Here is a small and physically timid man, who becomes pale at the idea of violent situations. Here grew up the son of a woman who ran a gambling den. As she used him as a server, he became friends with a number of her clients and they seemed impressed with his intelligence. Over time they taught him a great number of games, how to be observant and yet seem totally calm, as well as methods of cheating and how to spot it. He persuaded some of these older friends to teach him to read, as well as check out books from the library for him. He learned that he naturally excelled in mathematics and could make calculations in his head at a very quick speed.

Here Dobble grew up in a gambling den and had a number of talents that made becoming a professional gambler a natural career choice, but he was required by his mother to run her establishment for many years, until she passed away. Over the years, he incurred and paid off many debts. He has learned from his mistakes and has put together a tidy sum. If he met a suitable mate, he might retire. Dobble has a secret dream of being acknowledged as one of the greatest gamblers ever, to the point where maybe others will pray to him after he's passed away.
