I stumbled onto this site when looking for a place where adult themed roleplay is allowed. Yay! I am a nerd, love British stuff and the culture. In addition to roleplay, I read, write poetry ( and have two novels I need to edit), and I work nights. I suppose I should tell you how I started out.
I've been creating characters for 20 years. I started in chat rooms, than went to forums (where I did a management position), and finally messengers and DA notes. The genres I've covered are: Marvel, DC, fandoms, medieval/period fantasy and post apocalyptic. I prefer fantasy , in a modern world,with OCs. I have many OCs, of different mythical races.
The most important thing to me, is finding a partner that I can talk with about ideas. Roleplay should be fun, and the characters involved should grow. Plots should be beneficial to both partners. I've realized that communication is big with me, and most my characters have a dominant personality . I have a somewhat interesting sense of humor, but I'm easy to get along with. (At least that's what my teachers always said. )
