Hello! My name is Elephancy, and while I'm not new to roleplaying, I'm sure to be rusty. I spent several years almost obsessively roleplaying with friends, but I took a long break when some personal issues got in the way of my motivation to write. I'm doing much better now, and I've missed roleplaying dearly. I'm excited to talk to other writers, potentially make some online friends, and hopefully receive constructive criticism and advice as I start this journey over for a second time.

Romance and fantasy (typically modern or based off an established world with fantasy elements) were the most common genres I wrote for, but I do intend to branch out and write more diverse roleplays with willing partners. I do write smut, and while I'm not super fussy about the plot to smut ratio, I do prefer that if there is an excessive amount of smut in a roleplay, that there is at least a plot explaining or revolving around it. As far as I know, I'm at least fairly literate, but sometimes my quality of writing can admittedly vary depending on how confident I am at the moment or how interested I am in the rp. In those moments, I like to talk OOC about the plot moving forward or wherever I'm feeling stuck. I want to write with all kinds of people though, and I'm not particular about post lengths or perfect grammar as long as effort and thought was put into the response.

All that said, if you're still reading, I appreciate you! My writing gets a bit long winded and formal writing stuff like this. I get nervous and feel a bit silly, I guess. Anyway, I look forward to our time together! Please shoot me a message if you'd like to chat!

Oh! I don't think I'll be writing anything smutty with anyone younger than 21. It just feels a bit strange for me, sorry! I'd be happy to roleplay otherwise though!

Second! I bet you're wondering how to start Role Playing and where to go! I think it's pretty fun to explore the forums, and I highly recommend doing so! Most thread homes, if not all, have a pinned post at the top of them to tell you what goes there! However, the Request Threads are pretty self explanatory; Here's a Link! There's plenty to look through, but you could also build your very own! Tell people what you're all about and get those writing partners! Take your time though; there's never any pressure!
