, and while it's not ideal, it provides relative security. Things in the cities are rough, but they're better than the outsides.

That being said, a few people do manage on their own. Dubbed 'wanderers' or 'Ders' for short, they do as their nickname says, they wander the earth, living and killing as needed to survive. They take pride in not working with cities, and many have left the cities for various reasons; starvation, horrid conditions, simply being cooped up.

And as all good stories go, what happens when an explorer from the wasteland and a city dweller meet? Not just any dweller, but the leader of a large city, someone with ruthless power whose city is known to be tough to live in and tougher yet to lead.

^ In this one, I would prefer to play the wanderer character. This prompt will require a heft amount of worldbuilding between partners, but it will leave you with almost complete freedom as to what the city is like if you so choose. My only preferences are that the character you make should be ruthless. Preferably has lived comfortably with their position and is almost a bit like -almost exactly like- a cocky noble who's out of touch with their people and who relies on strength to keep things in line.

Conclusion

This is nowhere near the last of my list of desired rps, but these are ones in particular that have a deep spot in my heart. If interested, feel free to reply to this thread, or send a pm and we can work something out! Make sure to read my rules and such from my original post as well!
