Hiya!
So glad you stumbled upon my little introduction. I'll try and keep it short and sweetand totally not because I'm absolute shite at these things. Edit: this is not that short, oops
You can just call me by my user, I'm most comfortable being referred to otherwise as she/her or they/them, not too picky either way. I've been writing for, like... ever? More on the casual side. I've written copious fanfictions, a lot of reader-insert types (no use of Y/N of course ^-^). I love science fiction (there's so much that can be touched on here), fantasy, historical fiction, modern, all of it. Different combinations of those? Love, love, love, love so much I can hardly breathe. Complete slut for certain tropes— which I will get into a little better once I'm able to make a request thread. As far as who I am, I'd like to think I'm pretty laid back, but also passionate about my stories. When it comes to roleplaying I do it more for the interpersonal relationships than the plot, but at the same I do need an interesting plotline to go along with it. I just enjoy budding, building relationships more than anything. Not just the mushy-gushy feelings of it all, I like deeper and darker themes. How the enemies become lovers, is it linear? Probably not, which makes for a riveting exploration. Does that make sense?
I won't lie, I'm not the best. I make mistakes and have trouble with changing tenses once I'm set in one for a long time, same goes for POV (I've been writing a lot of second person POV lately— for... no reason... <.< >.>), but I do try. I'm most used to past tense, third person when it comes to roleplaying. Unless you're a huge stickler I don't think too many mistakes will happen often enough to bring you out of our story too much. That said, I'm not a huge stickler myself. And love heavy characterization, too! Accents, different cultures and customs (whether real or something you or we make up), languages, the way your character thinks not always being grammatically correct, quirks, all of that good stuff.
A friend of mine put me onto this site and I'm super-duper excited to get started. Please, if you have anything you'd like to throw my way in the meantime feel free to send it. I know you didn't get the most information about me from this, but I'm going to get started on my profile and initial request thread. I'd love to hear your fantasies! And no worries, I will kindly let you know if that's up my alley or not. Might even inspire something we can build together. (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.゚
Also, my poll is more or less to gauge if such a thing is popular on here. I'm seeing more original love on here which is my preference, but I also like me some fandom stuff from time to time if I can find people that find the same TVs/Movies compelling.
