Novice Hello People

You can call me Flub or Nugget. I'm a 21-year-old she/her born and raised in the rainy Pacific Northwest region of Washington State. Other than a lame Insta roleplay group and a failed attempt to join a clique-y DnD group, I've had pretty much zero roleplay experience. I've been acting in local theatre since I was very young and have loved every second of it. I've always had a knack for writing, but I've never gotten around to actually writing a story. I think I prefer to play a character and see where the narrative takes me.

I'm most interested in stories with elements of sci-fi, thrill, and/or survival. I'm looking to roleplay in a group until I get more comfortable in the roleplay space.

Some other facts about me:

• - I'm in the process of teaching myself music production in Ableton. I suck right now, but if you wanna take a listen, I'm Magdalen on Youtube (handle is @magdaleneladgam)
• - I'm really into personality typology. I'm an ENFP 4w3 sx/sp.
• - I'm a Christian. I don't identify with a certain denomination, as I'm still trying to seek the truth. I'm fine with language and adult subjects, but I will avoid engaging with it excessively.
• - I'm super into Valve games, particularly Portal, Half-Life, and Team Fortress 2. I'm still playing though Half-Life though, so no spoilers!!!
• - I deal with ADHD, chronic depression, and social anxiety. It's taken me a while to get the courage to even make an account here, but I'm here now. My apologies if I come off shy or airheaded - please be honest if I should be going about something a different way.

I think that's it. I'm nervous about making a fool of myself but excited to get started and meet like-minded people. Feel free to message me if you wanna talk about anything.

Heya! INFP and also from Washington originally even though I'm about 3k miles from there now in the south lol. Too bad about your rough starts in RP, but you've found a great place to explore your ideas with more reasonable folks! Good luck finding some wonderful partners to share with!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
