I'm squid and I've been writing since before I could talk probably. I've roleplayed with friends in text message chains and shared google docs before, and I was introduced to a roleplay site once but it died before I could really get into it, so this is really my first time doing something like this. I'm super excited to meet you all!
I usually write in longer paragraphs and I like it when my partner does too, personally I think it adds more to the story and I want to read more of your writing! I flip between 1st person and 3rd person views depending on what I feel is right, I have no preference. I love OOC chatter, but it's not necessary -- I'll match your energy. even if we don't speak a word about anything outside of the story together, I'll enjoy your company either way. I have very few limits as to what kind of content I'm not comfortable with, whatever boundaries you have will be safe with me. because there's a three mile long list of genres/themes I like, I'll put my other favorites here and put my more writing-related "about me" subjects in my request thread.
my favorite books (in no particular order) are
The Night Circus, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea, Slewfoot, Bones & All, The Great Gatsby, Leviathan Wakes (The Expanse), Ninth House, Starless Sea, the Saga graphic novel series
my favorite artists (in no particular order) are
Deftones, Mitski, Ethel Cain, Hozier, Frank Ocean, Jeff Buckley, Adrienne Lenker/Big Thief, Pierce The Veil, Frank Sinatra, Nirvana, Lord Huron, Noah Kahan
my favorite shows (in no particular order) are
Yellowjackets, Fleabag, Community, Twin Peaks, Gravity Falls, Modern Family, X Files, Golden Girls, House MD, The Twilight Zone (1959), Supernatural, The Boys
I really like to read, kickbox, cross stitch, play guitar + bass, cook, and think about writing when I'm not actually writing
