Good evening, folks,
I stumbled upon this site and thought to get started. I'm an aspiring novelist and avid writer.
My roots for writing began with notebook fanfic as a child that then segued into forum based roleplaying back in 2001. If anyone remembers the Gundam Wing board on Audiogalaxy, odds are that we've met before. I was young and awful back then, haha. I eventually moved to Gaia Online in 2004 and have stayed since, on and off. There was a proboards phase back in 2005, but it was pretty short lived. Though I have been at this for quite some time, I've roleplayed less and less in recent years. I still have some projects on the go and some active fics I plug away at in Google Docs, however. Lately, I have been struggling with writer's block and would like to meet up with a new batch of writers here. I'm really excited to see a board with some activity as Gaia appears to be dying (it did have a good run).
My interests are fairly diverse, though I seem to have a penchant for writing modern fantasy, sci-fi, drama, crime, super hero, and action pieces. I blame shounen anime and video games during my formative years for that. Har har. I'm not too high on high fantasy, but I will go there on occasion. I have my likes, but I'll try any prompt or theme when it comes to writing.
That's all I'll say about myself for now. If you're ever curious, feel free to ask. I'm an open book. I very much look forward to getting to know everyone here.
