Hi there. You may call me Mas--Griff. I am an Elder Wight of the role-playing world; a spectre of an age between Great Old Forum Fellowships and the limited instant messengers. For before the Silent Purge and rise of the Dopamine Overload of social networks, I was an avid creator of thrills and horrors. But as with all things in this faux-world, many of my friends and homes drifted into the ether. So here I am, born again in a different era looking for new fellowships and new stories. If you are either lost within the same sea or find me interesting, keep reading. (Caveat Emptor!)
Specifically, I seek after the energy of the old Pulps (Howard, Burroughs, Lovecraft) and the dire mysteries of the unknown. A sense of adventure into the depths inside or outside of reality. But bound within simpler stories, as I'm a bit...rusty. So I'll be focusing on 1x1 with a few people (3 tops).
This is what I expect from a partner and what I'm interested in:
1. A solid grasp of the English language and storytelling. Enough to have a creative style or flair with their words, and understand how a story progresses. (With this comes enough length and detail that we may work off the meat of our posts).
2. 18+. I like an R-rated atmosphere, though not excessively so. Smut's fine, especially if it reveals character or adds to the story. Love violence as well, but again not of the sadistic variety.
3. Weekly replies. As I am just returning to role-playing myself, I expect no more or less than a post per week. Ideally, 3+ per week is best.
4. Anything including romance is strictly MxF.
5. Original ideas only. That doesn't mean these ideas can't exist inside a popular world of a book, TV show, etc. Just that I'm pretty selective about what kind of world I want to explore.
6. And what kinds of worlds do I want to explore?
6a. Don't wanna explore high schools, most animes, Cannon Character fandoms, soap operas (Space Operas are fine), anything depressing/nihilistic. (This list may be edited in the future).
7. Most things can be negotiated. I might like to stick to my niche, but provided I can add my own flair to your ideas then almost anything is possible.
Currently, I don't really have any ideas myself. However, I love to brain-storm things, and are a leper of the accursed world-building community.
Do your worst.

- Fantasy. (From medieval fairy-tales to Tolkien. Westeros doesn't count).
- Horror (of the overwhelming and unknown).
- Action/Adventure. (So I can hit bad things and get loot).
- A mix! (If you have an idea for a genre outside of the above, but mixes them. e.g. Science Fantasy, Western Horror, etc. As long as it involves something of the unknown, avoids realism, and provides a quest of sorts.)
- Ultimately uplifting stories. While I like to explore dark things, it's not to become a part of them. Rather it's to overcome them or explore the questions they provide.
