Hi, I'm Jacket, pleasure to meet y'all!

I've been writing and roleplaying, in one form or another, for as long as I can remember. I started off in forums similar to this, and bounced around from place to place, medium to medium, and having mixed success, and ended up losing that inner spark for a little bit, before a friend of mine recommended this site to me, and encouraged me to give it a shot. So, here I am, equal parts nervous and excited to shake off the rust and get back into it!

I've written in a variety of genres and styles and am comfortable in pretty much any setting imaginable. Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Historical, Action, Supernatural, etc etc etc. You name it, I've dabbled in it. My favorites, by far, are historical and science fiction.

I'm comfortable with NSFW/Smut, but it's a thin line to walk. I find ERP exclusively doesn't hold my interest for long, but if it's in service of a gripping plot and character dynamic, I'm all for it.

Speaking of, if there's one thing I absolutely adore, it's a strong dynamic. Rivals, lovers, friends, soulmates; Whatever it is, as long as the characters are well-developed and multidimensional and play off of one another well, I'll go absolutely feral for it.

Anyways, I won't ramble too much. Thank you all for having me!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure! Next, I've created A Sanctum Tour to help find a lot of cool places on site! There's plenty to do while waiting on replies or to give yourself a break every now and then!
