Hello, my name is Bronze Wool and I was introduced to this site by my friend, Luar Grey, who convinced me to give this community a chance after we started talking about our characters and exchanging stories ideas.
Quick Introduction
You may call me by my full username, Bronze, or my actual nickname, Charl. I am from England and currently living in Scotland. 26 years old, studied engineering in college, and work a full-time job. I'm a geek at heart with a love for binge watching netflix, playing point and click adventures games on steam, and listening to 80s rock music and certain types of heavy metal.
I first started roleplaying on tumblr nearly three years ago now, in the Transformers fandom, and still do. I enjoyed making profiles for different muses and eventually working my way up to an OC of my own. This will be the first time I write a fandomless OC and I look forward to seeing where this experience takes me.
Writing was a hobby of mine since I was 15, when I first started appreciating literature (I was a gamer girl in my youth). I then took a break from writing because of the increased workload in college, and never really got back into it. Wanting my motivation back, I took Luar Grey's advice and made an account on here so I may have a place to write short stories and receive constructive feedback, while working my way back up to writing a novel series I wanted to write but ultimately shelved.
My work
My interests lies purely in sci-fi and fantasy worlds with a slight pinch of horror (I am warning you right now, I have no talent for romance or slice of life narratives). Before I stopped writing I had four book series I wanted to write, but after going through my old notes, I realize these ideas would probably work better as part of one singular universe, something in the vein of Terry Pratchet's Discworld.
This world I am drafting is dived into four areas and each one focuses on a different theme. The first one (the one I want to focus my energy on) is based around Alchemy, particularly the history of how these teachings came about from Ancient Egypt, to parts of India and China, but set in a biopunk universe with strange science and fantastical characters who learn to harness these elements.
I have no reason to go into the other three stories at this point in time, but if any future partners would like to hear more of this expanded world, then I'll do so in private. I love world building and I would very much like to hear all about your universe, the laws of the world and how this shapes your characters and their motives. This fascinates me more than anything and I would love to bounce ideas off you.
RP Style
As of this time I do not have a particular muse in mind to interact with all of you, as there is not one that I can single out, but that may change in the future as I might start off with a brand new character and work with them from the ground up, creating a brand new world for them to explore and share with your muse.

- I prefer to write in a multi-para thread format and as such, can be quite wordy with my responses (as if this introduction wasn't any indication...). I am not asking you to keep up with me in terms of quantity, since it is the quality that matters, but I may lose interest if you are only giving me single word responses and are not making any effort to help guide the story.
- I do not care for scripted text format (Character: *Speech*, Character: *action*)
- I write in the third person and rarely switch to first person unless there is a reason for it.
- I will keep to the rules of this site, but you should know I am interested in darker themes, gore and taboo suggests. Nothing is off the table for me as long as it is discussed beforehand.
- I will write sexual content, but understand that I will not write such content with someone I barely know and have not developed our characters to the point where they would have sex.
