nn. Elem in the past was responsible for the death of famous explorer Giuseppe Lance, for not sending reinforcements to his research camp far in the reaches of Turket. He was doing holy work, but a corrupted prophet believed otherwise. For many years afterwards the prophets were frowned upon for the atrocity and the Elem name was considered an omen for almost a century before the new prophets were able to clear their country's name.
oo. Scholars, teachers and nobles are the most priviledged citizens with the most rights and opportunities. Lower class citizens are pretty much ignored. With the last king, currency was a big influence during the war of jaws, so the higher waged citizens made the most influence and it stayed that way ever since.
pp. An embarrassing year in history was when an old prophet gave the wrong speech at a landsmeet…they talked about it for years, teasing that Eulir's prophets were full of old crones…they try to pretend it never happened…
qq. Proud moments include one of the first priestesses who closed the last wave of demons and saved the world from imminent destruction. Many countries however didn't believe it was actually an emergency..
rr. Non-natural disasters include food depletion, plague and infestations. Infestations include rats or mice, worms and mould. The people usually go into quarantine until healers come up with a solution. For food depletion, supplements are shipped in from Turket and Parmilas. For rats and mice, cats are imported and people are encouraged to kill the rodents. When the rat issue is under control, the cats are rounded and shipped away.
ss. Biggest threats to the peace include the preservation of the demonic urn and the syphon shield crystal keeping all unholy scourges outside of Elem.
tt. After the royal bloodline was removed, the prophets took over the rulership of Elem. Lots of people think they take absolute power…they care only of the code for preserving the urn and care little for Elem's people. But money and donations seem to be graciously accepted. The people yearn for another priestess and her purity to help uplift Elem once again.
uu. The people can say anything they please, as long as it is not negative words about the gods, doomsaying or publicly disrespecting the prophet's government – as any of the three can lead to jailing.
vv. The loaner (bank) controls most of the profits and currency. Since the royal bloodline was removed, most of that responsibility was given to the loaner – or broker. Any real issues are brought to the prophets for opinions and orders.
