Hi!

I'm new to the community, but looking to use an old OC just to break me in. I think I will be writing around 200-500 words, depending on my partner, and usually enjoy chill, social roleplays, where my OCs - who are usually young adults - grow into their professional/social/romantic life as it moves along.

I'd prefer a modern setting, although I am actually used to Harry Potter themed RPGs, so wouldn't say no to that either!

My only doubt is that I enjoy exploring my OC with lots of different players, so I'm not sure how it would work to have just one partner?

Overall, I am a sort of a newbie - thank you for having me!

You can recruit multiple partners to participate in your story. Make a request in the groups request thread and detail out what you are looking for to see about getting the first of hopefully several that will join you in your adventrue of writing.

if you havn't already, take a peek at THE RULES and the
HANDY SANCTUM GUIDE. After that you can peek at the request threads to start looking for a partner and story idea that catches your fancy or make one of your own to get the people coming to you.

Hey there,

Hope you are settling in ok, I don't think you will have any problems finding like minded writers here. They are a super talented bunch and OC fantasy is for certain right up there at the top of the most popular choices.

I am sure you have been getting your bearings and having a good look around and there is alot to take in so let me narrow the most important things that will ensure you the smoothest transition to the site.

READ the rules. There really isn't that many to make it worth skipping them for an 60 seconds of time .As there a couple there, that differ to alot of other sites and they sometimes trip ppl up.
( I know you have done this )
Have a little look through the Requests thread, to see what ppl expect to find in a RT ....
Then go wild making your own. Remember it's just as important to say what you , do NOT WANT , as waxing lyrical about your passions.

When searching for partner , take the time to search at least 3 pages deep on the Requests thread because the bump rate keeps things moving with a quickness.

There are groups running at the moment,for those look for the corresponding OOC ( out of character) threads to introduce yourself.

There's a bunch of miscreants in chat who are good ppl and will help if they can, point you in the right direction if they can't.
